Soup came in a bread bowl and I don't understand the purpose of the bread bowl. Maybe a half a cup to a cup of soup and a big wad of flavorless bread I don't understand its purpose... Maybe a bite of the bread and throw it away. The sandwich was a smokehouse on a focaccia was probably not over an inch thick. It sounded great but there was so little on it all I could taste was the mustard sauce. $20 it's too much to pay for a dinky sandwich and soup. Sorry, I won't make that mistake again. And yes of course I tipped, throwing three bucks in the jar. She told me I could get it without the bread bowl next time. What are you paying $20 for?

Although it is no longer on the menu, my favorite sandwich is the Steph Curry One, which features turkey, provolone cheese, and yellow BBQ sauce. I found out that even if something is not on the menu, they can still make it for you if you remember the combination. Some other sandwiches I like are the Hunter Pence and the Steve Nash. The service is friendly, and they are more than happy to offer suggestions on what sandwich to choose, as they have an excellent selection of sandwiches. I also like the atmosphere. It is nice and colorful, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy your food. Ike's is also a great place to go if you need to eat on the run. Once, I had to take my sandwich to go. Upon ordering it, they had it ready with plenty of time to spare. I also like that they have a rewards program. I highly recommend Ike's Love and Sandwiches to anyone who is looking for a great sandwich on Mill Avenue.

They just lost a long time customer. I always order 24 inch pizzas from them in the $35+ range. I ordered a pepperoni, double-mushroom and have the receipt stating exactly that. BUT when I got home, there were mushrooms on only HALF the pizza. When I called to raise my concerns about the competency of this restaurant, this SHMUCK fckn straight up lied saying he read the order back to me! AND I have the receipt proving him wrong! Amazing how the receipt reads exactly right and somehow it was too complicated to be made correctly. I'm sooooo done with this place. NEVER AGAIN. Literal degenerates running the place I cannot stress this enough. And to have the AUDACITY to lie to ME about it is UNFORGIVABLE. Worthless company, if I could give it zero stars I would. I used to come here all the time some time back, and every time was always on point! I've never left a review for them before, but I really felt it was time that I have after being away for so long. I placed an order for our group of friends, but the order got a bit messed up and our delivery had some hiccups getting to us. When I called in about it, the staff was extremely helpful in getting everything fixed up and their customer service was amazing. Mandy and Xavier were super thorough in their approach to customer satisfaction and I definitely will be back more in the future :) These guys honestly rocked it and I haven't been so impressed with service like this in a while. I ordered a meatza pizza and the only toppings that came on the pizza was ham and bacon... this is the 4th time I have gotten a wrong order and I will never go back Again!! I have given them chance after chance and they continue to screw me over. The staff was rude and disrespectful when I called and made the complaint and asked for a refund! If you want good food OR good customer service I would highly suggest you don't even think foot about stepping into their terrible establishment. Terrible customer service... every employee lies about their role within staff. "Owner" threatened and followed me when I came to receive credit for an order they messed up!!!! I have video proof of everything and they will be reported to the Arizona department of health!!!!!!! Never received customer service so sloppy, disappointing, and disrespectful in my entire life. Will never step foot back into the building as I was threatened like I mentioned. They'll be out of business extremely soon, especially serving pizza without cleaning their hands or without gloves and having soap/hand sanitizer on the pizza. read more

I've been eating at Geno's for 10+ years across 2 locations. They've had ups and downs, but always some of the best food in town. Closest thing to an east coast pizza/sub shop I've found in the valley. Delicious pizzas and great toasted subs. I think they get a bad rap based on the sort of clientele they deal with (lots of drunk people, college kids, etc), but the restaurant is always clean and the food is always good. Great for lunch or dinner, but even better late night when everything else is closed (the night crew is always on point!). read more

Oh my gosh the original genos in Tempe is the best I've tried other genos which isn't even close to this one. The people are very friendly they always have amazing specials I love hearing them on the radio about their specials. This is probably my favorite spot for a late night snack. I come here at least once a week and have ordered almost everything on the menu. The Philly Cheesesteak, Cheesy Bread, Loaded Fries, Classic Burger, Italian Sub... everything is AMAZING!! Maggie and Courtney are usually working the late night shift and we've become pretty friendly. They make the whole experience even better with their fantastic attitude and service. I get Genos at least once a week on my way home from work. They have great specials. I love that they have flavored crusts and other sauces, I get the pesto. As a former employee of Genos that was on McQueen and Guadalupe, I was sad to see them close. I was craving their cheesesteaks today. When I saw the original Genos was still open I jumped to go get one. Well was I disappointed. The bread was cold, hardly any meat was on there, extra cheese was not even melted and the mayo was on the meat and not on the bread. Called in for a delivery, girl on the phone was very polite and clear. My order was a little more than I had expected, for just some pizza and wings, but it was delivered within the hour, and it tasted amazing, so I couldn't really complain. The mozzarella sticks were well seasoned, crunchy, yet the cheese was melted perfectly it had cheese pulls! Def 1 of the best motzy sticks I've tried. For our pizza we got pepperoni & jalapeños and a sausage & jalapeños, jalapeños had a nice kick to it, both had a good amount of sauce and toppings. Im a super big fan of their crust, it actually had a good flavor and texture, I'm very picky about pizza crust so I give it a 10/10. I also got hot honey wings and my bf got hot, both were cooked just right, crispy and juicy. Get extra ranch and extra sauce it's that good. Next night we reheated the pizza and our last mozzarella stick in the oven, pizza crust & cheese was perfect and the motzy stick was cooked as if we just got it from the restaurant. We are coming back for sure, great service, chill atmosphere and loved the interior and the cute little Pokémon card dispenser. We are definitely coming back!!

I've been meaning to stop in and try it out for a while and finally did. Service was great. The people working here are chill and friendly. Food was on par with any good sub place for a fraction of the cost! They even offer toasted subs which always is a positive for me! Double toasted baby. If you're in the mood for a sub and want to give your business to a mom and pop shop instead of a chain, I highly recommend this place!
