When we first ordered from Geno's it was really well done. The last three times we've ordered, the order is not only screwed up, but had to wait an additional 20 minutes from the time we were told it would be ready. Also, one of the drivers for Geno's almost hit us and when we brought it to the attention of the manager, her comment was, "I've told you, you can't drive like that with our customers at pick-up!" Seriously looking for a new place!!! read more

No refund policy for crappy food. Beware ! After 35.00 I will never get another limp. Soggy pizza with fake cheese and hot wing sauce uneatable. Horrible horrible pizza. Digiorno is better. I'm going back tomorrow and bringing it back. To be continued.... if I could do no star I would. The female Mgr. Did nothing to rectify the situation. So much for customers always right. read more

This is the very first review I am writing and I am doing so from my car. I placed a take out order for two philly cheese fries with extra onion and mushroom. I picked up my order and drove off to the movies. I get there and open the container. The first one was fine, the second has basically no cheese, one little sliver of onion and one tiny piece of mushroom. I just paid $16.00 for fries!!! and this is what I get? I call and am told I can return it now and wait for a replacement or I can return it after my movie and they would replace it then. I explain this is my dinner and ask if I am supposed to wait 2 1/2 hours for that and the "manager" tells me "Well I can't bring it to you" I inform her I will not be dining there again and she says "okay great! Have a good night" Horrible experience. read more

As a weekly regular, I have only gotten their pizza & fries. I haven't tried any of their subs or burgers. The food itself tastes good, and the prices are fair. They have a foot long slice for $2.50, and you can get a flavored crust. They are open til 5am every day, so you can count on Geno's for a midnight snack. They just remodeled the inside of the restaurant a few months ago, but I normally get takeout. Their service is fast, not taking more than 15mins to get my takeout. Geno's also provides delivery through Yelp or Uber Eats. I currently also get 10% back in Uber credits every time I eat at Geno's, due to some Visa Local Rewards program I signed up through the default Uber app. read more

Visited Geno's today with my grandson and wife to take advantage of a Local Flavor I had purchased this morning and to try out a different restaurant. After ordering, when I presented the waitress with my Local Flavor certificate for $20.00, the waitress informed me that she could not accept the certificate for the face value but would give us $10.00 credit toward our bill. When we questioned further, she stated that they were having issues with Local Flavor issuing more certificates than they should have and hence, she would not honor them. No amount of testing logic would change her mind and we either left the establishment or took the $10.00 credit for a $20.00 certificate. We will definitely not be returning to this restaurant. Even asked if maybe she would give us a couple soda's for our trouble but not even that compromise was acceptable to her. read more

Wings are amazing, fries are disappointing. Service was solid, the layout sucks though. Haven't tried their pizza but will do so soon. read more

Horrible experience. Cold food delivered from someone no one knew about and the manager hung up on me multiple times. I want a refund!!!!

Delicious pizza! Amazing garlic chicken sandwich with the red sauce. Owners are really welcoming. Great family owned place. Thank you!

pizza available when i need it and it's good too 37 characters to go umm yeah did i mention it's good.... geno makes it in italy i believe

The food here is terrible. Sandwiches have hardly anything on them, the meatball sandwich has tiny little meatballs, hardly any sauce - very dry. These sandwiches don't look anything like their pictures. Only 2 cold sandwiches on the menu and don't ask for something custom as it won't happen. Glad I only paid 50% for this food with Groupon, I would have been really upset if I paid full price for the food. Won't be coming back. read more

Unfortunately bread was soggy and fries tasted funny, perhaps I'm not an expert on this type of food and maybe in not cultural enough but definitely not a Philly cheesesteak. read more

I simply called for a pizza delivered to a local bar.. the call was dropped to begin with, then the person on the phone could not even translate my phone #.. let alone my card information.. I asked for a CASH transaction and they DENIED.. seems almost unlawful.. PLEASE fix these issues!!!! read more

Everything I've gotten from here is good. Delivery is always timely, and the food is hot and fresh when it gets to me. Both the chicken Philly and regular Philly subs are good. The garlic fries are great too. read more

Worst food we've ever had! Cheese steak was nasty, gyro was bad, even cold cut sandwich was gross! Ended up throwing it all away except the mozzarella sticks which were really good. read more

Went 3 weeks ago and the kid behind the counter charged for a whole pizza vs a slice. Refunds $$ no big deal... He seemed new but the food was good so no big deal... We went back tonight being in the area and per our receipt order at 1810... 15 min goes by, they bring one sub says the other sub and wings were on the way... 15 min later still no food. Go to counter show receipt explain the issue... 20 min later the rest comes out. The person who I believe is the manger brought the stuff and said " sorry we did wrap it to go for you". If you can't figure out how to run a delivery, take out, dine in restaurant you really need to replace management and get more efficient people. As we were finishing there was a table that had left about 15 min before us. Looked like someone started clean the table as there was a rag and a bottle of cleaner sitting on it... person never came back for the cleaner or finished the table before we left... Thats a restaurant no no leaving chemicals out in public... someone needs to wipe the staff and bring a better game because the food is good, but common decency and customer service are lacking and now you are leaving a potential lawsuit if your cleaning chemicals get into the hands og a child... I'm sure OSHA would approve... read more

Placed an order at 731 pm for delivery online and at 840 pm called to find out why it was not delivered. Guy on the phone stated that the reason for the delay was the traffic was so bad that from they "just left". 40 minutes later after no delivery yet I called again and the lady stated holding her laughter stated it was delivered to another apartment and stated that I put the wrong address. One thing is I know both were lying and the only two things saved it was the manager that called me saying the driver assigned to deliver went home with an apology and the food came hot. Food for thought. Don't lie to your customers when they live a mile and a half from you because worse advertising you can have is an upset customer. read more

The food was really good but I found 2 hairs. I ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza and the buffalo fries and I found a long blonde hair in both of my items. Super gross please start wearing hair nets or something read more

Foods okay. Delivery is normally not the best idea. You guys were so close to following my instructions for food, but still failed. I feel like your cooks worked for me and disappointed me at some point. Its not hard to read a ticket and know what the person wants or, call the the customer to make sure. I hope noone there got raises for the holidays.. youre just one step above gus's pizza and i will never eat at that place again. If i wanted my food to not be made the way i ask, id gotto mcdonalds and terrorize their $15hr wanting asses! read more

The cheesesteaks are the best in town. But they are a little pricey and the service could be improved. I also think they overcharge for condiments...50 cents for every side of ranch is excessive. But I keep coming back because the food is pretty addictive! read more

Entire order was 45 minutes late and ice cold. I've tried time and time again to order from them but they fail every time. Would never recommend. read more

Eh. I love cheesesteaks. I just thought it would be better. It was definitely the meat, flavor? Not cooked enough? Not sure but just not that great. Also girl in phone was rude. read more

I am a NY pizza snob. Stopped for lunch. Pizza by the slice or pie. These are large thin crust that you can fold over as pizza should be. I had pepperoni with the garlic crust. I don't think I will try others. Totally loved it. Look I'm a fat old new Yorker. This is the best pizza in Tempe and maybe the valley until someone shows me better. read more

Just what I needed. The employees are super chill but not TOO chill. Great place to pick up something on the way to Phoenix, or maybe even a *cough* sobering experience coming back. Open super late which is great for guys like me who get off of work at two in the morning. Got off early tonight, got some anyways. read more

Wow! Just ordered the bacon ranch fries and two Philly subs, one BBQ, one Mushroom. Amazing!! So good. Hot fresh and sent quick. I will definitely order again! read more

I suspect this is a place that gets better the more you drink and the later it gets. I stopped in at 3:30am and got a slice to go. I wasn't drunk but it was late and although the slice looked pathetic it tasted just fine. The price was right though so I didn't feel like I got ripped off. They have a good variety in the menu so I'll likely be back at least one more time to test some more of the options. Staff were friendly and seating area was clean, bathroom was ready for a good cleaning but not disgusting. It's a one person at a time so it could be a wait if you need to use it. This is definitely a late night place so if the food impresses I'll be adding a star soon. read more

Am sorry for what i said and the manger fixed what happened and she was really nice and gave me store credit! They're food is always good man! Love the chicken pita!!!!! read more

First time.. ordering here on a late Sunday; The menu was okay not a lot to choose from but it's alright. Anyways, I thought to order something small (sweet potato fries) The order took about a good hour for a full sub and the fries. I'm quite disappointed the fries&sub were cold! So cold the taste didn't exist. Definitely, won't be order delivery from here no more. read more

I have ordered Geno's twice now. Both times it was perfect. I had delivery and pick up. I did pick up because it's right around the corner from my house and they charge a $4 delivery fee. Cost me as much foe the pizza and wings as it did for the fee and tip. Worth it it I really feel too lazy. The wings are great and their specials are inexpensive. I hope they stay good! read more

took an hour and forty five minutes for delivery and when they finally got close they called to ask for a gate code that was written in on the order. They are highly incompetent and the food was not great. DO NOT ORDER. sincerely, a delivery driver who actually does his job read more

Ordered a large 1 topping pizza and wings through grubhub and got an email saying delivery time was about an hour. Fine, we're a busy packing to move anyway. An hour's cool. When they didn't show up, I called grubhub, who called Geno's, and then texted me saying they'd been advised it would be another HOUR wait for our pizza. Now, grubhub has their own customer service issues, which have nothing to do with Geno's. But a TWO HOUR wait for a pizza and wings is ridiculous. read more

I just moved here from San Francisco and i wanted to pick up a quick salad and pizza to have as i relaxed and got settled in. Tonight I ordered a pizza and fries and a 2 liter. I'm really picky when it comes to food but Bridget assured me that I was making the right choice. Pepperoni & ground beef with garlic crust, phenomenal. Garlic fries, delicious. And to wash it all down with a 2 liter of coke! Bridget was right, food was amazing, & her customer service skills, better than more than half the places in Tempe. Good job Genos! Keep it upn read more

I am not one to review a place but this experience was so exceptionally unpleasant I feel the need to do so. I've been ordering pizza and wings late night from Geno's for a few years now. I would say for a light night spot it is clutch for that. Tonight I ordered tacos (seven total) for the first time and when I got home I noticed they forgot to make the quesadilla taco. I was already bummed because after we ordered guacamole and paid they came out later to tell us they were out. Although the refunded us it was kinda a buzz kill that we would be eating them without the guacamole. When I called in to let them know they forgot the quesadilla taco they were very rude and said that they had put it in the bag. Therefore calling me a liar. I'm a fair person and again I have never been upset enough to take the time to write a review, but after they rudely hung up the phone on me (Margaret specifically), I felt the need to do this. I will not be going back to Geno's unless I receive an apology from this company. And when I say I order a lot of food from there I'm talking about 100 a week worth. That's a lot of business to lose out on. read more

some of the ABSOLUTE BEST pizza and wings i've had in a long time!!! ordered very late, 2-3am, and had my expectations blown away, fast reasonable and now my weekly pizza spot. sweet spicy tangy wings OMG! keeping 100P, the rice krispy treats were well beyond sell date in my opinion, but the pizza/wings were so good i didn't even care. read more
