American Chop with chicken, avocado and barbecue ranch dressing. Delish!
    Tisha R.

Still loving Original ChopShop. I visited a couple locations a few time in the last year so accumulated several reward points. I redeemed some for a Teriyaki Chicken Bowl with brown rice and roasted vegetables without grilled mushrooms. Ate it for dinner. It was delicious. No pic. You gotta try it. :-) I ordered a Cold Buster juice. You can only redeem one free item. I'll have that in the morning. When I went to pick up my mobile order the super friendly manager, whose name slips me at the time, assisted me.

Got a takeout order of my favorite sandwich, chicken and prosciutto. Have gotten it several times and usually the chicken is very juicy and it has a good proportion of the fig jam, called fig mostarda, but this time, there wasn't that much on it and the chicken was on the dry side. So disappointed!! I also ordered a side of brussel sprouts. Totally inedible!! They were not only uncooked, but hard, dry, brown inside and couldn't even chew them. Terrible!!! Not sure what that was about!! Did have a free juice on my account, which saved the day!!! It was a new one called the golden heart. Really fresh and really good!!!

This location is on Tatum & Shea in the PV Gateway Plaza. I was on the go so I ordered in the app and picked my order up curbside. They have lots of outdoor seating as well. I didn't have to wait & the service was quick & super friendly! I ordered the Danish salad which has no meat if you're looking for that option. Ingredients were fresh & flavors blended well together; blue cheese crumbles with sliced apple, pear, fig, currents & nuts with a summery, tangy dressing. The nuts had a slight smoky taste which I don't like, otherwise, a very satisfying salad for when you're on the go! I always download apps to earn rewards & will try their other menu items!

This place is clean, beautiful and inviting. Oh, and the employees are friendly and food is delicious! They offer breakfast, protein shakes, sandwiches, salads and everything is healthy. We've had their muscle malt, and jacked up protein shakes with almond milk. Not too sugary and so good. Their sandwiches are piled with plenty of veggies and meat and super tasty. We really enjoy their sandwiches and wish they had a location on the west side of town. Oh, their toffee cookies are amazing so do yourself a favor and grab one! We will be back soon!

Chicken Prosciutto Sandwich (grilled chicken, prosciutto, fontina, arugula, fig mostarda, dijon, house bun)

I haven't been to an Original Chop Shop in years. I glad I tried again. I walked up to the order counter, Soto, super nice, welcomed me and was so patient while I contemplated on what to order on the extensive menu. The place seemed very clean and organized. I ordered the Ice Tea and the Chicken and Prosciutto Sandwich (grilled chicken, prosciutto, fontina, arugula, fig mostarda, dijon, house bun) to go. I filled my ice tea cup with 1 out of 4 types of ice tea offered. Waited in the pickup area for about 7 minutes and brought it home. All was intact (traveled well). The sandwich still hot and was delicious. A lot of chicken and prosciutto to my surprise and it came with a pickle. I would definitely come again. Atmosphere: nice, clean and simple. Service: excellent. Food: very good.

With several locations in the greater Phoenix area, you can try them! My first visit & I'm impressed. We tried a variety of options from vegan tofu curry bowl, turkey sandwich, Korean steak, & Pitaya bowl. I enjoyed my Pitaya bowl & the curry bowl with the sweet potato hash option. Service is friendly & quick! Plenty of indoor & outdoor seating. My only complaint is the protein smoothies are only available with Whey, no vegan protein. If they change that, they'd be a one stop shop!

Was in the area and was looking for a quick and healthy bite. I've been to a few other locations but this was my first time at this one. Love the variety and options here and the restaurant is always kept so clean. I ordered the citrus Thai salad but turned it into a wrap and added some chicken. A stacked wrap that was so filling and everything tasted fresh. The lemonade was delicious as always too! Definitely one of my go to spots.

Food is healthy eating without feeling like one is depriving themselves. Many of the dishes have an Asian flare. Both meat and vegetables are plentiful. Bowls were well sauced without drowning in it. Seating is available both inside and out. Fans and misting fans are available outside to help keep diners cool. Patio is dog friendly. Inside is clean. I liked the pattern of the tile floor. Service was super friendly. The person who took our order asked about our dog, who we brought with us. He then told me a little about his dog. Ordering may be done online, over the phone, or in person. This is a popular lunch spot for takeout orders. While we ate there, I could see the food traveling well.

Nice service, and good food. Solid lunch spot. Enjoyed the Grilled Steak sandwich, it had sirloin, carmelized onions, fontina, arugula, apple, mushrooms, creme, and sesame sauce, all on a soft seeded bun. Inside and outside seating.

Does Original Chop shop use organic fruits and veggies? If not all organic, do they at least use organic on the dirty dozen lists as strawberries, spinach, kale are covered in pesticides and neurotoxins if not organic and some of the most poisonous

We buy as much organic, whole ingredients as possible.

Our server was polite and let me try a couple wines before choosing, which I appreciated. We made a reservation and got seated quickly, even with it being Valentine's Day. Ambiance was dark and moody. We were the last ones out the restaurant, never felt rushed. Atmosphere was great for a date night. Bathrooms were clean, but the floor felt a little slippery. They're clearly pretty happy with themselves how they do things now. The decor is depressingly stuck in the '90's, which because of how small it is and how it's laid out could easily be fixed by updating just the barstools and artwork. Not gonna happen. The food is usually excellent, and they have a very good wine list. Prices are in line with a nice restaurant in this part of town. Just hope everything's to your liking because they have no interest in fixing it. Servers have been there forever, which can be helpful and entertaining...aaand inattentive if they don't already know you because they'd rather be talking it up with the regulars at the bar. I've been there when the service was on point and had a nice evening. I've also been there when they were too busy chatting with people they'd rather talk to to bring me what I ordered, then gave me attitude and a lecture when I asked it to be taken off the bill. The folks at Rusconi's obviously love what they do and how they do it. They seem interested in coming up with new dishes or specials to keep things fresh, and they execute them well. If you go, just know you're gonna get what you're gonna get.

It has a lovely ambiance, the food is good, and while we had a few issues with our food, the service was delightful. We also found some fun offers when booking through OpenTable. We arrived to Aftermath for an evening reservation on a Saturday night that we made through OpenTable. The parking spots in front were taken so we drove around to the back where there was plenty of parking. We found a parking spot right by the back door to the restaurant, which we had to pull to open (though that was easy to do). We then walked to the host stand and were seating right upon arrival. Our server Allyn was wonderful! She answered our many questions, gave some great recommendations, and made us feel right at home. We started out by ordering a cocktail and wanted something fruity, sweet, and made with vodka, and while nothing on the menu fit this request, we had Allyn work with the bartender to create a "Bartender's Choice" drink, which turned out to be a Blackberry Mint. It was exactly what we were hoping for. We then ordered Rigatoni Alla Vodka for my wife (consisting of imported rigatoni, Calabrian chili vodka sauce, parmesan, and basil) and an Aftermath Burger for me (consisting of 2 Arizona grass fed blend patties, velveeta, red onion, house pickles, toasted onion Kona bun, and Aftermath burger sauce with fries). We learned that the Rigatoni Alla Vodka has a spiciness level of 2 out of 5, though Allyn put in a request for my wife to get it at a 1 out of 5, and it was perfect. Our only issue is that when my dish arrived, the fries were actually cold and the burgers were barely lukewarm. It was busy at that time in the restaurant, and once I got the attention of someone to assist, they quickly brought out a replacement burger, which was delicious. The fries tasted almost as if they were nuked in a microwave, but they were still a good complement to the burger. Learn more about Aftermath at https://aftermathphoenix.com. They are open for lunch daily from 11-3 except for Friday and Saturday when they are open from 10-3. They are open daily for dinner from 4-10 PM. They have daily happy hour from 4-6 PM and live music every Sunday from 7-9 PM. Open Table also offers specials. The first time you book Aftermath through Open Table, you can get a drink for only a penny. After several visits, you then earn a free appetizer or dessert, and after several more visits, you earn a free burger. While we had the issue with the burger and fries temperature, Aftermath redeemed themselves by quickly replacing it, and otherwise, we had a very good experience. We do plan on visiting again in the near future.

Right on Camelback, in a little nook of a building with a book store/coffee shop attached. We entered and were seated immediately. If you read any of my previous reviews, you'll know that my wife loves oysters. Per usual, that where we started. We got the oyster and a bottle of prosecco. A few mimosas to start the day. My friend arrived almost exactly when the oysters and bottle came out. We chatted and perused the menu. We were in no rush as we drank through the first bottle. My wife got the pizza that was on the menu. I forgot what they called it, but it was good. Nice crust, a savory sauce, and just the right amount of cheese. My friend ordered avocado toast I believe or something very similar. She's a psycho path that runs 20 miles every morning so she was ready to take in carbs. She tore through it like a starving cheetah tears through a gazelle. I had an omelette which was pretty good, but nothing that knock me out of my seat. It could have used a bit of seasoning but in all decent. We ordered a second bottle and that is when their DJ began playing music. He played soft jazz which definitely was not the vibe we were looking for. None of the aforementioned mention brought this rating down to a three star review. It was all 4 star worthy accept the service was not great. Far from it actually. Don't worry I still tipped 20% as I feel it's a bare minimum, but he didn't deserve it. As I stated we were seated immediately, but it took our server nearly 15 minutes to even acknowledge us. I didn't know who it would be, but when he finally did all I could think is that he passed our table numerous times prior to stopping. Once he did there was a serious "I do not want to be here" vibe in his body language and tone. My friend who didn't arrive till the oysters and bottle were served missed that initial interaction but immediately noticed it. She an A type and wanted to complain to the manager. I got her to let it go. I know every has there days and this might have been his. Through out our stay here, he rarely checked in on us. As a matter of fact I believe we drank through each bottle before he checked in. This is the sole reason my rating went from a 4 to a 3. I hope the guy was ok, but I wish it could have been something he didn't bring to work with him. No pictures again. Sorry... I really just like to enjoy the moments with the people I am with and forget to take pictures.
