Some of the drinks are genuinely great, but it's a gamble. When a drink misses, it misses hard. Honestly, the taste leans more matcha shop than coffee shop, so if you're a coffee purist, stick to the classics and save the experiments for a day you're feeling brave. The staff are a gamble too. Some of the baristas have been wonderful: friendly, chatty, and great at steering me toward something I ended up loving. Then there was the time I got scolded for grabbing the "wrong" drink, which turned out to be the one I'd ordered. The vibe: Big windows keep the space bright but still cozy, which makes it a lovely spot to settle in. The music is either missing or so low it lands in that awkward zone where you can hear everyone's conversation. The layout is a bit congested up front around the counter and pickup area, but once you get past it, there's plenty of roomy seating. Bottom line: There's a lot of potential here, and the good days are really good. A little more consistency in the drinks and the service would make this a five-star spot. After a hiatus, I plan on coming back. Fingers crossed for a good-barista day!

We have been meaning to try Sweet Paris for quite some time, though we never managed to make it there...until recently. We enjoyed the overall experience, the ambiance of the restaurant, the service, the food itself, and the promotions via the app. We certainly look forward to returning again in the future. When we arrived on a Sunday evening, there were very few customers in the restaurant and no wait to go right up to the register to place an order. We both placed our orders. My wife ordered a Truffled Caprese savory crepe consisting of mozzarella, basil infused cherry tomatoes, and truffle oil. I ordered a seasonal savory crepe in the Chicken Piccata consisting of grilled chicken, mozzarella, capers, parsley, and a bright lemon butter sauce. Both were served with a fresh side salad. We both tried each other's crepes and thought both crepes were absolutely delicious! The meal was topped off with great service as the manager and serving staff took turns checking on us over and over throughout the meal. The seating was plentiful with many options of where to sit. There was also a parking structure right near the restaurant. Sweet Paris is a French creperie and cafe in Scottsdale. The restaurant showcases elegant chandeliers, a chic Parisian interior, and the aroma of freshly made crepes from their open kitchen. It is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. This location is open from 8 AM to 8 PM from Sunday through Thursday and then from 8 AM to 9 PM on Friday and Saturday. They serve sweet crepes, savory crepes, kids crepes, croffles, waffles, fresh bowls, breakfast crepes and eggs, soups, salads, paninis, hot drinks, milkshakes, signature drinks, and more. Visit their website at https://www.sweetparis.com to order online, view locations, to see the menu, to cater for a special event. Download the app and join the reward program to order ahead of pickup, collect whisks for rewards, get the inside scoop, and get a special birthday bonus. I had been saving my rewards for some time and ended up with two free crepes (one being for my recent birthday). I found you could make two orders to use two free crepe rewards. I certainly enjoyed this experience and will be back. I recommend it to anyone enjoying Parisian food, especially crepes. While the price is higher than I would have expected, it is easy to earn a rewards to offset the cost.

I stopped by on a Saturday evening for dinner. Free parking can be found in the parking garage, but since it's the mall, expect it to be pretty busy on the weekends. Ambiance (4/5): Sweet Paris gives off a welcoming cafe feel. Clean, modern, with white being the dominant color. Most of the seating is inside, with a few tables outside out front. Service (4.5/5): You order at the counter and they bring your food out to you. Friendly, efficient service. The manager went above and beyond by bringing me some water without me asking. Drinks (4/5): I had the Saint-Tropez frozen Mimosa which sounds like a vibe. It was with a nice mini umbrella and strawberry as a garnish. The cocktail was a little sweet for my taste, but solid. Food (3/5): I went with their limited time special: the chicken picatta savory crepe. Chicken picatta is one of my favorite Italian dishes so I couldn't say no. The crepe version was pretty solid. The crepe was filled with chunks of grilled chicken and mushrooms. Lemon caper sauce on top. Outside of savory crepes, they also have sweet crepes, waffles, and more. Crepes are served with a small side salad. My crepe was pretty good, but here's my gripe with Sweet Paris... portion sizes. I feel like Sweet Paris' target demographic are females, which if true, the portion sizes are okay. If you're a grown man, it's not going to be filling. Maybe if there were heartier sides than a small salad? You can always order two crepes, but that's going to cost you $30+.

Breakfast with ALL the good vibes! We finally stopped by Original Breakfast House, and I'm so glad we did! We ordered the Loco Moco and the Breakfast Chimichanga, and everything was SO good! 5/5 for us! The Breakfast Chimichanga was probably my favorite -- so savory, flavorful, and delicious! It was packed with all those yummy breakfast flavors and had that perfect hearty, comforting feel. And the Loco Moco was seriously delicious! A juicy burger patty served over rice and topped with a rich, savory gravy and eggs -- basically the ultimate comfort-food breakfast. Every bite was hearty, flavorful, and SO satisfying. We also tried the French toast, and WOW! Sweet, delicious, and the perfect little treat to round everything out. But beyond the food, the vibes here are SO cool! The whole place has such a fun, unique atmosphere, and they even have a bunch of awesome merch that had me wanting to take something home. The customer service was amazing, too! I especially loved seeing the owner walking around from table to table saying hi and checking in with everyone. That personal touch really stood out and made the experience feel so welcoming and personable. We had such a great first visit and already know we'll be back because there are SO many more things on the menu I want to try! read more

This breakfast place serves great food at realistic prices and brings it to you with pleasant, hospitable service. My initial thought before arriving was that this place might end up being a bad clone of the Original Pancake House in Scottsdale. I was thrilled to see a menu that is decidedly progressive and interesting that in some ways out-shines the OPH. The brioche cinnamon rolls are absolutely out of this world. If these rolls were the only saving grace, this place would still be a winner in my book. But the omelettes (she had the Popeye sans bacon and onion; I had the Chili Cheese) were perfectly cooked (slightly more-done than other places) and came with sides that included the gluten free banana pancakes and the chocolate chip pancakes. Even the hash-browns were crispier and more thoughtfully prepared than at some other places. Add to all this that they serve the Valley's own Cortez Coffee and genuinely freshly-squeezed OJ, and you have yourself one of the best places in PHX for breakfast. I would be thrilled to see what variation OBH would make on OPH's famous Apple Pancake. Gluten free? Hint hint... read more

Original Breakfast House has quickly become a favorite spot for my family, and for good reason. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with the warm, personal touch of the owner personally welcoming guests, doubling as a gracious host. The cozy California coast surfing decor adds to the inviting atmosphere. One thing my daughter absolutely loves the custom California hot sauce, which she would buy by the gallon if she could! It's a testament to the flavorsome experience this place offers. And don't worry about bringing cash - they've got you covered with a no-fee cash machine right on site. Now, onto the food - it's simply phenomenal. The extensive menu boasts a variety of dishes leaning towards those delicious California flavors. And the baked goods? You absolutely must try the cinnamon rolls; they're heavenly. In summary, Original Breakfast House is more than just a restaurant; it's an experience. With its friendly owner, delightful decor, mouthwatering food, and unique touches like the custom hot sauce and convenient cash machine, it's no wonder it's become a staple in our dining repertoire. read more

Front of House - Friendly and provided accurate waiting times. Beverages - Coffee was serviceable. Water tasted like it came out of a hose. Food - Toast was a good higher quality bread and the jam was better than average, but toast was cold. Good hash browns and over medium eggs were cooked properly. You could tell that the bacon had been cooked long before we arrived as it was both cold and overly crispy. The waitress was very helpful and nice. She brought beverages quickly, the food came out very fast, and she did check on us multiple times. Overall, the restaurant was clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I just think the food fell short. I do not mind waiting an extra 5 minutes for our food to ensure that the bacon is cooked fresh. I debated on 3 stars since there were many positives, but ultimately, if you are a breakfast place, and you are screwing up bacon, it is an unforgivable offense. I would give it another try if I was in the area because of all the positives. Could have just been an off day. read more

This place is a total gem! I was on the hunt for a fun new breakfast spot and stumbled across The Original Breakfast House here on Yelp. There was a crowd waiting outside (always a good sign), but the wait was only about 30 minutes--not bad at all. Inside, the vibe is awesome--tons of surf-inspired decor that instantly made me feel like I was on a mini vacation in California. Super laid-back and inviting. The menu is packed with mouthwatering options, and we went with a mix of sweet and savory. Let me just say... everything was ridiculously good. The flavors were on point, and the portions hit the spot. Service was fast and super friendly, which only added to the great experience. Heads up: they're cash-only, but there's an ATM inside and no fee, which is super convenient. I'll definitely be back to try their pastries--the homemade pop tart and cinnamon roll looked absolutely insane. Already craving my next visit! read more

If you are going to take phone in orders days ahead for Mother's Day pickups then you should have an organized system in place. It looks like you took any and all orders for 9:30 pickup and of course you had none of them ready. Instead - being greedy as your owner is - you waited until the person arrived to pickup - paid - and then you started cooking the food. I guess this was the only way you could do this since your company god know why does not take credit cards of all things... I have now been waiting here for 30 monitors for food I ordered 2 days ago. So I have to sit here exposed to all these people in the middle of a pandemic, not a single one of your staff is wearing a mask - none ... I would not be surprised if you spread this virus to hundreds of people today thru your disorganization and poor practices and lack of planning and pure greed. Shame on you. read more

We love the OG Breakfast! We've been several times before and I will admit that I was disappointed on our last visit; however it was redemption this trip! I am happy I had the plain pancake to gauge the deliciousness of them. Even though it was hard to make the decision because they have some insanely delicious options.. What is even better is that it came with the omelette I had ordered. Which not to detract from the awesomeness of their pancakes... But their omelettes are amazing as well. They are about three inches thick. I believe they have to add some of their amazing pancake batter to the mix to make their omelettes so thick and fluffy because I think they were standard three egg omelettes. Maybe I am wrong, but who cares because they are so delicious. This place even blends their own cheeses to ensure quality! Love at first bite! read more

We got here and it was packed, the line was deep out the door, we decided to stick it out and man i'm glad we did. They run a fast, fun and smooth business, I was amazed how fast it went. One thing I really appreciate is how convenient they make everything. From the water dispensers to the utensils, condiments, and even to-go boxes, everything is set out and easy to grab. I also love the counter-style ordering because the food always comes out quickly, while you can still sit down and enjoy the space without feeling rushed. The outdoor seating is probably my favorite part. The entire property has such a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere and feels like somewhere you actually want to spend time rather than just grab a meal and leave. There are also so many unique gifts to browse while you're there, which makes the whole experience even better. Between Luci's, the ice cream parlor, the tavern, the shops, and all of the outdoor space, there's so much in one place. It's also a great setup for events or getting a group together. Amazing food, beautiful atmosphere, great drinks, and so much to do. Definitely one of those places I'm always happy to come back to!

CHILAQUILES UNFORTUNATELY WERE A MISS!…read more I will preface this by saying everything else was very good, so I will come again and update my review at that time. I came here for a breakfast date with a friend. They have a decent size parking lot. Upon entering, there is a great outdoor space with tons of tables, many with shade. Your order at a counter inside. I got Chilaquiles and a matcha, and my friend got a burger. Unfortunately my chilaquiles were the worse I've ever had! It seemed like store bought chips with sauce thrown on top, not fried in sauce at all. And the menu describes it as having pulled pork but these were chunks of meat. The provolone on top was a slice melted, no shredded cheese. It just didn't hit. My Mexican friend said the sauce wasn't very good either, I thought it was okay. I didn't even eat half of my meal. I will say, his burger was very delicious. Super juicy, and fries were cooked well. I thoroughly enjoyed my matcha as well. The chilaquiles were just so bad that I can't give a higher rating at this time. Since the burger was so good, I'd love to see what the other dishes taste like.

If I were to come in the middle of the summer might feel a little differently, but it definitely wouldn't kill the vibe it just would be h well imperfect. We arrived about 7:45 and by the time we were leaving at 9 it was getting pretty busy on a Saturday so recommend arriving before 8:30 the latest. Looking forward to coming back this definitely is a return spot for me and my ladies as this was a nice daddy daughter breakfast date

Manager Kaj greeted us at the register, took our order, and once again went above and beyond with his warm, attentive service. The space was clean, vibrant, and inviting. Highly recommend for a special breakfast.

Thanks to all of the great yelp photos, the winner of my "tournament of decision" was the Mexican Benedict. From there, I was able to step to the side to order and iced mocha before sitting down wherever we wanted. I think this is a great wrinkle because the food comes out quick and seats for most in line are available, like clock work. No one was standing around waiting for a seat even though the line was to the door when w got there. The Mexican Benedict was amazing, with a spicy chorizo along with the usual. I found myself savoring every bite, and the flavor was consistent. The manager was warm and informative to everyone eating, and we felt so enjoyable while we ate good food. Such a smooth and pleasant time before the day had turned epic. Such a great place to fuel up with good quality food and brunch energy! Well done, Phoenix!!

I love this cafe! It's the perfect spot for breakfast or lunch (I wish it could be for dinner, too,…read morebut they close at 2PM or 3PM, depending on the day). Everything in here is adorably Owl themed, and you can purchase almost every item on display. It's kinda cool. I imagine the owners picking up anything owl-themed they ever see while out thrifting as this constantly-refreshed selection of decor in their cafe. There were a ton of owls, and it was hard not to buy multiple ones. Tons of parking outside. Delicious food with large portions. They don't skimp on the veggies or proteins, so you can get a really healthy meal here if you want. They carry multiple Vegan substitutes and even have a full Vegan menu portion if that's you. Honestly, if you're into them, their french fries and ranch (not even on the menu) was killer. Some of the better french fries and ranch I've ever had. All of their omelettes were delicious, and we never left here even sorta hungry. Service is super friendly and food and drinks come out quickly. It's staffed by college kids, but it's easy to forget as everybody is efficient, friendly, and on top of things. With Phoenix's water concerns, they're a bit stingy here with the water. They provide smaller cups and try to refill as needed. I saw a few customers carrying their own water bottles to keep up with water. I really wouldn't have even minded except during busy hours (and I ordered spicier food than I intended), it was a bit of a problem. I wasn't in love with the Espresso Owltini; it was a carajillo - not an Espresso Martini. But their $10 cocktails give you options.

I was expecting something more substantial in terms of breading and crispiness, but they ended up feeling fairly average. The sauce also did not really complement the dish, so it was not particularly memorable. For my main, I had the breakfast burrito, which was huge--definitely shareable for two people. It had good flavor and was stuffed with chorizo, scrambled eggs, bacon, avocado, potatoes, black beans, tomatoes, onions, ranchero sauce, and pico de gallo. Service was understandably limited given how busy it was, so don't expect much attention during peak hours. Overall, it is a solid spot for brunch if you don't mind the crowds.

Also, the service and waitress was so kind and helpful so that also was a plus! My friend ordered the breakfast bowl and hardly Touched it. I went for the gluten free pancake and the texture and flavor was so bad. It was flat, mushy and not fluffy at all. My son got the kids pancakes and he also did not finish them, and he's a huge fan of pancakes. Coffee was okay, but no flavored creamer. It was def a busy place and again the interior was great and maybe better for cocktails.
