Most massage therapists can't go deep but these ladies are strong and then they walk on your back which gives the pressure I like. One thing I don't care for is that it seems that they have a routine of massage and don't really work the place I want them to so I have to remind them of my problem area so they give it more attention. When you make an appointment with them, they will text you reserved stalls that you can park in as sometimes the visitor stalls are taken up which is nice that you don't have to worry about it. Overall this place is clean and the people are friendly and it's a fair price which is why I have come here multiple times.

And the masseuses were so transparent and said they weren't certified for that, but will try will their best to accommodate. My MIL's masseuse asked a bunch of questions. And then we got our massages... My MIL seriously loved hers. She said her knee felt so much better. And it was way better than a Thai massage. So, MIL approved... and did I mention I absolutely loved mine???

As soon as you check in for your appointment, there are forms you will have to complete and while you do that, you are provided with a warm face towel and soothe the nerves and to begin your relaxation treatment. The staff member that greeted me was very warm and welcoming. You are offered a luxurious robe and slippers to wear during the entirety of your spa treatment. Prior to entering your treatment room, they ask you to wait in a beautifully curated and super cute room with a water dispenser and mixed nuts for you to enjoy while you wait. It was a whole vibe with low lighting , modern touches and such comfortable lounge chairs. Donna was the female who served me. She seemed very knowledgeable about how to better care for my skin and was thorough with each step she took. After your treatment, you have the option to take a nice, warm bath in their state of the art, delta showers and help yourself to the products in the bathroom. I can't wait to visit again :)

After trying several different places, I finally found a massage studio that I like -- Island…read moreTherapy. It's not "spa-like," so if that's what you're looking for, this isn't the place. However, if you want a solid massage in a studio that's convenient and clean, I think you'll like Island Therapy. I've been seeing Mai for about a year. She's a very skilled massage therapist -- don't let her small frame fool you, she's strong and really knows how to work out knots. She's also an intuitive therapist; she always seems to know exactly where I'm hurting. I should mention that Mai's massages lean therapeutic rather than relaxing, so if you're looking for something more soothing, let her know beforehand. I have an old injury, and her massages have made a real difference -- I used to have a constant, dull ache, but since seeing her once a month, I haven't had any issues. Booking is done through text, and I usually hear back within 20-30 minutes -- very convenient. I also think her prices are very reasonable, especially given her level of skill. I once saw a massage therapist who charged $350 for a two-hour massage -- great massage, but not sustainable long-term. Island Therapy's prices are reasonable enough that I can keep up with monthly massages. As for the space, the office is in a nondescript building, After you book your massage they'll send you instructions on entering the secured building. Parking is free and convenient.

The massage did not help me whatsoever and I would not recommend this place if you are looking or needing a deep tissue massage. She also provided instructions after each item session (my package included facility use, scrub, massage, and facials). I got to the facility ~30 mins before my appointment. An employee walked me through the facility and provided instructions. I used the hot tub and plunge pool before the scrub. After my session was done with Mina, I had lunch with friends. We both got deep tissue massages and they placed us both behind one curtain area on two beds for a "couples massage". My lady was great and really kneaded deeply and got into my muscles. One thing I didn't like was in the middle of the massage, my husband's masseuse was trying to see if he wanted some essential oil... but she didn't mention that it would be an add-on or extra, so I spoke up asking if it was extra because I saw it on the price list. It would've been an extra $30!! Deducting a star because I didn't like that feeling of shadiness, and I think their add-on prices are ridiculous.

People forget that unless they have a policy for this, we're not obligated to give cash. Anyway, massage way too rough, I get a massage once a month and I've been doing it for years, so I know when someone just doesn't know how to do it. The moment comes to pay, my masseuse wasn't happy when I said I was paying on card, but I told her I had the tip in cash. I gave her $20 and asked for change. I've been in the restaurant industry for 11 years. Let's not forget tips ARE NOT MANDATORY, and a should be what the customer believes fair. She looked hosted and started complaining IN MY FACE about the tip, then out of nowhere she pretends to not have cash to give me back. So you're telling me that a place that's adamant on getting their payments in cash, doesn't have cash to give back? I started getting frustrated because she was being rude and ungrateful, I told her to keep it. If you are so desperate for it, be my guest, keep it. She comes out and says "I don't have cash but I have an orange". Excuse me??? What if I had given her an orange instead of money??doing this strategy in order to keep the amount of tip that they want is petty, embarrassing and unprofessional. Please stop supporting businesses that complain to the customer about the tips they're getting. As I said, I've been in the restaurant industry for 11 years, not once have I complained about a tip, it's unacceptable and unprofessional. Go somewhere else, don't waste your time here.
