I've been seeing Ina for deep massage for over a year now, I was referred here by the VA for appointments for sciatica, I'm not on any pain medication thanks to the work Ina has done, she is very strong and knowledgeable on her craft, the place is clean with very nice views, if you are a veteran schedule massage appointments with her you won't regret it, highly respectful and professional, unlike some of the facilities the VA pays for she actually does the work and goes further to help the Vets, looking forward for my next appointment read more

I've been looking to find a good, reputable place for a massage and one of my friends recommended Vasa Thai massage. My friend has been going to Ina the owner for over ten years so I thought I would give the place a try and he was right! This is a very clean and professional establishment the owner Ina is very knowledgeable in her craft and it's also great that Ina is strong. Helping me to stay flexible is a workout in its self and Ina can recognize where I would need more attention to release a knot or just get the circulation flowing through tight areas that need it. If your looking for a very professional, clean, and knowledgeable place to get a Thai massage, then I strongly recommend Vasa Thai Massage and the owner Ina. The only reason I hesitated to write this review earlier is that I'm worried its going to get too crowded! I've been to many places for massages and I highly recommend Vasa because its a great value, clean, amazing massages, open 9a-9p and convenient! They are in downtown and they will validate for parking in the bldg 3$ with validation. Located in Century Square its the Square Shaped Mirrored Building on the corner of Bishop and Beretania, coming down Bishop street the parking is on your right hand side and goes downward, take a ticket, elevator to the Lobby and go to Suite 1610. As soon as you enter the lights are dim and its relaxing. I called a few hours before the appointment and they were able to accommodate us. We had the couples massage which was $120.00 for 2 people for 1 hour, however they have a special and its discounted to $110.00 for 2 people for 1 hour. That's a great deal! The 2 therapists we had were Jenny and Pam both were excellent they asked what areas we wanted to focus on and always checked that the pressure was good for us. They use a combination of massage and stretching techniques that seriously make your entire body feel like JELLO afterwards. For men who think that petite women can't possibly put enough pressure on you if you're a big guy...trust me you are wrong, these ladies mean business and if you can handle it they will ask if you would like your back walked on and they are good at it! They even have poles in the ceiling to hold on to, but they usually dont need them. I highly recommend Vasa! great find for Thai Massages! read more

Booked a reservation, arrived on time only to not get a response when I rang the doorbell. Parking was pretty difficult as it is due to downtown traffic. Had to pay 3.50 for the parking garage for nothing. Would've appreciated it if they called me to cancel my appointment instead of ghosting me. read more

I have been going here for over a year and a half now, and I absolutely love it. I have even bought gift certificates for family and friends. Once you step out of the elevators onto the 16th floor, you can smell the aromas of all the oils. The facility is very clean, super comfortable and the massage therapists are professional and great at what they do. Just communicate with your therapist regarding what pressure intensity you prefer and you will enjoy your massage. I've come here after races and my therapist even stretched me out at the end of my session. Another thing I really love is the view of the city from all of the massage rooms. It's so peaceful above all the hustle and bustle. After your session, they offer you tea or water. I personally like the tea. They have mini chocolate snacks which are usually good especially if you go at the end of a work day and haven't gotten around to eating. They also have a loyalty stamp card for each visit. They validate parking in the Century plaza garage to cover your time there. If you go over your validation period it's $3 for every half hour over, so try to get out im time. And weekend parking in the garage is free. I have always had good experiences here. I highly recommend this business to everyone looking for a great Thai massage. read more

I had a scheduled massage at my usual place I've been going to for some time. But for family emergency they needed to cancel and did not know when they could accommodate. I was in desperate need of a massage after some heavy training, so I turned to Yelp and found this place in my area. Now I feel guilty that I may not be going back to my other place. Read the reviews and everything is spot on about cleanliness, views, customer service, easy appointments. But what really made my experience was Nancy. She was able to find all my knots and kinks and work them out. She did the walking on the back, deep tissue, trigger point,stretching/back crack all with firm pressure from start to finish. I always see people saying "best massage I ever had" and it usually causes me to question those reviews authenticity. This for me has to be a top 3. Thanks Nancy! Tiu was so awesome. I plan to come back here regularly. My neck had been hurting/stiff for weeks. After seeing her for a 90 minute treatment, I have NO neck and shoulder pain anymore. Besides the soreness from the deep work she did! She really went for my knots and softened them!! But told me they also do less deep work for anyone who doesn't like that style. I needed strong work and she was very intuitive and knew I could take it, but she checked in often. I am SO happy I found this place. Really great if you have tightness from overcompensating/bad posture, tech-use or sports. read more

Maybe the best massage I've ever paid for. Combines deep tissue massage with stretching. This was also the first time I've had masseuses step on me during the massage but it was perfect for getting a lot of pressure onto those tight muscles. Highly recommend this place! read more

I've had massages before, but Vasa takes it to a whole other level. A relaxing environment, extremely clean, and professional service by Eloise. She does the typical massage and also includes stretching and walking on your back (if you'd like). I've done two 90 minute sessions and I won't go anywhere else now. I've been having tightness in my hip flexors and lower back, so being as I was in town, I decided to treat myself to a massage. Vasa Thai Massage was less than half a mile away and the reviews spoke highly of the facility. I cannot tell you how impressed I was from the get go with this facility. I was welcomed by a friendly massage therapist where she led me to my room. The ambiance throughout is beautiful and relaxing and the room has a beautiful downtown Honolulu/ mountain view. I chose the Swedish massage because my right hip is too tender for a deep tissue massage at the moment. This was truly such a wonderful experience that I purchased a couple's massage for my parents. I will definitely be back, but hopefully my hips will be less tight and I can get a deep tissue massage next time. Thank you for a great massage! read more

By far the best place that I've had massages at. I took my mom and mother in law for mother's day and I've gone there several times and I would give them a 10 for all the great services we've had. It was my first time making appointment with Vasa Thai Massage! Easy to make an appointment and the staff actively responded the call or text messages. From last year Thai massage in Waikiki was dramatic and aggressive, I must say. I was a little nervous about how my muscles will get break into jelly at Vasa Thai. But Misa made sure I was comfortable and relaxed. She adjusted the level of pressure according to my liking. At the end of the session, I felt more relaxed and had a good memory of Thai stretching treatment. I also noticed she didn't rush my session. That's a plus. read more

Great massage. Have had authentic massages and Thailand and the one I got here is equivalent-excellent. Very intuitive in terms of where I needed work. I have a lot of nerve damage that comprises the way I do daily activities and she really was able to release much of the tendon tightness without hurting me. Great location for those working living downtown- worth the drive regardless and the validate parking. read more

Where do I start?!! Excellent Excellent Excellent! I took my husband for an early Valentine's Day gift and we had a couples massage before getting on our cruise ship for the week. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we felt so relaxed!! If you have never had a Thai massage before then you should make an appointment and get one by these lovely professional ladies! We had a room with a nice view of the city, I think we were up on the 25th floor. The room was clean and comfortable. They actually walk on your and use their feet, arms and hands to massage all your aches and pains away. I had back surgery about a year ago so I opted to not have her walk on my back but rather just my legs. It felt great! They also use light stretching techniques to help with any tension spots you have. You tell them if you want more pressure and they do! After the massage they take a hot towel and wipe off your back, they actually sit you up on the bed and stretch your back out. I thought I might be a little sore the next day but I wasn't. I felt like a million bucks! Definitely going back there the next time we are down in Waikiki!! read more

I was so glad that I chose to try out this place for my 40 bday. The place is so clean and pretty. I tried the body scrub and massage combo. It was so good. It's my first time trying body scrub. My skin feels so smooth after. She even turned on the shower and got it ready for me. We have tried so many Thai massage places I think I just had the best Thai massage. Eloisa is the best masseuse I have ever had so far. OMG. As soon as I finish it, I book a massage for my hubby right away. I can't stop talking about this place to my friends. Ok, so this would have been a five star review except for one thing. I don't like to give five star reviews unless everything is perfect. The staff was pleasant and the place was neat and well put together. I was greeted when I came in and didn't have to wait past the time of my appointment. The massage therapist didn't talk quite as much as I like, but for most people I'm sure that's not an issue. All in all a great experience and a definite go back place. read more

The best massage I have had in years! (And I have had a lot)! I booked the body scrub and 60 min massage. The facility is just like photos, very clean and relaxing. As a very athletic person (with sore muscles) and a frequent traveler I rarely find a massage that can truly relieve all my sore spots. I saw Wade and walked away feeling like a whole new person! The view of the Pali mountains is AMAZING!! The atmosphere and welcoming nature of the staff will put you at ease as soon as you walk in. My wife and I came in together to take advatage of their discounted price for a couples massage. The room was not crowded and closed in like most places. There was enough space for both therapists to give us both amazing massages. If your in town, this is the place to go for a massage! read more

It was my first time here. I just finished my 90 minutes massage and it felt so good! Been having so much tightness on my upper back and shoulder lately, decided to book a massage here and it was the best decision. I liked that they are really flexible with appointments. I called just yesterday to book a massage for today and I was accommodated. Came inside and was warmly greeted. The place was neat and serene. As soon as you enter, you'll feel relaxed right away. I was led to my room and waited for my massage therapist. She was so nice and made sure that I am 100% comfortable. She made sure that my body parts are not being over exposed. I liked that before she started, she asked me if I want her to focus on certain area. Told her my back and shoulder. She really worked well on those areas. She checks every now and then on how is the pressure and if I am okay. Too bad that I forgot to ask her name. She really did an excellent job on doing the most relaxing massage that I had in my life. She was gentle yet the pressure hurts so good. After the massage, she wiped my back with hot towel while massaging it too, then I was offered tea or coffee. This place will be my go to massage from now on. read more

My name is Eloisa I have been studying and practicing massage therapy for twenty three years. I was trained in Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and at the company of Banyan Tree which is rated in the top ten in the world for massage! I have been licensed and practiced massage in Philippines for eight years Guam for seven years and California for one year and have now opened my own spa here in Hawaii. I'd rather she have massaged my traps/upper back like I had mentioned. My neck and back are still sore today. The search for a massage place that will focus on areas is still ongoing. It seems they all have a script that never is deviated from.

She looked at my back and could immediately see I was side sleeper. She gently asked if two places on my back were in pain - and she was right!!! She recommended both Lomi Lomi and shiatsu combo techniques and would gently warn me if something would be a little painful (it wasn't - but a little tender). She also made recommendations on my body that had low circulation (Were cold spots on my body) and how to mitigate with heating pad etc. I've never had such a thoughtful masseuse. She explained each body holds different areas of stress that can manifest as pain/knots and she loved to figure out what a client needed - like a puzzle. It had been sealed before and peeled open, and it was wrinkled. My thought was that I hope the tip made it to Young in full. They have a nice garden in the front. They sell food, but I didn't try it. I ordered a coffee, which I was able to sip on after being in the steam rooms and hot spa. I would have given a 5 star based on the service and young alone, but the used envelope kept me from doing that.
