Over the years, I have been to a number of different massage locations in the south shore of Oahu…read morebut so far, Aloha Massage Spa seems to be the best one for me in my opinion. Service is great and they do offer a variety of specials throughout the week. They are open daily from 10:00 AM - 11:00 PM so there are generally plenty of open slots and you might even be able to do a walk-in based on availability. I usually like to book mine in advance to ensure I get the days and times that fit my schedule. They are located on the 2nd floor of McCully Shopping Center and parking in both their ground level lot and basement is free. Upon entering Aloha Massage Spa, it's a cutely decorated small lobby and reception area. The guy who did my 2-hour massage was great and took me into a private room that it dimly lit and he certainly helped loosen up my tight muscles in my body. Just let them know about the pressure throughout the session and you will be fine. As expected, you'll feel better and sore at the same time (but in a good way)! At the end of your session, there are chocolate bars and water offered. I paid $130 in cash plus tips to the massage guy. If you pay by credit card, there is a $5 surcharge. I plan on being back soon and will bring my girlfriend for a couples massage!

I didn't realize this business has been around for at least 7 years, based on all the Yelp and…read moreGoogle reviews going all the way back. I only knew the place existed because I pass it nearly every day on Kapi'olani. I'm assuming they had re-located from a different address. As soon as I saw the sign go up, I was intrigued. The windows are all covered up with shades so my husband and I immediately joked that it was probably a front for another type of "business." Over time, I noticed that newer reviews started rolling into their Google Map page. One of the reviews indicated that our joke was not far from the truth, but it was one negative review out of dozens of positive reviews. I decided to check them out today since I was in need of a massage. I called 15 minutes in advance and told me to come in. When I arrived, I tried to open the double doors that appear to be the front entrance. However, the doors were locked. Just as I was about to give them a call, I heard the door unlocking and then eventually opened up. It turned out those doors lead to their employees' area; the front entrance is actually towards the back where the parking lot is. Because I live nearby, I had walked over and I wasn't even aware that there was a parking lot behind that set of buildings. Asian-owned massage places are a dime a dozen in Honolulu, and I've tried about 10 places so far. But that's only because I have a regular place that I like and keep going back to, so they remain my standard. Unfortunately, the massage I got just did not meet my standards. The technique that the therapist used was a mix of everything: Swedish, deep tissue, Thai, stretching, and she even used her nails at one point. Although they have reflexology listed on their price menu, what I got was just a foot massage. Albeit, a good foot massage. The best part of the entire massage was when she worked on my feet and calves. It felt like she had found every single little muscle in my foot and worked out all the kinks. Based on my own experience and reviews from other folks, I recommend this place for foot massages!

She always asks if pressure is ok. This past time I went I was in so much pain - she can tell before I say something! She was kind and attentive but worked very hard!! Many appointments went good. A couple went bad. Last appointment I was in with bf, both masseuse were talking non stop. Loud. Laughing. Talking. For the entire hour. I was so upset, i had to stop the massage before it was done. It's so fucking rude. Please note, this was not the first time, just the loudest and longest time. Other times I went, either my company didn't mind, nor wanted to speak up, or I simply didn't want to speak up because it's awkward. But imagining sitting there for your whole massage wondering when they would stop screaming!? Also note- one time i called and ask how much it would be extra to focus on my shoulders, the man on the phone said no extra charge, but when i finished my massage the lady said it was $40 extra. I asked for 1.5 hours, she said NO because she worked too hard on my back. Fucking rude how are they still open. Don't go to their sister location up the street either. I expected the owner to reach out and apologize for his employees behavior. It's been about 2 to 3 weeks. No one's calling me so I'm leaving this review cheap ass massage place.

They're located at 1188 Bishop St Ste 1005, Honolulu, HI 96813, and complimentary parking is available with a confirmed appointment, which is such a plus in this area. It's also a perfect location for anyone working in downtown Honolulu or spending time nearby. Booking is very easy -- you can schedule by text at (808) 219-3169, which makes everything simple and convenient. I've been to many massage spots across O'ahu, and this one truly stands out -- I've already been coming back multiple times now. Toni is upbeat, professional, and has a calm, grounded presence that helps you relax right away. She listens closely, checks in, and tailors the massage to what your body actually needs -- not a one-size-fits-all routine. I left feeling lighter, more restored, and noticeably better. One of my favorite moments was lying on the table, looking out at the greenery and city view, and even seeing a rainbow appear outside -- such a peaceful, unexpected touch that made the whole experience feel even more special. This is a true gem of a local Honolulu business, and I'm so grateful for the care from Toni and Haiqi. I'm a repeat customer for a reason. Still searching for the massage place you'll actually come back to? This is it.

I woke up with a migraine and while perusing the treatment options scalp treatment and head massage sounded so therapeutic. I had called on the off chance they had an opening and were able to accommodate me an hour later. Within about a 8-10 min walking distance from my hotel it was centrally located and easily accessible if staying near ala Moana/waikiki. My favorite part of getting a hair cut is the head massage; so when I received my 90 min treatment + massage while lying comfortably (and not awkwardly balancing my neck in a hair chair) it felt like the epitome of luxury and bliss. I left feeling rejuvenated, my hair was soft, clean and silky. But best of all I was migraine free. I can't recommend WEN spa enough. I am already looking forward to going back.
