I grew up with Chinese massages which promote blood circulation and is very healing. I love seeing the diversity of clients at Zudao. During my visits (which tend to be monthly), I've seen clients of all races, ethnicities, gender, and ages (except for minors, of course). The receptionist/manager speaks fluent English so communication is not a problem even though all the employees are Mandarin speakers. They all know enough English to get the job done well. It's located across from the Convention Center. The same woman at the front desk was polite, efficient, and friendly! Later, we laid face down on the padded table, then turned over and got a scalp massage. My therapist was very strong. I felt like my back was bruised... haha! One of the reviews indicated that our joke was not far from the truth, but it was one negative review out of dozens of positive reviews. I decided to check them out today since I was in need of a massage. I called 15 minutes in advance and told me to come in. When I arrived, I tried to open the double doors that appear to be the front entrance. However, the doors were locked. Just as I was about to give them a call, I heard the door unlocking and then eventually opened up. It turned out those doors lead to their employees' area; the front entrance is actually towards the back where the parking lot is. Because I live nearby, I had walked over and I wasn't even aware that there was a parking lot behind that set of buildings. Asian-owned massage places are a dime a dozen in Honolulu, and I've tried about 10 places so far.
