Due to events, I had to shift my session and she was flexible to accommodate me. I needed 90 minutes of traditional sports + Thai stretching to work out my issues (tightness). During the session, my body was stretched, kneaded, and massaged. A bit painful at time (which Nancy asked if I was ok - to which I replied, keep going). The 90 minutes quickly passes - warm towels to wipe off the oils/Tiger Balm signals the end of the session. The end result? A more relaxed body not in pain, and my tight shoulders and IT bands (legs) not as tight. Located in the InterState building, Nancy provides validation for parking. Definitely a repeat session when I visit Hawaii.

But to get a solid, firm, stretchy, professional massage that hits not only your body, but legs and arms as well, this is the place to try! I suppose it is like wine - everyone have their own preferences and styles, but I think Nancy is one of the best. Nice, friendly service. Parking ticket is covered by Nancy. A 1-star reduction is I wish there was a shower. But everything else A-okay!

In her spa adventures years ago, she received a massage from Kara at International Orange and thought it was the best massage she has ever had. Eventually, she tracked Kara down to her own private practice in Berkeley and has been paying to go see her out of her own pocket. Well, that sold me. You would rather pay to see Kara then go to another spa on a freebie? Wow. So I have been seeing Kara semi-regularly for over a year now. She helped me through a very serious and stressful health crisis with her intuitive body work. She somehow knows what parts of you need work without really saying much of anything. But the really cool part is the integration of reiki - which it is still a total trip to me. I have had reiki before and never really felt anything. At the risk of sounding like a new age freak, I can only describe what I have experienced as "building heat" or "balls of energy". Not in a theoretical way. In a 'WTF, a weird warm ball of energy just shot up my entire spine?!??!' Then Kara says something soothing like "Oh, did you feel that? Neat, huh?". Um. Yeah. Neat. I have now referred several friends to her and they all had amazing experiences. Kara is a really great body worker/ healer/ masseuse and she is a really terrific woman. Go try her. You won't be sorry.

Ive been to many different massage places and left feeling better but some areas were missed. Nalani addressed all areas and even places I had not mentioned. I request for deep tissue (hard). She has a different style from other massage places but I wouldn't have it any other way. I was so happy at the end of my massage I had to hug her. I felt so good I couldn't stop smiling all day. Definitely going again and stopped my long search for a massage therapist.

These guys do Lomi Lomi, Swedish, Thai Massage, Reflexology, Reiki Healing also Fascia stretching. They are currently in the works of accepting Insurance and Workers Comp but the hourly rate is very reasonable for those who don't have any insurance and just want a great massage. I've gotten work done from Joe for the most part he's phenomenal. He always does a combo massage customized to the current pain I'm experiencing at the time of massage. Love that he's so passionate about what he does and really takes the time to walk me through everything he's doing. Also checks in to see if pressure is ok? Sometimes I even fall asleep especially during his Lomi Lomi so relaxing you'll be hooked! His sister Ina is just as amazing you immediately feel comfortable with her such aloha in her spirit. To me that's so important especially when some of those stretches can get quite intimate makes it that much better. She also walks you through all her moves and things you can do at home to stretch yourself in the meantime. She really showed me how much difference a good stretch can help me throughout all my daily activities. My Reiki session with her was quite emotional and uncomfortable at times but slowly it's getting easier to revisit some of the painful times in my past and slowly release feels so much lighter. Definitely still in the process of more healing in my Reiki journey but her voice and energy is so calming absolutely a must try for everyone such a wonderful healing experience, so good for the soul. I also experienced Lucky for a quick effleurage session before picking up my kids. He too made me feel very relaxed and comfortable from the get-go. Pressure was perfect he immediately put me to sleep I woke up feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. I still haven't experienced Kerry but I had the pleasure of meeting her during one of my appointments she's very sweet and bubbly. Will definitely book with her next and update my review. So far I'm loving every healing service these guys have to offer they're definitely the real deal. Come check them out you won't be disappointed.
