Prices are fair and you truly get what you pay for. I appreciate Maria and her knowledge. I'll be bringing my daughter here consistently for massages. Mahalo, Maria.

However, if you want a solid massage in a studio that's convenient and clean, I think you'll like Island Therapy. I've been seeing Mai for about a year. She's a very skilled massage therapist -- don't let her small frame fool you, she's strong and really knows how to work out knots. She's also an intuitive therapist; she always seems to know exactly where I'm hurting. I should mention that Mai's massages lean therapeutic rather than relaxing, so if you're looking for something more soothing, let her know beforehand. I have an old injury, and her massages have made a real difference -- I used to have a constant, dull ache, but since seeing her once a month, I haven't had any issues. Booking is done through text, and I usually hear back within 20-30 minutes -- very convenient. I also think her prices are very reasonable, especially given her level of skill. I once saw a massage therapist who charged $350 for a two-hour massage -- great massage, but not sustainable long-term. Island Therapy's prices are reasonable enough that I can keep up with monthly massages. As for the space, the office is in a nondescript building, After you book your massage they'll send you instructions on entering the secured building. Parking is free and convenient.

I have tried lots of places but this is the second time I'm back!!! I love Linda, she is so thorough and works very hard on all parts of the body especially the parts that need it. She always asks if pressure is ok. This past time I went I was in so much pain - she can tell before I say something! She was kind and attentive but worked very hard!! I thought she started off strong then possibly got tired and went light on my legs. There is a $10 charge for credit cards and I think it's $120 cash. She couldn't speak English and the google translate didn't make sense. Overall, not bad. Maybe I'd try again and just go for a regular hour massage. I'd bring cash to avoid the $10 charge that's not posted anywhere.

Many appointments went good. A couple went bad. Last appointment I was in with bf, both masseuse were talking non stop. Loud. Laughing. Talking. For the entire hour. I was so upset, i had to stop the massage before it was done. It's so fucking rude. Please note, this was not the first time, just the loudest and longest time. Other times I went, either my company didn't mind, nor wanted to speak up, or I simply didn't want to speak up because it's awkward. But imagining sitting there for your whole massage wondering when they would stop screaming!? Also note- one time i called and ask how much it would be extra to focus on my shoulders, the man on the phone said no extra charge, but when i finished my massage the lady said it was $40 extra. I asked for 1.5 hours, she said NO because she worked too hard on my back. Fucking rude how are they still open. Don't go to their sister location up the street either. I expected the owner to reach out and apologize for his employees behavior. It's been about 2 to 3 weeks. No one's calling me so I'm leaving this review cheap ass massage place.
