Working with Javier on our whole home remodel was awesome. From the first impression to returning our key Javier and his team impressed me. I appreciated the candid conversations we had about expectations. Most remodels take time and change orders are unavoidable. Javier was there to explain all the steps they were doing. We started mid February and we were able to move back by end of July. I could tell that Javier's team respected him as a leader. His team would come to our home on time, clean up before going home, and easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend Oregon Trail Remodeling to anyone looking to remodel.

Oregon Trail built us the spa of our dreams in our master bathroom: steam room, sauna, cold plunge, vanity with hot/cold water tap, refridgerator skincare drawer, etc. Marc and his electrician/plumber/carpenter Ken were amazing to work with. Would 1,000% recommend them for anyone wanting a high-quality remodel team!

We had a fantastic experience with AJ from Oregon Trail. He was knowledgeable and on top of our project from start to finish and executed on our dream kitchen. Can't say enough good things about AJ! Our project ended up with several challenges and AJ was always solution oriented while trying to save us $$ where he could. Obviously that is appreciated when you're forking out big dollars!. His sub teams were also awesome and paid close attention to detail, we were living in our home majority of the time and everyone was always respectful of our family and young children! We will be doing more projects in the future and AJ will no doubt be our first call. Highly recommend!!

If you are looking for a great contractor look no further. AJ Martino was our contractor and he absolutely crushed the job. We have a full gut job remodel that can get complicated and expensive fast. AJ was solution oriented and would always bring a solution when a problem was presented. He has a great set of subs that do quality work. He even reduced his GC % on some items to ensure that our project stayed on budget. In a post COVID environment where material prices were rising, the fact that our project came in on budget was such a blessing. You the man AJ! Appreciate you!

Finding a good contractor can be stressful, challenging and disappointing. Oregon Trail has remodeled 4 homes on our block so when it came time for our kitchen and master bathroom renovation we knew exactly who to call. We're grateful AJ Martino and his crew were able to schedule and complete our remodel in a timely, professional and accountable manner. Remodeling can definitely be challenging, but this team of dependable true craftsmen made the process smooth with daily schedules, walk throughs, keeping on budget and results where everyone was pleased. Thank you AJ, Angel, Lopez Brothers, Luis, Lalo, Freddie and everyone at Oregon Trail for making our dream a reality.

We just finished our kitchen and master bath remodel with Oregon Trail and couldn't be happier. In early May we experienced a flood and needed to replace our master bath and kitchen. We shopped around for contractors and selected Oregon Trail because they seemed the most knowledgable and professional. We worked with our project manager Michael daily, he walked us through the process and always let us know what to expect. Everyone who worked on our home was respectful and worked with us during this strange time where we have to be home. We absolutely love our new spaces and can't wait to have them come back to do the other bathrooms when we are ready.

I'm giving Oregon Trail/ AJ Martino a 5-star review because they earned it. Read further and you'll see why. Looking for and deciding on a contractor can be scary and stressful. You hear the horror stories and the reputation of the industry. We were part of that group and we were hesitant to use any contractors. We actually started this project off using independent referrals. Our project was a total gut. We were going to take everything down to the studs. We had met with a handful of contractors and Oregon Trail was the one we liked the most. They were the most down to earth and based on first impressions they seemed to honestly believe in the quality of work and bringing to life the image of what the homeowners want. But of course....us being naive we felt we could do this without a contractor. We were wrong. The first independent guy (who was a licensed contractor and specialized in framing) we hired did the demo and attempted to do the framing and it went horribly wrong. He was short cutting everywhere possible. An example...he was cutting wood from other parts of the house to use for framing in other parts of the house. I'm not joking. An absolute nightmare. We parted ways. At that point we knew we had to do this right. But we were still apprehensive about who to use though. I have friends in the industry and they would always tell me...you will hate your contractor by the end of the project. So this is what was stuck in my head. But we knew we had to hire one. My wife and I thought long and hard about it and we decided to go with our original gut feeling and we decided to go with Oregon Trail. We made the right decision. Jeremy Parsons (one of the partners) welcomed us into his home to look at his concrete floors and skylights since we were looking to do the same at our home. How many contractors would do that? AJ Martino was our project manager and I have to give him kudos for his patience, expertise, perseverance and his advocacy for his customers. Our project had several bumps in it, including an HVAC disagreement with our HOA that held the project up for over 3 months. But A.J didn't walk off the project. He stood by us until the situation was resolved and until the completion of the project. My wife will tell you that I'm a bit on the OCD side and I look at every corner and I want perfection. A.J worked with us and was extremely patient and made sure everything was handled to our level of satisfaction. He advocated for us and we did feel like he was on our side. I have included the before and after pics to show you the quality of work. I hope this review is helpful. If you look at my reviews...I'm honest...I've provided great reviews for those who deserve it.

We wanted to do a partial remodel of our house, which included a complete master bedroom remodel, staircase painted with new balusters, a fireplace makeover and new flooring for the entire upstairs. I called several contractors, and it was very difficult to make an appointment with them. A couple were no shows on appointments that were scheduled. One contractor kept our appointment but never gave me a bid. I was discouraged and expecting a nightmare if I ever did get a contractor to actually do the work. Luckily, I found Oregon Trail. A neighbor was having some interior work done and I went over to ask them about the contractor they were using. My neighbor's remodel was not complete, but the work being done looked of very high quality and looked great. My neighbor was extremely pleased with the work that had been done. My neighbor gave me the number for Oregon Trail. I came home and called immediately and AJ Martino picked right up. We talked for a few minutes and set up a date for him to come by. AJ told me Oregon Trail does not advertise because they do not need to, all their business is "word of mouth." That says a lot to me. At our first meeting, AJ was right on time. Soon after this meeting with AJ, the work began. I cannot say enough about our positive experience working with AJ and his crews during our remodel. AJ is professional, experienced and knows what he is doing. I was always kept updated on what was being done and the time schedule for completion. AJ is a master at scheduling his crews and they were always at, or before, their estimated completion dates. There was very little down time in between jobs, the coordination between jobs was impeccable. If any changes were made, I was always informed ahead of time. AJ's crews were always on time, or early, and they are all exceptional craftsmen. They just pay attention to all the details, large and small, making sure the end result meets the customer's expectations. The crews were also very meticulous at making sure everything was cleaned up at the end of the day. One thing I really appreciated was once a job was complete, they would always ask me if I was pleased with the end result. We have additional work planned with Oregon Trail on our home. I feel fortunate that we were able to work with AJ and his crews and look forward to working with all of them again on these future projects. A remodel definitely has its challenges, but working with professionals that take pride in their work, are craftsmen, and are completely dependable, sure makes the process easier, almost enjoyable. AJ, his crews, and therefore Oregon Trails, makes this happen. I have provided some before and after pictures.

We hired Oregon Trail after reading Yelp reviews and getting competitive quotes. Project: remodel of master bathroom and closet Summary: Competitive pricing, but prepare for delays Our contractor was Kornel. Most reviews talk about Marc. While Kornel is newer to being a contractor, he has a positive attitude. We did have to do more project management than we expected. Such as making a final checklist, asking about timeline. (I assumed Oregon trail would do that.) We work from home, so it was very important for us to know what was happening when and who would be in our home each day. Some of the subcontractors were difficult to work with. For example, the plumber continued to find issues with parts, the work of the other subcontractors, etc. Plus he was really difficult to schedule, which delayed the project. The demo subcontractor was also difficult. Kornel mentioned they won't be working with them again. They ended up damaging and throwing away fixtures that were supposed to stay. To Kornel's credit, he replaced or fixed anything that had been damaged by the subcontractor. We now have a bathroom and closet we love. Their initial estimate of time was 8-10 weeks; actual was 14 weeks. We did a flat fee with them so we stayed on budget regardless. I like how Oregon trail is invested in the success of the project.

Nate from Swift Restoration was one of the only ones to not exaggerate the scope of what needed to be fixed, which put my mind at ease. Marco, the technician who demoed the water damaged parts of my kitchen, was extremely professional and did an amazing job securing the work area, even making sure that my cat did not escape as he was going in and out of the front door. Shoutout to Victor for an incredible job, this man is a construction master and he finished the restoration job faster than we anticipated while still doing solid work. Ian, the company owner, was available through the whole process to answer any questions I had and make sure that I was happy with the results. I'm the type of person who is very specific about what I want and I did my homework. I got four different bids for this project, and C2C was the clear winner. Their quote was completely itemized--which I appreciated--and ended up being well under every other retail bid I received. Two people really made the difference: Mary and Bolo. Mary is a literal pro when it comes to the insurance side of things. She worked tirelessly on the supplements to ensure we maximized our RCV payout from our insurance. She caught things the adjuster missed and helped us get the settlement we actually needed to do the job right. Bolo, the project manager, was extremely responsive and reasonable throughout the entire build. Whenever a technical issue came up--even complex stuff like electrical circuit stability or specific plumbing heights--he was there to talk it through and get it handled. One thing I will say for people considering them: you need to be the kind of homeowner who has the capacity to stay on top of the work. If you know exactly what you want and you're willing to stay involved in the day-to-day details, C2C is an incredible solution. It's a partnership, and because I stayed engaged, we were able to hit a level of quality that usually costs twice as much. The house looks amazing (see the photos of the Blue Thunder Quartzite and the Jade tile!). They were fair, they were fast, and most importantly, they were responsive. Highly recommend if you want high-end results without the "luxury markup" of other firms.

This is the second water leak mitigation & restoration we've done with C2C and while the PM on the…read morerestoration portion was outstanding this time, overall, there were more issues with the mitigation than last. Specifically, they subbed out the demo portion to another company which incurred more costs and thus lead to rejection of payment by insurance company. Or rather, it was ruled as costs extending beyond ordinary expenses. Had it been included with the mitigation equipment, the insurance would've likely accepted it, as it did last time. The actual work performed by everyone was great in the end, just as it had been last time. Everything was remediated properly and more importantly, timely. Brandon the PM on mitigation along with David the PM on the restoration side were great, with David being the most responsive and communicative PM I've ever worked with. Meaning, updates everyday, as promised. That was the best part of the whole project for me as an anxious homeowner. I will say that my own insurance agent didn't help matters either in this case. He was super hard to work with and eventually C2C had trouble reaching him. This also soured the whole experience as everyone worked to track him down by phone and to prove that all expenses were legitimate. I'm on the fence as to whether to use C2C again for mitigation. Would not hesitate to use them for restoration though.

Remember what good customer service felt like? Sit down, because I'm about to remind you…read more Between November and March I had three different remediation companies in my home. Two were forgettable. Express Dry was not. Let's start with the basics: they showed up 15 minutes EARLY. I didn't know that was still a thing. From the first call to the final walkthrough, communication was consistent and clear, no chasing anyone down, no vague timelines, no "someone will be there between 8am and never." Before anything else, their first responder, Christian, did a quick health survey -- asthma, allergies, immune compromised household members? They came prepared. That meant a lot to our family and honestly set the tone for everything that followed. The crew arrived that afternoon, introduced themselves, walked through their scope for the day, and then proceeded to professionally protect every floor, wall, and personal item in sight before getting to work. They worked in 100-degree heat, in a garage tent with industrial drying fans blasting, and stayed until 7pm on a Friday night. On a FRIDAY. These people have my respect forever. Each evening you get a full inventory and walkthrough of the day's work plus what's coming next. PMs arrived every afternoon to check progress. I'm convinced they swept up every last speck of dust before they left, the house was cleaner than before they arrived. Shout out to Christian, Omar, and the rest of the crew whose names I absolutely should have written down -- I'm sorry, you all deserved better from me. Meticulous. Professional. Health-conscious. Hard-working. And genuinely good humans. No affiliation. Nothing in it for me. Excellent companies and employees deserve to be recognized, especially in today's service landscape. If you're dealing with water damage, a flood, a slow leak, whatever it is call Express Dry. You'll be very happy you did. ---- 3/23/26 Update 1 - Johnny just left, he was checking on the project, friendly professional, and guess what he also showed up 15 minutes EARLY. He also arrived EARLY, excellent communication, called to make sure timing was okay. He was friendly, respectful and informative and asked if there were any questions and advised next steps. I opted to leave their tents up so the next reconstruction phase of the project didn't get dust everywhere. Would definitely recommend this team!

The only reason I even went with them was because of the impressive plumber I met with that recommended them. They came that night and helped initiate the process of drying the next day. Noah Lopez was the rep and was my contact initially. I saw 3 restoration companies that day and 3 plumbers so I had a decent idea how of much water damage, estimated time of deconstruction and reconstruction. A lot of companies get a bad reputation because they try and tear up as much as possible and I thought Express Dry was different but I was proven wrong. After a few days of drying, they all of a sudden discovered that my tiles were 30-99% saturated and they had to rip them up which would add another 2 weeks of work. I was confused on how this was NOT spotted initially by them or any other company I saw that initial day of interviewing. Everyone commented on how I should be lucky that the tiles didn't get wet. So obviously I called BS on them. They tried several scare tactics by having me sign some hand written statement that I would be liable and having multiple try and convince me to remove the tiles. Thank God I got a second opinion and had an outside company return to check for water damage and they too once again confirmed that tiles weren't wet and even if they were, there are other options that don't involve tearing up the tile. I thought I was getting a company that looked out for me but they were obviously looking to rip off the insurance company and make money for them. Noah tried to convince me not to contact my insurance company myself and he would do it all for me but I'll glad I called my insurance while he was present. I think that made him upset because after that, he went from being pleasant to being irritated, especially after the process began and I attempted to contact him. There were other things they did that also rubbed me the wrong way but I don't want to get anyone fired. Just another example of how can't even trust people to have some decency, even in 2026
