She was absolutely amazing, I even had my young daughter seeing her in the beginning she had me do test I never even heard of but after my parents passed and I spent thousands and thousands (and yes I kept every receipt.) I continued through my grief only to be pushed on higher pharmaceuticals and less ND results. I mean how can you truly heal when you are grieving 9 massive losses with no resources. She had no one to turn me to. I had already did mindfulness, had my eyes read, so a spiritual healer, everything she told me to do. Then I would go weeks without refills on any medicine because a loyal patient of over 6 years deserves to wait to be seen. One time she even made me wait 4 weeks just to be seen by Telehealth. Which in return ended me in the hospital. After building a close bond with Dr. Oram I really had to think about writing this review. However as her practice grew and her ability to care didn't I could see it was time to move onto a new ND. Let me clear if you are a cash patient and she only takes a handful of insurance then money comes before your health. Not to mention the wait time after you arrive for your appointments. Expect a good 30 - 40 minute wait after your scheduled appointment to get into see her and then the price is always changing. I read other reviews that someone replied they were never a patient that is not true. There is no way all 8 patients never saw Dr. Oram when she was once the top ND in Eugene. I'm glad I finally took my health elsewhere because the last conversation she told me was I would have to pay for my appointment before seeing her because I had missed 4 appointments in 6 years. Much to the credit of her care, they are very healthy, however today was the exception. When I picked up my son from school today, he was in excruciating pain in his ear. I instantly called their office, and Dr. Oram stayed late in order to see him. I was so appreciative. She truly cares about each of her clients, and runs her business from compassion. This is not the first after hours work she has done for him, either. A few years ago, she called me after hours to discuss some of his lab results. I was shocked. They scheduled him for cataract surgery. Told him to be at the hospital at 7am for the procedure. Waited 1.75hrs before they even called him back then started the surgery 1 hr late. Took him to a follow up that same afternoon after the surgery. 3:30pm appt time. We ended up seeing Dr Neale just before 5pm!! And when my dad mentioned he was not happy about the wait time Dr Neale acted like we were the ones being rude and he literally talked so fast through all of like 3 minutes of follow up time. So we waited an hour and a half there to have about 3 minutes with the Dr acted like it was rude of us to say something about that. Today in total between both appointments we spent over 3 hours just waiting for them. I can understand running late some of the time but consistently making patients wait for hours is terrible business practice. I don't think they would like their time being treated that way.

Saw Dr. Neale for cataract surgery. I asked a staff member about Dr. Neale and was told that Dr…read more Neale bragged about being able to do a cataract surgery in 17 minutes or less. Hmmm. But I wasn't going to judge based upon one comment. I met Dr. Neale briefly for the first time two days before the surgery. He spent the entire time trying to up sell me to a lens that cost $5000 dollars more than the basic and was not insurance covered. He reminded me of a used car salesman; "Do you ever go to Hawaii? A trip to Hawaii costs more than this. Aren't your eyes worth as much as a trip to Hawaii?" I cancelled the surgery and went to Dr. Haines at the Eye Center. He found that part of my vision problems in that eye involved a membrane that had grown over (not uncommon). Cataract surgery would do no good unless that was removed first. I didn't ask, but he also told me that any lens beyond the basic was not appropriate for me. Amazing. The membrane was removed and both cataracts replaced. Turned out Great!

Dr. Haines is beyond great, but the system is so bureaucratic it is almost impossible to navigate.I'm extremely disappointed as of now. I'm a retired attorney with a Harvard law degree, and I know how professional offices should be run; this one is not being run the right way.
