However, I waited about 40 minutes PAST my appointment time to be seen by the doctor. During our initial exam, she had to step out to "check another patient's blood pressure". Again, I work in the medical field so this concerned me, because it made no sense. Additionally, her stepping out of our appointment lasted about 30 minutes! She resumed our appointment and by the time I left I had certainly been there for a while. However, I only spent about 20-30 minutes actually with the doctor. I felt she made a hasty diagnosis without lab results and completely disregarded factors such as my lifestyle. Her suggestion to remedy the problem I came to her with seemed counterintuitive to advice I had received from other specialty doctors and did not make sense without having access to my labs. I returned to my PCP, my dietitian, and medical professionals whom I know personally and described the solution presented by the doctor in this clinic. All of them were aghast. They vehemently opposed her suggestion and insisted I do not return. I wasn't going to write a review, since this could have been an unlucky experience where the doctor had a lot on her plate since she was obviously seeing more than one patient in one time slot. But then I received a $450 bill from the clinic. When I called I was informed that this is the standard rate for a first-patient consultation and that these consultations are usually long. I expressed that mine was only 20-30 minutes and $450 is very expensive. I definitely would NOT have gone had I known this VERY expensive rate. Consultations in our office are $150 without X-rays (and I did not get any crays done. So I am unsure where the $450 sounds like a good idea. It's a rip off, I am very upset by my experience AND such a high bill. I definitely cannot recommend this clinic and am warning my friends away. It costs too much and does not offer any help.

That accomplished I called the Oregon Disintegrated Health message line. No one was available to take my call, but I was offered the opportunity to send a text message. That text message was returned with one saying I would have to pay cash for any appointment made. Not, "here is your appointment" get in and let's get this taken care of. Instead I called my cardiologist. They got me in within an hour. Did an EKG, confirmed Atrial Fibrillation. Ordered meds, sent me home to begin recovering from days of exhaustion and medical peril. I go on Medicare in March. I doubt I will stick with Oregon Disintegrated Health. Nice folks? Sure. 3-4 month wait times for initial consult? Not realistic. I'm getting back to health because I was resourceful. Integrated Health? Not my experience.
