They told me a major component failed & the only solution they offered me was to replace the entire iPad with the exact same one (amazing they had something that old in stock) & would've cost me about $500. After a quick analysis he let me know there was major failure in the hardware & parts would need to be replaced. To my delight, when I came to the shop the screen lit up & my wallpaper was still displayed (meaning my data was still there)! Our TV is a 65-inch Sony Bravia (model XBR-65X850F) that we bought in 2018, and it has already been with us for eight years. When it broke down, we hesitated over whether to buy a new one or have it repaired. After a quick search on Yelp, we found Mr. Gao's information. He replied immediately after we messaged him and came to our house the very same day to inspect it.His initial diagnosis was a faulty mainboard. To be completely sure, he took both the mainboard and the power board back with him for a more detailed diagnosis. To make a long story short, two weeks later, he returned with a newly purchased replacement board, installed it back into my TV, and successfully fixed it! Since the boards for the 850F model are discontinued and no longer available on the market, he had to buy an 850G board as a substitute and modify it slightly to make it compatible with my TV. I am not professional enough to understand the exact technical details, but I am certain it took considerable time and specialized knowledge to pull off! I found the repair cost to be very fair--around 40% of what I originally paid for the TV. Some people might not find it worth it, but I am so glad I can keep using this TV instead of scrapping a perfectly working LED screen and creating a massive piece of electronic waste.

On a Saturday of a Holiday Weekend (Labor Day). He came to our house to diagnose our 77 inch Sony TV, removed a few suspect boards to repair or replace and told us it can take up to 5 days to repair if he didn't have the parts. To ensure that we knew what to expect. He called us several hours later that same day to let us know that he found a fault that he repaired and updated the firmware on the logic board. He was able to return to our home at 8:30pm to 10pm to repair and ensure the TV continued to work! He is pleasant, friendly, and knowledgeable. A pleasure to work with and would recommend to anyone
