I just picked up my Epson Stylus Photo R2880 from AIMS Printer repair. First off, I've never brought in a printer for repair. So, I didn't know what to expect regarding cost of repair or turnaround. Dennis was extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful in during our interactions. The issue I was experiencing was "odd" but he was able to do some digging and brought my printer back to functional status. He was straight forward and suggested other methods to try to prevent further problems. I dropped off my printer on Friday afternoon, and when I followed up with him on the following Wednesday, the printer was fixed. So the turnaround was extremely fast! Dennis was great and I feel like he did his best to make our printer work without breaking the bank (meaning spending more on repairs than the printer is worth). He was able to get my printer EPSON t3270 working again. They are an authorized EPSON repair center, which is how I found out about them. I'd also mention that due to covid and with printers sold out everywhere, give them a little more time than you would like to repair your printer. Times are tough and it's a small shop that can only do so many print tests per day, you know how long those take. read more

I'm not really sure what the bad reviews are about but I will preface mine by saying that I've only dealt with AIMS this one time and I am more than pleased. About two weeks ago my sister calls me in a panic that the printer isn't working. I'm thinking it's something simple. First mistake. Second is not recalling that I am almost tech illiterate. So I try my best to trouble shoot it, look up YouTube videos, even live chatted with epson. I'm not sure why seeking out a service center was almost my last thought but it should've been my first. I found AIMS on the epson website, found them on yelp, and was a little skeptical. There are other printer places literally within a mile from my house. I gave AIMS a shot and drove over from Covina because I figured if there was other issues it would be easier to deal with them. I called Dennis on a Wednesday and had a new printer the following week! We had a conversation over the phone and he let me know he would look at the printer. I believe their fee is $45. After asking me a few questions, he asked me for the serial number of the printer. I was almost positive it was no longer under warranty. He wanted to make sure. He said he'd give me a call back. Thinking that he was crazy, I hung up and waited. About 15 mins later he called me back and said it actually was still under warranty! I was super surprised and relieved. He said he would take a look at it and try to fix it and if not we would put through a warranty claim. I took the printer in the following morning. Dennis was super awesome he already had the paperwork ready for me. His dog chip is in the office too which is adorable. Later on that afternoon he called me and let me know that unfortunately he was unable to fix the issue and he had went ahead and put in a warranty claim. By the following Tuesday I was picking up my brand new epson with new ink and all! He even did a test run before I picked it up. This was overall EXCELLENT service. He could've just charged me their fee and never bothered to check to see if it still had warranty. Dennis went above and beyond. Hopefully I won't have any more issues for awhile but I will be back! read more

AIMS Printer Repair is one of the best places to go to for printer repair. They are also CERTIFIED to repair printers from most of the brand name printer manufacturers. They fixed my 10 year old printer, and quickly made it work like it was new. The owner was upfront about repair costs, walked me through the process to make my printer function, and kept me updated about the progress of repairs. After 2 days of work, they made my old Epson work like it was new and they fixed it at a very reasonable price. They also stand by their work. I dealt with a brand new OKI printer that stops printing after one page - their corporate support was a pain because their representatives are a hit or miss. Took me 3 weeks to get a part that didn't even fix the problem. Decided to drop off OKI printer under warranty, waited for their call, got a call back, picked up the printer, and life is good to go. NEVER Bring a printer or anything to be fixed here. This place is unethical and unprofessional. I brought my Epson R3000 for repair of an error that was on the display 6months later no phone calls for updates, no return phone calls after I left messages. My wife went in person for an update and Denis told her he would call back the next day and a week went by no call. we called a few times and he avoided our calls and would not answer the phone. I showed up announced to pick up my printer and he gave it back to me completely destroyed and fully unasebled in a cardboard box. He said that he had thrown the print head away because it was no good and that it had since lost missing parts and that he could not find the housing and covers. I believe he used my printer to fix other printers of the same model. And was not returning our calls so he could claim we had abandoned the printer. He stole my parts to fix and charge other people. Do yourself a favor and don't put yourself through the nightmare Dennis and Aims Printing repair is. He should go out of business for being a their and unprofessional. read more

If you don't mind them not calling you back after they say they will on three occasions, or being told to call them back if you don't hear from them by 2PM. And that they had three other printers in there with the same problem and that they needed to call Epson, but Epson could not help and finally after 28 days giving up and picking up a non-repaired printer they might be ok. I just want to say that I had a terrible experience with this office. I brought in my home printer for repair and was charged $45.00 for the service I dropped off the printer on a Wednesday and was told I would hear back by Friday, this did not happen so I called in on the following Monday and was told that they were still working on it to call back again on Tuesday, needless to say this delay continued to the point that my printer was there at least 2 1/2 weeks. When I finally got an update on the issue they told me that my printer heads were clogged and that they were still in process for cleaning I was also told that my unit needed new ink, I had just replaced the black ink so I assumed they were talking about the color cartridges, they could hear that I was getting frustrated and offered to sell me off brand ink for $3.00 a piece for the blue, yellow, and magenta I went ahead and agreed feeling that I was too close to a resolve to stop now. When I was finally informed that my printer was ready we went and picked it up and upon arrival the clerk told us our printer was beyond repair and offered us a replacement; same brand/model/style and stated it was in better condition than the one I had brought in, wanting to end this ordeal we accepted the unit, now I had to uninstall and re-install this one and after spending the time to do so, I finally got the systems to link only to not be able to print because the printer is stating there is no ink. My advice is if you need a home printer repaired you are better off buying a new one and avoiding the frustration which is what I will probably end up doing to avoid further surprises. I sincerely do not recommend using this company for service, this is the first time I've written such a long review in light of my experience I hope it helps someone out there contemplating going here since I initially read a one star review and decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. read more
