My go-to testing center for the CSET multiple subject exams. I've also taken the CBEST here. It's a serious yet relaxed environment. You can't take the CSET 2 Multiple Subject exam here. Parking: Free garage parking. It's quite low so I would be careful if you have a vehicle taller than 6'2". Don't park on the ground floor as it designated for other businesses and you may get towed. I get test anxiety. The owner and the employees are friendly and fast. They don't act overtly strict or too lax. It's just right. I recommend this testing center alongside Edugo in DTLA to everyone. I'm personally not a fan of the Pearson Professional Centers due to their professionalism and overall customer service. read more

I took my state education exams at this center. I read the reviews and felt driving out of my way was worth it. I'll say, it was. Although I cannot say if I passed my exam (my own issue lol), I would go back here and take it again. They provide you plugs for your ears and it was quiet! I struggle to focus, this was a life saver! I've taken exams at other centers and they were incredibly noisy and distracting. The staff is kind, but don't arrive late. I absolutely do not recommend this place. I couldn't concentrate during my test. There is a restroom inside the testing facility therefore making it difficult to maintain focus on my test. I was told to sit next to another test taker and I could hear that person keyboard ver clearly. Also, my test scores were told to me out loud for everyone to hear. Registered through PearsonVue and found this place nearby. Plenty of parking through the underground. The workers are very nice and kind. Registration process was simple, and they have a locker where you can store your belongings before taking the exam. The actual rooms for testing are very quiet. The only downside is that the hardware are very old and worn out. I understand that an older operating system may be required to host the testing application, however they should definitely upgrade the monitor, peripherals, and chair. read more

I come to this location to take my exams for teaching credentials and is one of the closest locations near home. I had a semi-good experience the last couple of times that I came here to take my exams. I usually come here in the morning because there are fewer people. However, today was just not a good experience. I arrived 15-20 minutes early before my scheduled appointment which was at 2:00pm. I didn't start taking the exam until nearly close to 2:15 pm because the test administrator was all over the place. I guess he was not in the right mindset and was just plain rude. I can't blame him for feeling rushed because he was the only one working at the time and there was no backup. Anywho, the test administrator was a little stressed out and left test-takers standing by themselves at check-in. The overall testing environment was okay except for today. The last few times I came here to take my exams was quiet so I was able to concentrate on taking them. Today, the testing environment was a little loud. I could hear the test administrator talking loudly with someone. When I finished my exams today, the test administrator was just chatting with someone outside for a good 10 minutes. My overall experience just for today was not great. I think I will go to a different location next time. read more

I highly recommend taking your test here. Signing up with them for the CBEST exam was quite simple. I had encountered an issue with the registration but managed to reach the owner who was incredibility helpful. This center provides a wide range of time slots to appease any hectic schedule. Finding their facility was easy and they were ample parking spaces in the underground garage. The people who signed me up were helpful and clear. The testing rooms were not very expansive but the size did not feel cramped. The lockers were located in the waiting room and water dispensers were strewn throughout the facility. I recommend wearing a light jacket as the exam rooms were just a little too cold for me. But other test takers seemed to appreciate the briskness. read more

I came here to take a tech certification exam. The experience was decent. The biggest issue I have with this is that the employees don't always wear their masks over their nose. Politics aside, it makes me uncomfortable to be in a narrow hallway when the dude is walking past me barely wearing a mask. Took my 3 CSETS & RICA exam here. Why? Because if you have been to other testing centers, there is a fake professionalism that is presented and you are a number. Not here. This is a real place with real people. I took my tests on separate days. The owner/managers remembered me and this gave me peace of mind. I was treated with respect and there seems to be family-owned theme there. I could have chosen to take the exams closer to home, but found the people here to be accomodating and caring. Looking back, I remember sitting in the parking lot and listening to the classical music playing and feeling at ease. The owner/manager cruising on his segway on the 2nd floor. The employees here are really nice and accommodating. Far better than other testing centers I've been to. I was sick the day I came in and the girl placed a box of tissues on my desk. The place is kinda ghetto but its quiet, air conditioned, computers work fine, and they are open on the weekends which is wonderful because every other testing center is closed on weekends and close at 5pm and since I work a 9 to 5 job this place is great for my schedule. The website says they close at 5pm but I came in late for my 4 hour test due to car issues and the owner stayed open till 7pm for me to complete my test. Bias and discrimination; the extent of my experience at this testing site. Took about 30 minutes for staff to log me in and make copies of my IDs.. Initially, I was escorted to an abandoned computer lab (located in last suite on opposite side of second floor); it was locked, dark, and extremely hot as air conditioning was turned off. Staff said it'd take 10 mins for A/C to start working.. Advised cannot test like this. So I was then taken to another office next door- it was well lit, air conditioned with working computer stations.. After 10 mins or so, another test-taker entered the suite excited that she'd just completed her exam and wanted to retrieve her items from locker. At this point, I realized I was intentionally being isolated from other test-takers. During my timed exam, I was interrupted by the same staff member four times.. Not sure if all Black people are treated this way. Countless others may have experienced the same harm. This site is Asian owned and operated. To 'stop hate' in one community, requires a need to 'stop hate' in all communities. read more

I take all of my certification exams here because they are flexible and will try to accomodate your schedule. SAME DAY testing is available, but you have to call them directly at (626) 715-8777. Sure, it's a little ghetto inside, but when you have a manager who really tries to help you out and get you in with same day scheduling for your exam, service trumps ghettoness. read more

I finally went and took my ICND1 exam here at the recommendation of a few people who took a Cisco NetAcad class I was in as well at the recommendation of one of my professors. As other posters have said, Gary is the guy to talk to here, I called in for same day testing availability and he accommodated me right away. Maybe it's not the cleanest nor most organized place in the world, but hey same day testing. I didn't really experience the big problems others have mentioned but this was my first IT certification test and it went fine. It is also opened 7 days a week, 9:00am-5:00pm combined that with easy walk-ins and flexibility same day accommodations and you can't really complain. read more

Don't waste your time!! As others have noted, this place is extremely disorganized and extremely ghetto. I took an exam here last week and during my test, the cardboard divider almost flew away due to the fan in the room. Definitely a distraction that is not needed when taking an exam. Furthermore, I was informed while there that an exam I had scheduled for the following week could not be taken on that day due to a scheduled power outage. Okay, no problem. I was told to come in on Sunday and they would let me take it then. Great! Well no one was there on Sunday when I came in and after calling the owner, he asked me to go have lunch and come back. This was at 10 am. Against my better judgement, I did come back and when I did he was still unable to let me take my exam - this time claiming some system problem. I ended up asking for a refund but this further delayed me being able to take the exam and I ended up having to wait until Monday to call Pearson Vue customer support. Save yourself the ordeal that I went through and run away from this place as fast as you can!!! read more

And I usually don't write reviews but I want to write a review because I've been to this place four times and each time has been very good . I went here to take my cbest. The testing location is extremely quiet! Which is super important to me because as a nervous test taker , it amazing . The owner is so sweet and nice ! I went on weekdays during the morning so I wasn't around many people so I do recommend that if you are like me and you personally need to be more by yourself and possibly talk out loud during test, I would recommend going Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdays. However I have gone on a weekend and even though there was more people it was only two people per room so it wasn't as bad at all. The testing area is on a busy street because it's near freeway but the owner does give you earplugs if necessary and I had to use them and they work perfectly fine. I think it's a fine establishment where if you just need a quiet place to take your test it's very helpful and very easy to navigate. It is near an immigration office however so it does get a little busy in the parking but all you need to do is park in the basement and it's simple. Good luck on your test!! read more

Service is okay, think Chinese restaurant service. I live in the area so I'm used to it. Only reason I come back is because its 2 miles from my home. I just take my exams and leave. *Advice for anyone taking Prometeric exams, please call them and let them know to download the exam before you get there. It took them 2 hours to download my Prometric exam. Then of course, they downloaded the wrong one. Also, I had to pay again ($150.00) and wait for my refund(took 3-4 weeks). I didn't need this type of distraction when I'm about to take an exam that took me 3 months to study for. read more

I love coming here for testing. It's wonderful to be able to make appointments on the weekends. I was able to fit an extra 24 hours of study time into my busy schedule because of the availability. Due to nerves, I was not able to sleep at all the night before my test but this place has a quiet and comfortable environment, which is the best thing you can hope for when you've got a stressful task to complete. Called to ask about the A+ certification... the person I spoke with was kind of rude on the tone of the voice. I was given the "I am busy..." and he seems to be in a hurry and panicking. If they could fix their customer service or answering phone calls professionally, this could have been a great place due to having accommodations for those who can only take exams in the evenings. Arrived for test ten minutes early, then stood there for five minutes with zero acknowledgement from the proprietor involved in a conversation with someone else. Testing on their old equipment went ok. Three questions in, the computer asked for a java update, but when I cancelled the test continued fine. Took two tests, passing both. One showed up on the CompTIA website within the specified five days, the other took thirteen days, after I opened a ticket with their support. They said it was the fault of the testing center. read more

Never again. I came in to take my MTA exam for school (WGU) and it took them an hour to figure out how to log me into the system to take the exam. I had to troubleshoot my own exam!! I literally ended up calling Certiport to try and get Ez Network's system working. The best part though, was after I was done with the exam, I was having issues exiting the program so that it would score my attempt and I couldn't find anybody to help me with my issue. I called tech support AGAIN on my own on my own cell phone when finally somebody came into the room and told me they were going to void my attempt because I took out my phone!! Mind you, I was COMPLETELY DONE with my exam. I understand I'm not supposed to, but I had been there 2 hours already longer than necessary. Finally, a Certiport supervisor had to make the final call and tell Ez to score my test and count it, that way we could go our separate ways. Finally, once again after more troubleshooting (I once again couldn't log back in) I was able to resume my exam and score it. Certiport tech support urged me to NEVER go back here to take an exam ever again. He told me nothing was set up correctly. I let him know I never intend on coming back. So in short, their software doesn't work, hardly anybody speaks English, they're rude, and they don't help you! Stay away!! The one pro I have about this place is that Gary is actually a nice guy. read more
