If you are looking up these reviews and deciding between a few nearby Pearson testing centers, I highly recommend this location! I have been to both the Pasadena and Alhambra locations, and San Dimas was the best location by far. It is simple to find with very easy access from the 57 freeway, ample parking right outside the front door in case you want to sit in your car during breaks, and the staff is very nice and knowledgeable. read more

This testing center is highly unprofessional. Told me I could have an extension after denying my secondary ID, for me to get my social security card and then when I returned they denied the extension. I wanted a refund but they won't do that either. I asked to be refunded before the exam time and they said I could have time to get my second ID instead, and then I asked again after they said I no longer could take the exam, but I guess it was too late to ask for a refund at this point. I feel like I was lied to and then scammed. read more

San Dimas, CA I came here to take my state exam, and overall the experience was smooth and well-organized. There are two exam rooms, and together they can accommodate around 30 people. Right at the entrance, there's a clear sign reminding you to turn off your phone. When I arrived, about eight people were already ahead of me waiting to check in, and a few more came after, but the two employees at the front were efficient and processed everyone quickly. After check-in, an exam proctor does an additional verification before guiding you to your seat. A few helpful notes: * Personal items are stored in a locker room. Phones must be sealed in a plastic bag, which staff will only open once you've completed your exam. * Plenty of free parking is available. * Bathroom keys are kept in a container near the exam rooms. * Easy access from the freeway. Overall, a smooth and stress-free testing environment. read more

I went here for an exam. They can be a bit particular about super specific conditions for their rules despite having accommodations so make sure you contact them way in advance to make sure all of your items pass their requirements. Other than that the experience was ok. read more

Just took my NREMT here at this location and my experience was great. The building is clean and the testing center was very calm leading up to my test. The staff who helped me were extremely professional and kind. It made for a very good testing experience. I showed up prepared with my two forms of id and my car keys. They have lockers available for your stuff so you can bring what you need. The testing room was quiet which made it very easy to focus. Show up prepared and you should have a great experience. Don't forget to study! read more

Came here to take my RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) test! Everyone was so nice and the facility was clean and nice as well! Would totally come here again to take a test, if I need to, in the future. read more

I walked in about to take a 4-hour exam and was having anxiety.... Right away, I was greeted in an upbeat, friendly way by the super helpful lady at check-in. It's amazing what a brief, yet friendly exchange can do to help ease anxiety for an examinee like me. The proctor was chill and not at all impatient or offended while we both stood there, as I decided at the last moment I needed to double sanitize the shit out of the calculator and marker I was just given. (It wasn't necessary as you can see/smell all the antibacterial/cleaning products, but I just had to.) It's just these little things--friendliness/patience/not made to feel like a dumbass--but they matter. So grateful for the Pearson staff here for making my exam less stressful by just setting the vibes for the day. Awesome, awesome people. If I had to take another professional exam, i'd make the drive to San Dimas again. No doubt! read more

The staff here is kind and fantastic. They also have filtered water. They have two testing rooms which is nice and can accommodate lots of people. The facility was clean and well kept and so were the restrooms. The only reason I cannot give a 5 star review is due to the condition of my desk. My desk area was a bit rundown, the table had very thick scratches and discoloration which were a bit distracting. Aside from that it's a great test center. read more

Honestly the best testing center hands down ! I took my first test in Pasadena and they were so mean :( this testing center was so calm with me and didn't spike up my anxiety ! I truly appreciate them for how they treated me through my whole process of testing !!! ‍ Thank you guys !! To whoever was there today working !!! You were G R E A T !!! read more

The staff was friendly and informative, the place was clean and well ventilated. Parking was easy, the suite 110 is in building 410. I liked that the "dry erase board" was more of a notepad with graph lines and that I was given a fine tip marker. Overall, had a good experience and would recommend anyone taking an exam to schedule at this location. read more

Staff was great EXCEPT this overweight beast he was beyond rude. He made the test even more stressful.

Excellent testing center. While you're waiting to take your state tests you can relax and study near the 57 freeway at Via Verde in the parking lot facing the nice view of Frank G. Bonneli Park. The entrance to the building is interesting. It's like you go through a maze of a few small hallways. The people giving you the tests are really cool and friendly. Remember that these people giving you the tests are not associated with your State, county or city agency or the private companies requesting these tests. Keep all your personal items... etc... locked in your car or they do have a locker to put your personal items in. Then you go to a room where people are isolated in booths for their testing. My suggestion to you is to use the headgear to block out the noise. The earplugs don't cut it. I had a guy next to me who kept pounding on the computer buttons. It was very hard to concentrate with him next to me. Wish they had soundproof rooms. Not for him but rather for me Overall pretty good experience with free parking. Tests are for any positions that are now required by the state. For example... nurses... truck drivers, gas station owners, county, state and some federal positions. In other words it's a new way for the state to make money read more

I went today to take subtest 2 of my multiple subject CSET and was essentially yelled at and spoken to extremely disrespectfully by Mike all because I asked for a physical calculator (which I knew I was allowed on this test because I had already taken this test at another Pearson facility). He kept insisting I cannot have one and would not let me speak or ask questions before cutting me off. When his supervisor came to tell him that I am in fact allowed a calculator he continued to give me attitude rather than apologize for his mistake. It went as far as me having to ask the manager that I not have to speak to him anymore because he wouldn't stop. As someone with test anxiety this was an extremely upsetting and stressful situation. I spent the first 15 minutes of my exam trying to stop my hands from shaking because he was so rude to me. Mike should not be working anywhere that he needs to interact with humans. Will never go here again. Also tried to call and the number is out of service. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

Testing Facility: Nice new facility and plenty of space. I took my test on a Friday afternoon. It wasn't crowded at all. Speed: Took my test about an hour early. No wait. Service: Not the most enthusiastic but they do their job. Parking: Plenty of free parking in a private lot. Overall it's a good testing place and not too hard to find. read more

Took an exam here recently and my experience was comfortable and peaceful. The check in process was easy and quick. Lockers provided were clean and spacious, and the staff were very courteous. The computer station I took my exam at was spotless, private and the perfect place to focus. I pretty much sat in complete silence for the duration of my test. The peaceful environment of the testing room really made my examination process comfortable- I would definitely recommend taking exams at this Pearson branch. In terms of COVID safety measures, hand sanitizer is provided upon entry and the chairs in the waiting room are all spaced 6ft (or even more) apart. There are partitions between computer stations. Hand/palm scans are not required at the moment. read more

One-Liner: Great and professional! Now you want to have a stress free day and a clear mindset when you go into your exam and this is a great location! I chose this location because from my area, there is never traffic getting here (of course check your google maps ahead of time). Parking: Easy. For me I left early and I read the other yelp review saying she got a little lost because the yelp map is a bit off. I used the google map address: 140 Via Verde # 110, San Dimas, CA 91773 That led me to the correct location and when you turn in this....plaza strip place, you make the first RIGHT in the little turn-around loop. You'll see the building on the right (see one of the yelp picture). Service: Professional and kind For me they were very kind, simple and professional. Everything went smoothly! Tips: -Bring a jacket and wear long pants. I was freezing (I do get cold easily). -They provide ear plugs (brought my own, but they will provide for you). -If you need calculations, they can provide you a small calculator (depending on your exam) so you dont have to use the one on the screen (depends on test!!) -They provide lockers. Do not bring your study notes in there, they will ask you to put it in your car. Bring snacks, water, or jacket. You cant bring a water bottle or cup of water in there so bring your water bottle for the locker (I was super dehydrated after 4 of my 6 hour exam. -Try not to wear anything too complicated. They will ask you to pat yourself down and expose your pockets and whatnot before you go in and out and etc. -Ladies - dont wear bobby pins, they will ask u to remove it. just simple hairband is okay I was stressed out from the exam and chose a place that wouldnt be so crowded (vs. pasadena or in LA etc) and this was a great spot read more

this testing center was totally worth the commute for me on my test day. they had the most available dates of all the centers around me (Pasadena, Gardena, Westland Village). the area is beautiful. it's the same exit as Raging Waters. If you're coming from the 57 South, get off Via Verde and continue straight into the lot after passing the stop light. (Accidentally made a right and circled around looking for a single building but it's in one of the suites within this lot hehe). I actually watched a video on YouTube of what to expect on exam day. The sweet is really easy to find. They have signs to guide you, and you can just follow the room numbers to 110. The hallways were freezing!!!! But once I got into the room, it was perfect temperature. I was welcomed by a very sweet lady who probably could tell I was nervous for my exam haha. She made the check in process very simple. I read the rules and then handed her my license, gave my signature and Palm scan and took a profile pic. Then she guided me to the proctor and he warmly greeted me and double checked my license and Palm scan. Took me in, and then started my exam!! They have lockers to store your snacks and water and keys. They put your phone in a special bag and seal it up. Only they can use their scissors to cut the bag open before you leave the facility. People just leave their phones in their car too! No hair ties on wrist; must be in your hair. They also make you flip your pockets inside out to check. It's like going through the TSA process at the airport hahaha. I arrived an hour early and they let me start 45 minutes earlier than my scheduled appointment. Plenty of parking! Good luck to all you test takers!!! read more

Very friendly and clean. Nice and quiet to test they definitely don't over book anymore due to Covid so you won't be in a room with more the 5 people at one. Staff makes check in fast and simple. read more

I took my NCLEX here this past July at 8am. I was fearful about taking such an early exam but figured it would be good since I was used to taking early exams during school. This location was close to my sisters home which meant I wouldn't have to worry about driving far to test which was a great relief. I really appreciate that there is free parking in this spacious lot. If you test here, I recommend coming a day before to know where to find this place because its easy to pass by. Inside, the staff is really friendly. The earlier you come, the sooner they get you situated and prepared to test. While waiting you get an assigned locker and you're allowed to use the restroom too. The rooms are nice and small and everyone faces a wall and has dividers between then and other testers. You also can request earplugs and have headphones available. They really provide a lot to ensure you don't get distracted. My experience was positive and the staff are great knowing how stressed everyone is coming in. I passed with 75 questions and if I had to do it again (thankfully not) I would do it here! read more

Great testing center! Friendly staff that are conscious of testing anxiety during the COVID-19 pandemic and provide protocols to keep you and fellow test takers safe. Each test taker now sits at their cubicle with 6 ft given between yourself and others. They provide earphones and writing tools so you can leave your supplies at home. A great testing experience! Only flaw was the confusing passage way to the restroom and entrance of the testing center. read more

I came here to take my CSET and it took me half an hour to find this place. For some reason, when I yelped/ googled mapped this place, it took me to Bonelli Park. I asked the lady at the gate entrance of Bonelli Park if she knew where this testing place was at and she didn't know. FYI guys, it's the giant ass building to the right, before the Bonelli Park entrance. Once you guys drive in, you'll hit the roundabout/ donut - turn right and your building for CSET testing will be there. They have lockers to place your purse and other personal belongings, but if you have any study materials, they'll make you put it back in your car. I brought in my backpack because I was trying to review before I took the test since my appointment wasn't until another hour, but they told me to put it in my car. Also, that's the other thing - if you get there early, they'll just have you take the test immediately. Again, I arrived an hour early and they got me started on the procedures and I was testing in about 15 minutes. Threw me off guard because I thought I would have had time to review. It's all good though, they were really friendly! Because it's a testing center, they don't mess around. They have cameras everywhere and you essentially need to get a hall pass to use the restroom, take a break, and/or drink water. They real serious. All in all, it's a nice quiet place to test. read more

I went in yesterday to get information on the test I was scheduled for today. The two ladies at the desk were friendly and explained everything to me. I felt prepared for my test today. So today was about the same as far as friendliness. There was an older gentleman and one of the ladies from yesterday who helped check me in. He even asked me if I had to go to the restroom which is nice because I was so nervous about taking the NCLEX I didn't think about the bathroom. All and all everyone I came across either smiled or spoke and was friendly. The space to take your test was large and comfortable. The offered ear plugs and sound deafening headphones of which I used both. I probably didn't need them anyway because the room was so super quiet. Overall a good experience! I'd go back to this one if I had to. But I don't for this test because I passed!!!! read more

Hands down best service ever. Everyone here was so friendly. There was zero wait and just a lot of encouragement. I hope I can come back one day!! read more

Came here for my exam. It was an okay place. Plenty of free parking outside in the plaza. The staff was nice for the most part although they need to be a little more polite in not sounding condescending when speaking to the test takers and wiping their hands after sneezing. The test room was standard but spacious. I've taken the test before and it's like the other location I've taken it at. The location was not difficult to find and it's near Raging Waters. Not much else I can say but it's an okay location to take a test. read more

The only test center I've ever been to but I wouldn't go anywhere else after coming here ! The two ladies that was working there on that day were both very nice and professional. They explained everything to me and made me feel comfortable about taking my test. The place is nice and clean and the testing room wasn't too hot or too cold and overall I felt relaxed and confident about taking my exam without having to worry about any distractions. read more

Great place to test. Beautiful area, plenty of parking and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend this location to my friends who will be testing in the future! read more

Highly recommend this place to take your NCLEX at. This location was great and all the staff was so kind, which helped decrease my anxiety before going into the exam. I would suggest to wear long pants while testing because it was really cold inside (because they make you remove any jackets / sweaters prior to the exam). So I'd recommend wearing long / warm attire. Overall, my experience was very positive here! read more

couldn't find the place 。。and type key word Google gives me the address ~~love ya google ~

Horrible place. People are not friendly at all. The restroom is extremely far from the test room. Can wasted your time up to five minutes just to walk there and back. I will NEVER go here again. read more
