I'm a PICU nurse and college nursing instructor, so I understood what he needed to help with his recovery. He needed help on multiple levels including his primitive reflexes, reading, spelling, focus, core strength, auditory and visual processing, and tools to cope with his emotions. Stowell Learning Center was recommended to us by my son's audiologist, Dr. Pamela Best. There is not one doctor in Las Vegas who tests for auditory processing disorder. We have only been with Stowell Learning Center for almost a month. We travel there once a month, but we predominately complete his treatments at home and consult with a representative from the center once a week. My husband and I have seen big changes. My son was going to the nurse's office 3 to 4 times a week prior to visiting the center for his anxiety and fatigue. He was sucking on things and chewing paper. He has not been to the nurse's office since the New Year! He is more focused in school and with homework. He is emotionally more stable and can reason better. The treatment is time consuming on the parent, but it is worth it. The representatives at the learning center have been patient and flexible with me. I have even received tips on helping my son get more organized. I can't give enough positive words to the staff at Stowell Learning Center. I highly recommend this place, especially if your child has suffered from a head injury or has ADHD. My son was diagnosed with ADHD post the head injury. He is not on medications right now, and I hope to keep it that way. Liz is AMAZING at the center. She is extremely knowlesgable and will get to the root of the problem with learning problems (and more!).

Tomorrow is my first day going back, but I literally love this place so much. I definitely recommend it is so helpful. I've learned a lot and it's just crazy to think how it helps your brain when you're like. I feel like that's not gonna help my brain or not gonna help me learn but it really does, everybody so nice and helpful and just amazing. And I love you guys so so much and it was so fun to go there and I am so excited to go tomorrow. But anyways, definitely recommend this place. It is amazing words cannot describe it. It's my heart that describes this place. from student Priscilla.

They truly care about each child's individual needs and celebrate their progress, big or small. I've seen so much improvement in Kamila's confidence and happiness since joining their programs. This is a beautiful place filled with a wonderful staff. It is located perfectly in the heart of Claremont. They have a gorgeous swimming pool that is for children and physical therapy for adults. George and Frank are the lifeguards that observe the children. They are in great hands. Children, teens, and adults are divided into four groups. This facility is not a school but a learning center. The employees are not teachers, but helpers/aid. They communicate and converse with children-adults (2-6pm) and report to their parents after session. They talk about progress, Group D- (Infants-Toddlers) Employees who are in charge (Doris, Francella) I have to say that they are the back bone of the community. This group is so important because they teach the children at a young age, life skills and behavioral lessons . A very difficult job, but they do it with ease. Doris is a highly trained employee who has worked here 30+ years. All the children and adults respect her. She is the tank of the operation. Francella has also worked here for 2-3 years and the children couldn't be in better hands. The children need a mix of a big sister/mother figure. She gives attention to every child and unconditional love. She can also be very strict and knows when to stop children from playing. Group C (Toddlers-Teens) Employees (Carol, Gabby) This group is just as intense as Group C. They do as much as Group D. They provide the children/teens life lessons and teach them behavioral manners. The teenagers are at their beginning of maturation and it can get difficult at some times, but the employees both manage to keep their composure and teach on. Re edit soon-

I don't even know where to begin. Finding IEP With Help -- operated by Diego and Madelyn Sologuren…read moreand Amber Cooper -- was the best decision I've ever made for my twin sons. I reached out desperately needing an advocate after years of frustration, confusion, and getting nowhere with the school district. After just one consultation, they joined me at my sons' IEP meeting the following week, and I was in absolute shock at how much they were able to accomplish after just one meeting. What started with one IEP quickly turned into a series of strategic, intentional meetings, each one bringing us closer to accountability and real solutions. It wasn't overnight, but their consistency and pressure made all the difference. They asked all the right questions, the kind that only an experienced advocate would know to ask. They challenged the district in a way I never could as a parent alone, and they did it respectfully, knowledgeably, and with total confidence in my boys' rights. Watching them work was like watching people who not only knew the law inside and out, but who genuinely cared about my kids as if they were their own. From the very beginning, they walked me through everything step by step. They took the time to explain my sons' IEPs in detail, something no school team has ever done. I finally felt heard, empowered, and most importantly, supported. They made sure my boys got exactly what they were promised under FAPE, and when the district fell short, they didn't back down. Because of them, my sons now have a plan in place that will completely shift the course of their academic progress and self regulation, a direct result of the team's relentless advocacy and dedication. Madelyn spent hours behind the scenes using her investigation skills and due diligence to uncover the district's missteps, while Amber was like a legal encyclopedia, firing back with exact amendments and language without missing a beat. Diego especially... he should seriously become a lawyer. The way he advocated for my family felt like I had my own brother in the room fighting for us. That level of passion, knowledge, and care is rare and it's exactly what every parent of a child with special needs deserves. From now until my boys graduate high school, IEP With Help will be at every IEP meeting. That's a promise I've made to myself and to my kids. I am forever grateful to this team, my heart is full. If you're a parent who's struggling to navigate this system, please don't wait. Call them. They are the real deal.
