The whole place has this clean and almost cozy setup that instantly puts you at ease, which is the exact vibe you want when your brain is about to be tested for its life. The staff does such a good job of keeping everything moving. Even when you walk in and there's a line that looks intimidating, it ends up flowing way faster than you'd expect. Checking in feels organized, smooth, and actually reassuring. They make it very clear that they're there to set you up for success, not stress you out. What I appreciate most is how mindful they are about breaks and personal comfort. They really want you to take your time, breathe, reset, and not feel rushed to jump back into the exam. They're super efficient at noticing if someone needs the restroom or if another bathroom needs to be opened. It feels like they're quietly watching out for everyone in a way that makes the whole environment feel safe and supported. Even checking out at the end is quick and simple, almost like a palate cleanser after the mental marathon you just went through. I also had a moment where my phone was accidentally left on and started vibrating in the locker. The staff handled it in such a calm and professional way. The woman just gently asked for my key, turned it off for me, and let me know it happens all the time. I felt bad, but she made it so easy that I walked away really grateful for how patient and human they are. I tested at this location 3x. Although I live almost 2 hours from this location, it is 100% worth the drive! The testing center is located in a quiet shopping center and the testing center itself is very calm, staff is excellent (very encouraging and nice!) which believe it or not is a DRASTIC change from other testing centers I've tested at. I had a great experience at this testing center. The gals who work there were very nice and positive. They have lockers to store your stuff and they have restrooms inside. You will get checked too. You have to lift the bottom of your pants to show your ankles and they will have you roll up your sleeves and pull out your pockets and then run a mental detector over you. It was fast and super simple and like I mentioned they were very polite during the check-in process. If I have to take any more tests then this will be one center that I will try to test at. They also have a big parking lot with a McDonalds at the end. So it's good to get a snack , use the restroom, or take some extra time to study if you get there early. read more

My experience at this test center was not bad at all. Entered the suite 25 mins before my appointment and was assisted by a lady at the front desk, starting the check-in process right away--handed her my ID for verification and was given a key to a locker to put my wallet, car keys, and cell phone away. I was then guided into another room, where I verified my email address and signature, before being wanded and having my glasses inspected. You are only allowed to bring in your locker key and ID into the exam room, along with the laminated scratch papers and dry erase markers provided, which are returned at the end. The testing environment seems a bit smaller compared to the other site I've been to. I suggest asking for ear plugs or using the ear muffs hanging on the cubicle divider to reduce the noise from the door opening/closing, people walking, mouse clicks, squeaky neighboring chairs, and hearing yourself whisper "wtf?" LOL. The room temp was cool, so a sweater might do if you get chilly easily. As for the staff, the ladies were very helpful and efficient. They explained what I needed to know/do. Signing out, a lady asked me how I think I did and I told her that the exam material was nothing like what I studied for and she replied that a lot of medical test takers say the same thing. I jokingly stated that I'll see her again and she hoped not... I got my results via email as soon as I got into my car--sadly, I won't be seeing her again.. perhaps for another certification :) read more

I was called the day before to start my exam an hour before they opened because they were 'overbooked'. They didn't turn the A/C on had my hand raised for 20 min trying to get their attention and was completely ignored. I sweating so much because of how hot it was my glasses couldn't stay on my face. Don't tell people to come in early and do you a favor then ignore them and cause them to fail a test because you didn't do all your opening procedures. read more

The locations itself isnt terrible. The staff who checked me in were moderately professional. My issues came when I was in the testing area. All throughout the building it has signs that read "quiet zone testing in progress" but why were the staff the worst at this? When they were prepping other testers, I could hear every dialogue they were having. When these women were alone, I could hear their conversations about their families and plans for that evening. I get that this is your work place and people have work colleagues, AND this is still a testing site. Don't post signs that require others to be quiet but you don't have to abide by the rules. It's disrespectful and unprofessional to testers who've paid money and who likely have anxiety around completing the exam. If I ever had to test again, I'd drive to another site. The stations were also very old and there were not ergonomically friendly. Chairs were falling apart. No options for earplugs just overly used gross headphones. Took all 4 parts of the CPA exam here. So i visited this test center 5 time in the last 2 years. I like this location alot. During the pandemic, this is the only location that was reliably operating. I had my testing appointment cancelled twice at other location. The staffs here are professional and efficient. They check me into the exam with ease every time. The location has good parking and a Mcdonald right next to it. It helps after taking a 4 hours exam. I never had problem with the equipment at this test center and the bathrooms are clean. Special mention Rebecca. She was professional, good at her job, and always well dressed. When she checked me in the last time, she even gave me a few words to boost my confidence. read more

So NO accommodations for me. Lmmfao. This location a mess. I wrote a scathing complaint letter to the head of this pro metrics region. My proctor has the most egregious breathe. I took my GRE here on 8/24 after other locations continously canceled my exam amid COVID. I had a wonderful experience. The staff was informative, on time, and very helpful throughout. They provided noise canceling headphones and allowed me to wear my disposable ear plugs and though I could hear people shuffling around, it was great that that provided this to us and that we were able to focus on our test. My test was at 8am and I arrived at 7:30am and they allowed me to take my test early. I wore a mask the entire time while testing, and they had a locker for me to stow away my items, which I was able to access during the break. I had a great experience here. It was very helpful to be able to do a "test drive" before my actual exam. For $30 I was able to have the experience of the expectations which included the check in, the environment, how the computers work, and most important, the security measures they have to take. It could seem very rigid to some (think TSA), but if you know what to expect, it really helps. The employees have a lot of balls rolling at one time...not to mention having to deal with nervous test takers, and yes, the while doing the test drive, I heard a couple of snips, but I didn't take it personally as I knew what they were dealing with. The room was well ventilated, quiet, and my computer worked perfectly. The day of my actual exam could not have been any better. I knew what to expect...All the ladies working were helpful and pleasant, which made my test experience and nerves going in, much better. I didn't get anyone's name, but everyone who worked on 3/16/18 & 3/17/18 was very helpful & nice. And I say everyone because my test was 7 hrs long both days. There was a problem with my exam setup and the employees here had to call a few people to figure out how to fix the situation. They didn't their job well and was very accommodating. At the end, I didn't have to reschedule. Even when you take unscheduled breaks they try to get you back in ASAP so you don't have to wait long at all to sign back in, or out. They are very attentive & I would recommend anyone to come here. read more

This Prometric testing center is the strictest, and the Proctors are the meanest. I just want to tell the proctor working there: being mean doesn't make you look more professional, but only to make this testing center an unpleasant place to take the exam. People pay so much money to take the exam, people deserve some respect. I won't choose this testing center again if I have a choice. read more

I took a big exam here today. The place is in a large building with lots of parking. The front door faces west. It's super seamless. The women who work here are very kind and professional. They talk you through what to do and then seat you. WARNING: for those who are easily distracted you best to wear the ear protectors they offer. There are folks who are taking LOOOOOONG exams and are allowed breaks. They can get up and walk out so there isn't complete silence. The door makes noise too because those going in and out don't have the courtesy to do it quietly. Absent that, it's a great place to test. read more

This place is an unprofessional dump and the staff is rude. In addition, their claims to making their facility "Covid safe" is laughable- from check in to the process they use after a person leaves a station, their cleaning and separation measures are disappointing and concerning. In addition, they have people constantly cycling in and out of the room while you are testing instead of scheduling similar length tests in one room. Avoid at all costs!!! Please, choose a different center. I normally choose one closer to home but unfortunately my regular center was booked for several months out so I was forced to pick this one. Michelle is an employee there who preys on your anxiety and stress and makes it 100x worse. She threatened to kick me out of the center because I took a sip from my water bottle and put on chapstick stating I had been warned all food and drink needed to be taken outside. Although that was true, I was very obviously stressed out with the fact I was going to be taking an exam so I didn't register taking a sip out of a water bottle would be considered an infraction. So she yelled at me and I put my water bottle away. Then as I was putting my things in my locker I start to put on chapstick and again she yells at me, this is when she threatens to kick me out of the center. At this point I respond to her that I was neither eating nor drinking and that no one was nearby me. I obviously did not want to say more at this point for fear she would follow through on her threat. So it wasn't enough for me to already be anxious and stressed about the exam, now I had to fear I would be kicked out because Michelle was on an obvious power trip, as if us test takers aren't the ones who pay her salary. She should not be working there if she hates people so much. I know for a fact she affected my performance that day and it saddens me there are people like her who work in places meant to help others. Aside from that, the center only has one restroom so that can also cut into your break time if you're having to wait in line. All the other employees were great, but just to be on the safe side, book elsewhere. read more

I know its my faults that i didnt check the email stating that they dont accept expire I D. I was there early but no one there at the front desk for 15 minute. They makes me wait then when i found out they dont take my expire I D it was alreday time for me to take test, they gave me 30 minute yo bring my passport. My husband was rushing home to get my passport since we live 15 min away. They gave me 30 min but its not possible for raing day to back and forth for 30 min. i got 3 hours and 45 min to take the test.If I lose 1 hours thats on me. But they refused to let me take the test. I also asked them if they have any open spot that i can take it. She said No. Do i lose my money? she said I dont know. To study my test is very stessful. I took time off from work to take this test and this testing center is not confronting , understanding, and accomodating at all. read more

Very unprofessional staff/proctor during a very important board exam. Granted it is Covid season, we wear a mask but it would be much appreciated for proctors to just simply say, "please don't touch your mask" rather than " If I see you pull down your mask I will KICK YOU OUT OF THIS EXAM" It is already hard enough to breathe and concentrate with a mask during stressful text times, these behaviors break test takers concentration. They don't even ask or obtain proof of Covid vaccination. Very poor and unprofessional staff. Compared to the other board exam I took with PSI testing center which is more friendlier, cleaner, more accomodating and closer to my location. I will NEVER return to this location. Talk about an interesting experience. I had to get this place on the map because it wasn't on there. but how do you review a test center? Why would you? Well.... Because I was there. Apparently they offer a wide array of testing for various employment. The test facility required I show up 30 minutes early. I did and the door was locked. Me and another person stood out front until a late employee showed up and knocked (we knocked too but this time they answered). Some people got in the last time they opened the door (but forgot to unlock it) so there were already some people there. The lady at the front, in a monotone voice somewhat greets people followed by the question "What test are you taking today?" Then she asks for form(s) of id etc. She gives you a locker key you put all your junk in it. You then sit down, wait in a droll, uncomfortable, silent room. Well I mean to say that the room is silent, but loud. There's no carpet or anything so just imagine an awkward silence of people sitting around just looking - trying not to make eye contact so they don't have to make small talk or give the customary 'nod' to greet you without words. Eventually another lady calls your name and you think your comfortable getting out of the silence - but your not; it gets more awkward. You're asked to basically pat yourself down and literally turn your pockets inside out. Then you have to lift your pants above your ankles and be 'wanded' by one of those metal detectors. Once she determines you have no means of cheating you're escorted to a chair with computer and headphones to take your test. Feel free to leave the headphones off if you like, it's still dead silent and awkward with or without them. I wore mine as a fashion statement. So why 3 stars? Well because it's a testing center of course. They got the job done. There is a huge, enormous, colossal room for improvement, but it got the job done. And my guess is - you don't have a choice. Sure you might have a few options, but this is likely the most convenient location near you. So go on and enjoy. Be awkward and merry. I recommend short shorts without pockets and a tank-top with flippy floppys, might make the whole experience more fun and likely faster. read more

I had a good experience taking an 8 hour exam at this test center. It's in a great location because you'll mostly be against the traffic if you are heading here from the west. There is ample parking outside and the sign is prominent so you won't miss this location. Google maps marks this unit on the other side of the building but that is wrong, it is exactly on the opposite side marked in Google. The clean bathroom and the lockers are in close proximity to each other. There are two big testing rooms and they are nice and roomy. The only two minor complaints I had compared to the Prometric in Culver city was that the latter had better lighting and temperature control. It can get slightly cold in here so bring a jacket just in case. The chair was comfortable and the computer/headphones did not give me any problems. The staff was courteous throughout and checking in and out of breaks was a breeze. I would definitely consider coming back to this location for future exams for ease of travel as well as the spacious and quiet rooms. read more

Came here for a standardized test recently and encountered no problems. Walked in and was immediately greeted and helped to my locker number. I was quickly signed in, finished with registration, and began my test with no delay. Staff is cordial and expedient -- you get your testing done in a quiet environment. I would just like to note that people may assume I got a bad score because this is a testing location but I did not. This is a real opinion regarding what happens at this location. WOW! then you want a bad testing location then this is the one you want. I understand that there are policies and rules to ensure people do not cheat, but the staff treat you like a criminal and gave me incredibly rude/snarky comments. Second, when taking the test I understand that they are supposed to walk up and down the row every once in a while to ensure everyone is following rules. BUT the staff walked up and down the row the entire time. third, when they reach your cubicle they literally lean into your cubicle like to the point of almost breathing down your neck. I do not understand how this is fair because it is incredibly distracting. Fourth, the "noise canceling headphones". Absolute rubbish. I could hear the person typing from opposite side of the room. to conclude, I feel when you are taking any exam and pay a good amount of money for it, you deserve a great testing environment and staff. Testing computer literally crashed to a blue screen in the middle of my last block during my USMLE. My entire future as a physician hinges on this test, and their computer crashes. The best part? "Oh yeah, that happens occasionally." They knew it was a problem! You're a testing center for career-defining tests. If your computers crash occasionally, REPLACE YOUR F**KING COMPUTERS. On an additional note, this was the worst Prometric center I've been to out of about 8 that I've taken tests in. They have ONE TOILET for EVERYONE! And in the bathroom is a sign: "Please use very few sheets of toilet paper. This toilet clogs easily, and is the only toilet for all students". Are you serious?! This is completely unacceptable. I'm taking an 8-hour test with 10-minute breaks, and I have to choose between eating or waiting in line for the bathroom? The staff were nice to me, and you can tell they're trying. But seriously, if you have any other options for test centers, go somewhere else. This is obviously a management and location problem that won't be fixed any time soon.
