I've been ordering servers and spare parts from Orange for nearly 14 years now across 4 different companies I've worked for. I think the total is easily 70+ servers. They sell great servers at very fair prices. We've almost never had new server money, so having a source of high quality used servers is incredibly helpful and lets us accomplish what we need within our limited budget. The servers have always been shipped on time, or even earlier than what's estimated on their website. Their in stock component sales are great as well and usually allow for some better hardware than we could otherwise afford. I've gotten to the point where even if there's a cheaper deal somewhere else I'll still insist on ordering from Orange. Every time the boss has pulled a 'look I found it cheaper' move it's ended up being a nightmare. With Orange you know you're going to get what you paid for in the condition and time frame that was promised. As with buying anything used there is the chance for issues to arise. On the rare occasion that there has been an issue Orange has always taken care of it with no fuss. It's used equipment. No matter how well they test it parts can still fail no matter who you buy it from. What matters is how you're treated when problems occur. We couldn't be happier. read more

I ordered a server from them and when it arrived it was overheating and one of the fans did not work. I called and they wanted me to start moving the CPUs around to see if the issue continued...I was told if it did they would send me a new motherboard (that I would have to install. Yes me install a new motherboard in a server...I told them they were creating more issues than what we have on hand as I know nothing about the inside of a server). I did as they asked and moved the CPU to find it was still hot...I called with the results thinking that as they had stated we would soon be installing a new motherboard and we could get the server up and running...but then they decided that I should remove two of the processors and see what happens....I was told that if the CPU was still hot we would then start testing the memory. I have had enough...what happens after the memory test? Will they want me to get a meter and test all the currents in the capacitors. Yes the warranty states a year but by the time you have pulled and moved all the stuff around they want the end user to do...the warrant will have long expired. I have totally given up on this server and this company and since they do not have a return policy on DOA servers...I now have a grand Paperweight on my desk. Jim read more

It is my pleasure to highly recommend Orange Computers to you for your server needs. Every person I spoke and worked with: Pat, Tim and Dave, were knowledgeable, polite, friendly, and not just willing to answer my questions, but also made suggestions to guide me to make sure my questions were completely and correctly answered and my needs were met, once I explained what I needed my server for. They made recommendations to meet or exceed my technical demands and at a very good price. And it's clear they genuinely care about their customer's satisfaction. They were even willing to suggest when I could find certain parts elsewhere more cheaply, or steer me away for making potentially bad decisions on purchasing items elsewhere - ex: making sure the drives I was looking at on ebay would support my server correctly. They not only met my expectations, they continually exceeded them. There website to create a custom build is easy to use, well laid out and dynamically updates quotes as you add and remove items. I've tried "other guys" web sites and frankly they are markedly inferior in comparison - and prices were much higher, too. OC's custom configuration prices are the best I've seen. They also have an ebay store that is well stocked with many choices and upgrades are a breeze. These guys are amazing! Thank you so much! It was a great working with you! P.S. I purchased an R610 from Orangecomputers for personal labbing. The price was reasonable, good PayPal financing was offer, and a Reddit post on Reddit.com/r/homelab highly recommended them. I'm a networking guy and have never bought any computer online before. I ordered on a Wednesday and upgraded to 3 day shipping. By Thursday I found the server had not yet shipped. I used their online chat service and their associate Andrew told me the parts would not arrive in their shop until Friday. I was unnerved because the website said the parts were in stock and I had already opened my weekend schedule to setting this thing up. I was given Pat Biondo's information, whom is their warehouse manager and told to call him Friday morning. So I called Pat Friday morning and he said he was typing me an email right as I called. Pat was super and made everything right. The warehouse was located in St Louis and since I am in Kansas City my 3 day shipping was refunded by Pat since Ground Standard shipping would have arrived at the same time. So here I was, upset that my server would not arrive by Saturday. After talking to Pat and figuring I chose the wrong shipping, I was refunded ~$70 and behold! The server arrived on Saturday morning in amazing condition. They even included some power cables. So I can recommend these guys to everyone. After talking to them and emailing I realized they are a small shop with a tight workforce and really care about their customers. I will definitely buy from them again. read more

We have used this company for a few years because of a spot I saw on the news. The TV station had done an undercover story about local computer repair shops and this shop came out on top. Turns out that TV show was right. Despite our constant use of computers, we ourselves know nothing about how our computers work and we get frantic when something goes wrong. This company has never failed to save us when it inevitably does. read more
