In general, good comments and recognition tend to go by the wayside when a business owner or service provider goes above and beyond your requests or expectations. Mr. Farley not only performs to my expectations, but he also goes above them. He's being doing work for me and my church organization since 2011 and it's been my experience in both service and customer care that Tim displays what's missing in today's world of customer service and knowledge of current technology. Whether it was audio/visual inquiries or just general follow-up questions & concerns, Tim was able to clearly & patiently answer all of them. Mr. Farley has been very thorough and meticulous in his services that includes audio/visual upgrades, networking solutions, and now even home automation. He is pleasant to speak with and has always been very truthful in his assessment of what my needs are. His commitment to providing excellent customer service matched with his technology knowledge only influences my decision to both recommend him and his services to my friends, family, and businesses. Made 20 minute calls to ai voice and could not get them to connect me to tech support - can I bill you for my wasted time? No support. No info. Nothing. Drove to Montgomery Lake Conroe office yelp lists as B open but as of 1:30 sat it is closed with no hours or sign on their door JAVE NEVER HAD WORSE, unresponsive service. Guess my alternative is to contact FCC. MAYBE THEY COULD HELP YOU IMPROVE YOUR SERVICE.

Tuesday I signed up to move my cell and internet service to Optimum. Had I had any inkling of how…read morefrustrating this process would be I would never have switched. That day I had approximately 6 hours on the phone with Optimum. I spoke with at least sixteen different people. The people are not the problem. They were invariably courteous and tried to be helpful. The biggest problem is the inter-office process used to communicate between offices. No matter what number you call, you are always transferred to another office. And in every case each new person asks for the same information, your full address, your phone number, your email address and your passcode. It then takes 3 to 4 minutes while the first person who answers the phone communicates with the person they're going to switch you to. Then the new person asked for the same information again. And if you're transferred a second time you have the same wait and have to repeat the same information again. It's as if this technology company is passing inter-office notes on paper between offices. And that was just for the cell phone transfer. The technician that was supposed to connect up my internet this afternoon was a no show. I received a text message that said the Technician was unable to access the required area. Even after speaking with a supervisor, no one knew what that meant. So after planning my day around a 2 Two. Five o'clock appointment, No one shows up. Today, my first full day with Optimum cell service, I was talking with a credit card company. They sent two confirmation text messages to me. Neither came through. When the company then tried to call me to confirm I was who I claimed to be, that phone call did not connect either. When speaking with Optimum tech support, they said someone would call or text me in 24 hours with a solution. If this continues, I'm moving back to my old phone and internet company. Read the reviews of Optimum and be leery. It may be less expensive, but the real cost may be greater.

But, with me he promised to come and fix my receiver, but never called or came by. When I called him after the weekend, he said he forgot! But, it get better, the women at the shop, said he called but no answered. My phone will tell me when I missed a called, but if course he never called. I hate lyers. Both were a disappointment involving multiple trips to get the job done The latest job is still ongoing. Their tech came out to swap the equipment out to upgrade to the hopper and was here for 7 hours even though I was told it would only take a couple of hours. That would have still been okay if every thing worked fine after he left. After about five hours I had to leave to go back to work and when I returned I tried out the new system and the Hopper remote would not work. I called A Cut Above(ACA) and the next day the tech came out but he brought the wrong remote and said he he would be back the following day with the right one. I didn't hear from anyone after that so I called ACA several times over the next several weeks with no luck getting the issue resolved; in the meantime I discovered that the tech did not hook up the hopper to my wireless modem as he was supposed to so I also called ACA about that and was told someone would be out the next day to hook the hopper up to my wireless internet and that they had mailed me my new remote. It is now 10 days after that conversation and neither has happened. I am a patient person but I finally became angry with ACA and was told that it was their contractors fault not theirs. I'm a home builder and remodeler who uses a lot of sub contractors and I can't imagine using that lame excuse with one of my customers. I asked for the owner to call but have heard nothing which speaks volumes. If your'e in business you need to take ownership of your problems; something that ACA knows nothing about. I am now dealing directly with dish.

I can not say enough nice things about him. I was very frustrated after a chat and phone calls with Optimum customer service over a two day span. Tyler knew exactly what was wrong when he walked in. He explained everything to me and made sure all my devices were connected to my new modem/router before he left. I've had two great experiences with Optimum and they have been interactions with technicians, real people, not AI chats and phone calls.

Ugh... I have been trying to help my dad with his Optimum cable issues. For weeks his printers kept…read moredropping off the network. We have tried four different printers, resets, etc. So maybe it's the router. We exchanged the router and were told "it's activated and ready to go." Sure, that is after another hour spent with tech support on the phone. This doesn't happen some of the time, it happens all of the time! But, that fixed the problem, so it was an Optimum router issue. Now, one day later, the cable box is giving me an error every time I try to switch the channel with the guide. And the video goes on and off. I have been through all of the troubleshooting procedures with no luck. -Update. After some research and troubleshooting, I found that the cable box uses the modem/router to update the guide. It turns out that the cable box is incompatible with the new modem/router. Hmmm, you think that they would have known that when they issued us the new modem/router. I guess it's another trip to their store. I did find that connecting an Ethernet cable between the router and cable box fixed the problem after a reboot. -Optimum, your Yelp comments from "Business Owner" are not helpful. You see your one-star average review and are doing nothing about it. No business with one-star is worthy of the customers that support them!
