I was told my phone would be shipped out. That didn't happen. After I followed up, I was then told the phone was "lost." On top of that, every customer representative gave me a different explanation. No one had a clear answer, no one took responsibility, and no one gave a real solution. How does a phone just get "lost" after you tell a customer it was shipped? And why is every rep saying something different? That shows a serious lack of communication and accountability. This experience felt misleading from the beginning and completely unorganized afterward. I wish I could give them negative stars. There is always a long wait to get someone to assist you; but that is not the issue. They lie straight to your face. I went in for an extender and they told me it would take 14-21 business days to receive it. After waiting, I called and the rep said the store never placed an order. The online rep handled it and sent it out in 1 day to me. I would say good on the rep, but the 3 weeks prior I did the same thing but that online rep said it could only be done in the store --- which is why I went there to begin with. The internet service is okay at best... very unreliable at times... but the customer service both in store and online SUCKS... if I could switch I would, but they are only carrier in my area. I got what I needed. Yea the wait was long. But they had a lot of folks waiting. I think they did the best they could. Parking lot is huge but all the spots close to the store were taken or reserved for the local restaurants. Staff was nice and seemed to know what they were taking about. We went to this mall location on a Saturday to start new service and get a cable box. We received excellent customer service from a young lady who hailed from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. (Sorry I can't remember her name). She made the process so easy. I tried signing up online prior to this store visit and was too frustrated with the process that I canceled it then traveled to this location to start service in person. One rep on the phone did recommend the best package for my needs at least. read more

Comcast took advantage of my family for years. They overcharged for everything, adding extra fees at every turn, and last year in 2025 they raised our already high rates multiple times without informing me, even though they had my phone, email, and address. I should have watched my bank account more closely but they took advantage of that. We had outdated equipment and the services were low quality despite extremely high prices. Customer service, even self service, was nonexistent unless we visited the local store. "Promotions" were double, sometimes triple the cost of competitors. I was signed up for 1.2 gigabit internet but recently performed a speed test which showed download speed of less than 800 megabits and upload speed of less than 45 megabits. So I finally got a clue and signed up for fiber internet with a competitor and packed up all the equipment and took it to the store to cancel. The employee hopelessly tried to defend the company and talk me out of my decision. I will NEVER do business with Comcast again in the future. read more

I took my elderly mother there to fix her account and add the new package with Apple, Peacock, & Netflix. We worked with a guy for 45 minutes. Almost two weeks later when there was no confirmation from Xfinity for the new service, my mom called & there had been ZERO changes on her account. 45 minutes and that salesman apparently did NOTHING. Disgusting. Who knows how many people he's messed up. And...our first attempt to go to the store several days before our actual 45 minute debacle, at 10 a.m., there was a sign on the window that they would be closed until 1:30 for a staff meeting. ZERO STARS!!! TRASH!!! After SEVEN calls to an utterly useless & deceitful customer service center, my issue still hasn't been resolved! I called Aug 1st to have my services disconnected and was told I was good to go only to be charged again on the next billing cycle. This began my calls to xfinity where I was told different information each call. I was promised a refund for the additional month I was charged AFTER MY ACCOUNT WAS DEACTIVATED. I was told twice during 2 different calls that I'd receive my refund in 2-3 days. It's almost October & I have yet to be refunded! Each rep gave me different requirements for deactivation/refunding & they all quoted different refund amounts. They were very rude & it was clear they had no interest in helping to resolve my issue (with the exception of 1 lady, who was pleasant but didn't resolve my issue) I'm so defeated I'm almost to the point of forfeiting my $80 to this company because after spending hours of my time talking to robots, waiting on hold, & being lied to, I have no hope that I will make any progress. My service was great when I had it, honestly, but my experience with this deactivation was so incredibly terrible that I created this account just now to leave the first review I've ever left in my life! With only 2 associates working, there was a particular gentleman who seemed to help all the customers - juggling back and forth so we all seemed tended to. He had l me in and out. I came into the location to set up a new service. The associate answered all my questions with no rush. I went to the headquarters in The Woodlands Mall to return the equipment and to make a consultation. The customer service staff was rude, indicating that they were too busy to answer all the customers' questions and that I had to wait about 30 minutes to be heard regarding my concern (not even to be attended to), when in reality the person could assist us. I have been into the Woodlands, Texas store twice this week due to expiring promotions on my internet package. On Monday 11/4, I went in to inquire about what we could do to keep costs in check following the upcoming expiration of promotional discounts from my last contract period. The representative (I did not get her name) reviewed both my internet and mobile account and said that due to the end of the promotional period (two years ago) my internet would be going from $35/mo. to $96/mo. plus $25/mo. equipment rental because that promo was ending as well. I asked if there were any options at all such as re-bundling my two-line mobile plan with internet, upgrading phones and/or signing up to a new term contract. She said, "let me check with my manager" and disappeared into the back. A few minutes later she reappeared and stated, "there is nothing we can do". No additional attempt to keep a long-term customer with Xfinity. I investigated options with competitors of Xfinity but if I were to cancel my internet plan with them, they would increase my mobile phone package by $25/line. Basically, they were saying, "we got you and you can't do anything!" Continuing to look for options to keep costs down I elected to purchase a new modem that was compatible with Xfinity and use an older router I already had. This would avoid the $25/mo. equipment rental fee that was going to kick in on the next bill. Today (Thursday 11/7), I travelled to the Woodlands store to return the internet and streaming equipment that was part of the last promotion/contract. I explained to the representative, Rafael, that I was returning the equipment to avoid the future rental fees and again inquired about options to knock down the cost of the internet package. I told him I had been in the store Monday but was told nothing could be done. His response..."we would never say that". Okay then, what can we do? Rafael looked and said he could get the package I was on down to $85/mo. with no mention of a contract commitment. I then showed him a screenshot from my Xfinity account that detailed a $75/mo. charge with a $10/mo. discount for autopay, for a total of $65/mo. He said if I can get it at that price online to get it. I told him I tried but the website won't allow me to complete the transaction. He then stated that the best he could do was the $85/mo. but now with a one-year contract. I said I was hesitant to sign up for one year and asked what the price would be without a contract commitment. He told me $91/mo. and I simply stated... "so you are charging me $6/mo. extra for not having a contract". At that point his demeanor changed, and he got very rude and no longer had time to talk to me as he had a customer waiting. I asked him if I was no longer considered a customer and called him out on being rude/belligerent. He tried to change his tone and forced a quasi-apology. I told him as a customer I was simply trying to ask questions regarding my account, which was certainly within my rights, and I absolutely did not appreciate being treated so rudely. I asked Rafael to please complete the return of the equipment, provide me with a receipt and leave my internet package as it was, and I would look at what my options would be online. In summary, as a long-term customer, never have I had a company representative display such rudeness. If in fact he had a customer waiting was inconsequential, I too am a customer and arrived at the store, checked in as required and Rafael came to serve me when I was up in the que. I would expect a representative to be respectful in a similar fashion as I was being respectful to him. Rafael failed customer service 101 today and poorly represent Xfinity as a whole. It is unfortunate that companies these days believe the customer is irrelevant and are expendable. Rafael...shame on you for abhorrent customer service skills and for being rude/obnoxious/belligerent to a customer of a company you represent. Beware, the service is terrible and they pretty much scammed me out of $800. I went into this store to do a trade in on a iPhone, the rep said that my trade in value of $800 so I proceeded. I purchased a new phone and the rep said I would get a label in the mail for a trade in. I've never received this label. I went in to discuss it in person and it sounds like the rep did not put the transaction in as a trade. Either way, I spent multiple days and over 5hours in the store and no luck, I'm stuck with the new phone (full price) and an old phone that they won't let me trade it in. I've been on the phone for 90 minutes waiting for my transfer pin. The first person had to verify my account, then put me on a brief, 40 minute hold. The next person was brain dead, and had to go through the verification process all over again and promised a 5 minute hold for the transfer pin. I have been on hold for another 30 minutes. So that person canceled our phones, so our first stopped getting service. Probably one of the worst service experiences I've had. I've had problems witg my cable picture being pixelated. I tried waiting for customer service over the phone but after the long wait, I thought I'd go to the store. They get your name, why you're there and put you in line..They tell you that the next available person will help me. Then as you wait, people come in with different types of home equipment and during their screening they tell the employee that they just need to exchange their equipment. Well ... after the 3rd customer that was helped before me, I decided that they clearly didn't want to help. When xfinity is working. It's GREAT!!! But if you need support... Comcast service in general is abosutely horrible. The Woodlands store is a true representation of that. Drove there to exchange some equipment only to find out they don't have it in stock (despite the fact that customer service told me they do). The "apologetic" sheep there told me he'd call me back the next day when the equipment arrives. Guess what: It's been 4 days and no call! When I asked the sheep what the number to the Woodlands locaation was, he told me they do not accept calls. I asked why? He said, "Look around at all the customers waiting in line. It would just slow down help the actual people here." So, I look around and saw 2 customers besides me there. Yes TWO. Wow, busy busy!! So a few days go by and I call the customer service line and was informed that they do not know the local stores' inventory NOR CAN THEY FIND OUT. Wait! Aren't you a communications company?!? How can you not communicate with your stores to find out what they have so I don't have to drive out there again?!? And why can't I call them directly??? Who does this?!? Who works this way? So I'm suppose to drive out there risking them not having the equipment? My alternative is to wait "about" a week for them to ship it to me. "About" a week. Yeah, that sounds promising. Xfinity Mobile, Comcast, Xfinity, I have loved you for nearly a year, you were slightly lower priced than the average, you let me have the S8+ with less than perfect credit, without interest. It even only came out to regular price, my talk/texting was free with my internet service and being old I still use those things. You guys were my favorite thing. Then, I try to add a line and all hell breaks loose. You flag my order for fraud check (manual review) but neglected to tell me.Yes, I do know the email is electronically generated, we went over this. Multiple times, but we'll get to that later. So, after talking to several different departments with lovely people from Colorado and Tennessee and Michigan and elsewhere I learn about the previously mentioned "manual review". The manual review email can't be resent manually (ironic, isn't it?) so we do only logical thing, cancel the order and start over. New order placed, email arrives, documents get sent and then... nothing. No hey Tim, we got them and they're not good enough. No hey Tim, your phone is on it's way we're sorry it took an extra week. Nothing at all. #Ghosted Then, I go buy a prepaid phone to get me through because you and I are committed for the next 15 months or so, otherwise you get lots of money in the divorce and I NEED A PHONE. About a week after that, yesterday, I go into the Xfinity mobile store on Lake Robbins Dr. I talk with the rep. there, prove I'm me ( a manual review by associate IN PERSON, if you will.) We spend about 20-30 minutes together, she makes a phone call. She says "You're all set device will be delivered on Tuesday! Fifteen minutes after leaving the store our old friend the "More information needed" email shows up, once again. For the second time, I submit the documents. This time not just what you asked for because that didn't work before. You got my ID, my social security card, my bank statement, and a note from me telling you why the address where I have my service is different from the one on my ID and bank statements. Now, I called today to check on things because you guys have gotten pretty good at not getting things done and talked to a man who was of no help whatsoever, not that my problem is his. I ask for a supervisor, he says " I cannot transfer you my system is updating, but, I can give you the number." I take the number he gives me. Say thank you and hang up and dial the number. *Ring Ring* A sultry female voice answers with the following line "Welcome to America's hottest chatline Guys....". I immediately hang up and get the number for tier two by calling and speaking to another kind representative about my saga. Finally, I speak to a lovely woman getting over a cold in CO. I have a ticket number and a prayer you make this right! I have been happy with my service until all of this and I'll be damned if I continue to jump through your hoops and get no response from you whatsoever unless I call and track you down. We've lived with poor Comcast service for over 20 years, simply because there is no other cable option in our neighborhood. We live in a small older pocket neighborhood adjacent to The Woodlands... and we still can not get On Demand programming, even though we don't get a break on our bill. On the plus side, the TV service is reasonably reliable, even if we don't get but a fraction of the channels other services provide. The internet has always been a problem... on most of the time, but with windows of failure at regular intervals. As technology improves, and more online options evolve, we will drop out cable service in favor of online sources for entertainment. My recommendation? If you can avoid Comcast... take another train... . read more
