They installed a more compact electronic system and app for our overhead speakers, as well as new security cameras and wiring. They also upgraded our wifi with two ceiling-mounted connections that eliminated all of our small plug-in boosters. Our wifi speed boosted from 500 to 1000. Amazing! Woodlands Home Theater had previously wall-mounted a large media-room TV screen for us as well as the family room TV. We will definitely use them in the future due to their value vs. cost.

We recently needed troubleshooting for our home theater system and my husband made numerous attempts to reach someone at Empire for assistance. Calls were not returned and when he did manage to speak with someone about a service appointment, all he could get was "maybe we can stop by on Friday". Not exactly what we expected given the money we initially spent. Needless to say, no one showed up on Friday. We ended up finding another company that not only returned our calls, they sent a tech out a few days later who quickly resolved our issue. Then he went through our system and pointed out some optimizations that, honestly, should have been made during the installation. When you invest in Control4, any updates/changes have to be made through a dealer, so it's extra annoying when the dealer you purchased through no longer wants your business. We look forward to working with our NEW dealer to install additional home automation and home theater components.
