Having trouble with our system and the only contact number is Bill who is very rude and unhelpful. Our system has been beeping for days. We did not install the alarm. It has been there since we moved in 3 yrs ago. It started beeping 3 days ago and there is no way to make it stop. If we removed the alarm there would be a giant hole in our entry way. Bill Wilson has been super helpful and extremely professional since day one. He stopped by on the day we received our keys for our new home in Lake Elsinore. We had thought about getting a security system but were unsure exactly what types of equipment to purchase, etc. Bill talked with us for quite awhile about different types of security cameras. Just recently purchased a new home in Menifee CA and met Bill one day when I was home for some other appointments. Yes Bill was going door to door but was very respectful and was not pushy what so ever. Bill followed up with me for at least two weeks while I was taking other bids. I finally decided to have Stay Connected Security hook up our system using Monitronics. (Also another reputable company - we use Monitronics for our business in SD). Overall customer service, and their promptness was on point. The installation happened same day we signed papers and only took about an hour and a half. We have at least 16 Windows. It always amazes me that people who leave bad reviews never have their images showing. Rather they hide in the shadows of the internet and as you read their review, the review has nothing to do with the product. Instead it's a review of the person. My past experiences are that the ones who leave bad reviews based on the messenger rather than the product just happen to be unhappy in their lives. And it pleasures them to make someone else pay for their own short comings. Example in one review below, Bill was asked to come back another day. Then when Bill did come back another day as he was told, he apparently came at a time the reviewer was still in bed. Of course this is of no fault of Bill. I know if I went out of my way to return only to be chewed out for no fault of my owned, I would have reacted the same way, if we are to believe the reviewer as to Bill's reaction to the rude homeowner. Enough said: Here is my personal review. I happened to be at my new home to check on the builders progress when Bill walked up and introduced himself. I found Bill to be articulate with a professional demeanor and appearance. Listening to Bill, it was obvious he had an extensive grasp of the Home Security industry. Having personally researched a number of other Home Security options and self install Home Security options, I questioned Bill regarding his services. Bill did defend his product as I would have if it was my business. He discussed the pros and cons of other systems, I did not take his opinions as trashing his competitors. Just advising me of the difference of their services and of Stay Connected Security. Having owned my own businesses, I know you always do your homework by studying who is your competition, as what differences there may be between your business and that of the competitor. Bill went over his companies security products and what I would get installed to warn their monitoring service of a possible unwanted entry into my home. Having just spoken to an ADT representative a few days earlier, I would be getting more door and window sensors installed whereas ADT would have charged me a higher install fee. I liked that (without being asked) Bill took his shoes off coming into the home as to not track outside dirt, grossness into the house. Based on 3 other quotes, I felt Bill had the best equipment as well as information on why his equipment was better than the other guys. Of the 3, Stay Connected was the one we chose and Bill (mentioned in every other review) was certainly the difference. I have 2 businesses each managed by their competitor and based on how the home system works, we may change the business systems as well. We also had the home system installed the same day and have had no problems so far. Price was competitive and didn't feel like we were being up-sold.
