They were nice, and did show up and install the audio and projector after a 3 week delay. Then they delayed the screen by over a month with excuses after excuse. I came across DEFINE and they installed the screen, corrected the improper install of the projector, tuned the audio system to the correct settings(set the sub to correct setting) and were unbelievably good at showing me how to use my system. The best part of the whole process was to learn how much money I saved by using them. I should have started with them. I would have saved over $1500 for the same system. We recently needed troubleshooting for our home theater system and my husband made numerous attempts to reach someone at Empire for assistance. Calls were not returned and when he did manage to speak with someone about a service appointment, all he could get was "maybe we can stop by on Friday". Not exactly what we expected given the money we initially spent. Needless to say, no one showed up on Friday. We ended up finding another company that not only returned our calls, they sent a tech out a few days later who quickly resolved our issue. Then he went through our system and pointed out some optimizations that, honestly, should have been made during the installation. When you invest in Control4, any updates/changes have to be made through a dealer, so it's extra annoying when the dealer you purchased through no longer wants your business. We look forward to working with our NEW dealer to install additional home automation and home theater components.

They were creative with their solutions and thorough with the work. Word of advice...be prepared, because professional installation is pricey. The job took 3 hours longer than expected, and because of the unique nature of my install, they had to leave to purchase supplies. With that said, my surround sound works better than before, I didn't have to install the tv myself, and my husband loves it. So I'm one happy customer!
