I was in need of someone to move my ATT U-verse gateway/modem from behind my TV on the fireplace to an existing Ethernet wiring box that contained Ethernet leads to all my rooms and to two outdoor patio's. Nearly all of the runs needed termination/RJ clips installed at both ends. Part of my reason for doing this is I had one smart TV on WiFi that continually struggled to maintain a connection. Frustrating the wife and thus making my life more complicated than it needed to be! Chris evaluated what I had versus what I wanted to achieve and moved the gateway as described, put end clips on all cable runs, hard wired my WiFi extender and helped me restore the existing surround sound system in my Living Room such that it now functions once again. He mounted up a network rack, terminated my 18 or so Cat6 runs (used for data drops, cameras, and APs). Had a great experience with Chris. I called, we setup a time for him to come out, look at our house, and understand exactly what our goals for the project were. In our case, we had a Comcast wifi modem at the corner of an older (i.e., no ethernet) house, and, even with some off the shelf, consumer grade mesh equipment and a 1GB Xfinity subscription, we were struggling to get good enough wireless signal strength to take work videoconferences without occasionally dropping. Chris suggested a product type and approach, and we went back and forth as he and I did some digging on different options and thought more about future needs as children get older, etc. We settled on a pretty extensive solution - 3 ports throughout the home, fiber cabling in between ports, and multiple wifi access points. The two sides of our house have very minimal connection via attic space, so we were unsure how we could wire both halves. Chris was able to get into all the attic spaces, including crawl spaces, to figure out how we could connect both sides of the house. The work ultimately took about 3 days. We ended up installing a camera as well because we had wiring running right by the front door. Chris was happy to leave an ethernet cable for camera hookup in the future (it was his idea to think about this) but we ended up installing the camera on his last trip out. We're thrilled with the solution. We're pulling ~960 mb/s down in 3 rooms via ethernet and ~300 mb/s down and 40 mb/s up across the rest of the house via wireless. The connection strength is really stable, so no more dropped/buffered VCs. The project wasn't cheap. We went with Chris's recommendations as both my wife and I work from home multiple days a week, and we were optimizing for performance over cost. Can't say enough how happy we are with the work. I would recommend Chris highly to anyone. The solution looks and works great, and, as other reviewers mentioned, Chris cleaned up every day and left no mess behind for us to deal with. read more

My house was pre-wired for ethernet connections throughout the house when it was built 18 years ago. However, my internet provider put my modem in the game room vs the network closet. As a result, We had to use wi-fi instead of direct ethernet connection in various rooms throughout the house because the ethernet ports weren't connected to the modem/router. We have been using wi-fi for everything throughout the house (except the game room where the router/modem was) but with 5 people in the house streaming Netflix, gaming, etc. we were getting some lag. CWS moved the modem/router to the network closet and installed a 24-port switch to handle all of the ethernet ports in the house. Also, the old phone ports were converted to ethernet ports so that they could be used for internet connections since there is no longer a need for a landline. I am now able to connect my streaming devices directly to ethernet so I can watch Netflix or MLB TV and not get the lag I was getting. Highly recommend. read more

I found Chris to be professional and detail oriented. I enjoyed working with him and was very pleased with the service I received. I had a large TV to be mounted over the fireplace. Chris took the time to measure everything precisely. Even making sure the level of the TV worked with my viewing angle. Also, because we were using a recessed mount, we had to cut a large hole in the drywall. Chris made a clean cut and afterwards put the drywall back creating a nice patch and vacuumed up after himself. Chris made sure the structure of the fireplace would support the extra weight and even suggested painting the interior of the opening black so that when the TV was extended you would not see the interior wall through areas not covered by the mount.
