Holy Cow! You may want to think twice about using this company! I hired them to do a simple job. I needed two Cat5 drops installed at my home and to mount two wireless access points. It turned out to be a fiasco! (It started on a Wednesday) He ran the drops but did not understand the instructions for using the Aruba wireless/ HPe access point mounting kits (part number: AP-220-MNT-W2W). In the process, he cut up and damaged one of the mounts as well as made over 8 screw holes in my ceiling. When he was "complete" he quickly took my check and left. Within the first hour of his departure, the AP's received power via POE, but no data. I immediately called and texted him about the issue. He assured me that he was currently going to his next job, but would return the following day (Thursday). The next morning, I texted him at around 8:30 am to confirm he would return that day to correct the cabling issues. I received a reply, that he was indeed planning on returning that day to fix things. At 2:22 pm, I once again texted him to see what the ETA was on returning. His reply was that he was finishing up a job and would text me when he was on the way. At 6:33 pm, I received no calls or texts, so I once again texted him to see if he was indeed still coming. The reply was "I'm heading to pull footage for the cops", whatever that means..... After that text, I never received a call or text again. Fast forward to Sunday, where I had to hire another cabler to come in and fix this guys shotty work. In short, he made several unnecessary holes in my ceiling, cut up and damaged an AP mount kit, and literally mis-wired the RJ-45 end connectors. He literally flipped the pinouts from left to right. In short, clearly, this guy is a jack-leg who doesn't know what he is doing with regards to Cat5 drops, RJ-45, Ethernet, and keystone connectors. GHS destroyed a $360 security camera during a 6 hour installation where nothing was accomplished. Went to mediation and agreed to a partial settlement. GHS didn't pay it. Successfully filed for default judgment. Reached out early November in hopes of getting paid something. He promises to write a check but doesn't say how much it's for. A month goes by and no check. His response was "I thought you had received it". Yeah right. Then he says he will drop it off at my house that day. Again no check. Now he's saying he didn't mail it because I wrote a bad review and if I want any money at all I have to delete the review. Wonder how many other people he's pulled this with? This man has not kept his word to me so many times I'm losing count. read more

Please do yourself a favor and do not use these company. Showed up same day as my call which looked good and that was the end of the positive experience. Nothing is finished. No responses. I paid in full prior to the job (lesson learned). It's been 4 months and no responses. Pretty much the worst experience working with a contractor I've ever had. BUYER BEWARE!! In January 2019 I hired and paid for the owner of Gladiator Home Security to install a security camera system, a Ring Doorbell 2 Interactive Video Doorbell, mount/set-up a new TV and configure a Logitech Universal remote. When I interviewed the owner along with three other home security contractors, I found his price to be reasonable, and was impressed with his attention to detail regarding installation as well as his steadfast assurances of customer service after installation. The installation appointment was scheduled to begin at 12:00 noon. When the owner and his son showed up 5 hours late for the installation, I should have realized my error in choosing Gladiator Home Security. During the time that I was waiting for him to arrive I did call to ask if I had made a mistake on the installation date. He returned my call and stated he was running late because he had to pull footage for the cops (I had no idea what that meant) but would be at my house soon. He arrived at my home at 6:00 PM and did not leave my house until 11:00 PM that evening. During that time, he had only installed the components that comprise the camera surveillance system and Ring Doorbell, and mounted the new television. It did not include the work that needed to be done to set-up and configure the new television and remote. I learned later that the gentleman who would complete this work was not an employee of Gladiator Home Security, but rather someone whom the owner knew that worked at Fry Electronics. The assumption was that ALL of the work would be done in one day; separate arrangements had to be made with the gentleman who worked at Fry to complete the work at a later date and time. At the beginning of December I texted the owner to let him know that my camera surveillance system had been offline since August. Approximately 8 days went by and I did not hear from him via text, email or phone. I called his mobile phone and he answered, telling me that he had been ill but would come by the following Saturday at 12:00 to have a look at my system. He stated that he needed to come by before the next week because he would be going out of town the following week. In the interim, he advised me to turn off the system for 5 minutes, then reboot, that doing so may resolve the issue. I did as he suggested. This action did not solve the problem. I called and left a message on his mobile phone to let him know that his directive was not successful and that I would see him that upcoming Saturday. The owner never showed up nor did he call or text to let me know he was not coming. Long story short - four additional appointments were scheduled with the owner of Gladiator Home Security, all of which he did not attend. Even after calling and speaking with him or his wife after missed appointments, he would not show up to subsequent scheduled appointments. It appears that Gladiator Home Security is happy to take your money but does not intend to provide customer service of any type. read more

Gladiator was the only home security company that would actually call me back. They showed up a little early, went above and beyond to fix my issues, and actually gave me good advice on some upgrades I wanted done.... and it was actually that there were some better options that I could purchase and install myself. I'll for sure use them for all my security needs. read more

Avoid this company!! I hired Gladiator to update the outdated security system in a recently purchased home. They didn't install one of the two keypads or my ring door bell. My home was broken into and the security system didn't work ,and I had no doorbell to get video of the guy who broke in. I've called and texted many times and they never returns calls/texts. The owner of the company actually hung up on me several times when I had Brinks call him and transfer me over to him. I requested a number of quotes from other companies for an install and setup for a 4k, 5 camera security system. Their price was competitive and I decided to go with Gladiator. They are family owned, extremely professional and polite. Their work was excellent from the camera installation to the dvr system setup.
