I got involved with this company years ago, and unfortunately the system has never lived up to the expectations that were set during the sales process. Based on my experience, I can't recommend it to others. The sales demo was impressive. They demonstrated a camera capturing a readable license plate from approximately 200 yards away. In real-world use, my experience has been nothing like that. For example, when my neighbor experienced a theft directly across the street, my system failed to capture any usable images that could help identify the suspects or their vehicle. When I raised these concerns, I was told the poor image quality was because I was viewing the footage on my phone. I purchased a high-quality monitor to eliminate that excuse, but the video quality remained well below what was demonstrated during the sales presentation. I also purchased what I believe was an eight-camera system, including a PTZ camera that was advertised as automatically tracking people and vehicles around my home. Despite multiple service visits to "fine tune" the system, it has never performed as advertised. The tracking has been inconsistent, and the overall performance has been disappointing. Another frustration has been the lack of documentation. I was never provided with clear information explaining the capabilities, limitations, or proper configuration of the various cameras, making it difficult to know whether the system was operating as intended or simply not capable of delivering what was promised. Now, with the company's Chapter 11 bankruptcy, I'm left feeling that many of the promises made during the sales process were unrealistic. Whether the issues stem from overpromising, poor implementation, or something else, the end result has been the same: a system that has not met my expectations despite repeated attempts to resolve the problems. This experience has been an expensive lesson. I genuinely hoped the system would provide the level of security that was advertised, but after years of ownership and multiple service visits, I cannot recommend it. Will not disclose contract terms run as fast as you can! Run do not walk far away from this company. Slimey tactics and don't even train their salesmen properly. They will tell you they have gone over everything that's in the docusign and to just sign the places. They don't tell you they will hold you hostage in a 60 month contract. I've talked to multiple old employees who have been taken advantage by this company and will be reaching out to a lawyer to discuss my options as this company is slimey and sleezy beyond belief. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR LIES AND TACTICS. They will take advantage of you whether your a civilian or law enforcement don't care they just want to take advantage of everyone. They lock you into a contract because they have the worst Customer service. I fully intend to expose them to all the news stations and social media networks. I have used Ageint Security for over six months now and could not be happier with my system. I have multiple cameras covering the front, back, and sides of my house. Let me tell you these cameras are awesome! I have a PTZ camera that can track people as they come up my driveway so I never lose sight of them. The customer service I have experienced has been way more than I would have expected. Anytime I have had a question or needed something, someone always got back to me very quickly. Their monitoring service has been quick to let me know if my alarm has ever gone off. Which it has because of the cat getting the zoomies a few times. I signed the contract for the cameras on 8/7/21. The Ageint Salesperson, Brian, sent the docusign only to me. I was under the impression that the docusign was for the cost of the cameras only, so I mistakenly did not read the entire contract as I mistakenly trusted Ageint. I was looking for the cost of the cameras, $6,527.25, to sign off on so that the order could be quickly transferred to financing. We were not told by Brian that we would be placed in a monitoring contract for 5 years. My husband, Craig, is listed on the contract, however it was only sent to me for signature. I believe if it would have been sent to both of us as it should have been, then this would have been caught. It wasn't until I contacted Ageint to cancel the service due to us moving that I was told we were under a contract, and I owed $934.97 in order to cancel the contract. Please see estimate 2695 attached. I spoke with Veronica in Accounting and what I understood from that conversation is that she was going to provide us with a discount to remove our cameras and reinstall them at our new home. Please see estimates 2768 and 2769. To remove our cameras would be $1181.01 and to reinstall would be $1399.67. We paid Ageint $6527.25 for cameras that aren't even worth 15% of that. The control panel no longer works, and the cameras are not the best technology. I believe that we were conned. I realize that I should have read the contract thoroughly before signing, however I was not looking nor expecting for something to be snuck in. I was concentrating on the amount of the cameras and confirming that was correct before they submitted to financing. The thought of paying Ageint $2,580.68 to uninstall and reinstall these substandard cameras is mind-boggling as well as paying $934.97 to cancel a contract that was snuck in. We should have been verbally told that we were signing a five-year contract in addition to purchasing this substandard cameras/system. We filed a complaint with the the BBB and they were unresponsive. Not surprised. I do not recommend this company. read more

the install of our equipment has been a nightmare, august 2024 the technicians sent where not of top quality, one sat on my desk and tried to flirt with me during the install then we had nothing but issues for 2 1/2 months. It's been about 5 months since we got our Ageint Security system. I have had zero issues with it. I have been nothing but impressed. I posted some pictures below. One being a screen shot of my phone and one in my "man cave." I get alerts anytime someone comes into the "Geo Fence." Which is a perimeter you and the technician set upon instillation. With being a new Dad and working 24 hour shifts as a firefighter, having to leave my newborn and wife at home, I can't tell you how much better I feel knowing they have that extra layer of security. Many of my friends have moved to this company, leaving their old security system because of how impressed they were when I showed them my setup. Not to mention, they take care of first responders!! Can't add pictures here but after being shown what they had to offer by salesman and stated cost was tad under 4k fir 4 camera system they came out. Priced a 6 camera system and added almost 3k more totalling right at 7k After installation had hard time getting help functioning then noticed I could not zoom to see plates on vehicles and distorted not clear. Was told by owner it was because I was using my cell phone and to buy a cheap monitor for office. I said ok and bought midgrade and still bad imaging. They brought out a ptz qty-1 and said try this. Same bad quality I messaged and emailed complaining then after 2 months and finally posting information from salesman on Facebook he argued with me then deleted what I posted he sent to me during sale. Finally decided to leave a Google review and did. Days later got a call from their quality department asking about issues then stated they wanted to make it right and just go ahead and replace all with the best they have. I felt like wow that's great. He said he'll schedule a time to come out and meet and once they replace and I accept to please remove review and leave a good review. He showed up, we talked and then he said he'd give me 1 more ptz and take other camera's there. I replied then I won't have camera's on other side of property then he said I'd have to spend another 2k or so then I'd have 3 camera's. I said no sir, I pd way more than initially agreed and got a trash system. I agreed to 3 ptz that should cover what my 6 cover and we'd be good. They since haven't fixed or replaced the issues. I continued to have problems and their tech would troubleshoot problems over the phone until I insisted that he come by. But thanks to these guys we had our technician back on the road in a couple of hours. I can't overstate how impressed I am with my experience with AGEINT and their cameras. I was referred to them by a coworker. When Darryl came out to the house to tell me about the system he was great. Very friendly and easy to talk to. Very upfront and honest with what they have and why it's good. I didn't feel pressured. I like when a company lets the product and quality of their workmanship do the sales. That is what you get with AGEINT. After we decided to sign up everything moved pretty smoothly. They called quickly to get the installation set up. The installation crew was very friendly and hard working. I liked how they explained what they were going to do and how long it should take so I was as informed as possible. Once the cameras were installed they gave a training on how to use the system and helped optimize it for what we wanted. I am seriously blown away at the quality of these cameras. We have had a few WiFi cameras in the past but they are nothing compared to these. The cameras are high resolution enough you can actually see faces and license plates on cars. It's incredible. Also there really is almost no lag time from when someone crosses into the camera view and when it starts recording and notifies you. All WiFi cameras are at least a few seconds delayed. I tend to travel a bit for work and these cameras will help my wife feel more at ease at night. She can just pull up her phone and see our entire property in high definition. Another thing about the company is their follow up and customer service. They do a great job of communicating with you and following up. Calls and texts making sure that you are happy and that you know exactly how to reach them if you do have a question or concern.
