Audio and Video Dreams made this easier than I imagined. Upgraded the entire Home Theater with new flush mounted speakers, new receiver and new sub-woofer. Many others wouldn't take on the job due to the weight of the shelf, but Audio and Video Dreams came in with a plan and got the job done . I was looking to have a TV mounted and called 5 different TV install companies in Tomball listed on Google. Robert with Audio and Video Dreams was the only one to contact me back and I'm extremely happy he did. Robert was a great communicator throughout the process including transparency about the install price and timing. When Robert arrived, he was quick and effeccient, in addition to being extremely friendly. The final job was exactly as promised. Highly recommend Audio and Video Dreams for all your needs. read more

I needed two TVs wall mounted with new power outlets and Robert was able to provide me with a quote over the phone. He came out with a colleague and did a stand up job! They were professional and courteous, even talked to my dog. They were able to get retrying set up in about an hour. Real quality work and clean installation, he can even get you better pricing on certain TVs and audio. Definitely recommend them for your home video/audio needs! read more

Audio & Video Dreams really do live up to their name! Making your A&V Dreams a reality! Upon extensive online research, I carefully chose who I wanted to install a stereo system in our living room. After calling and discussing my requests with Robert, he arrived in just a few hours. Robert was able to coach me into making the right choices in retrofitting the correct speakers and their locations, introducing me to Dolby Atmos. After our discussion I decided to use Robert to install my Tough Dog security system, cleanly organizing all internal wires running through a central system I can access right in my closet. One quality I appreciated about Robert is his knowledge and perfectionism on A&V. If you are looking for an honest and knowledgeable installer, call Robert with A&V Dreams. read more

If I could give 10 stars I would! I was beyond frustrated with my outdoor pool audio system! We could never get the speakers to communicate with the receiver correctly from the beginning. We had geek squad come out and they were there two hours and still couldn't fix it. Robert came out and had every speaker working and communicating through an app and one remote in 15 minutes!! He is a God sent! Highly recommend! read more

Worth every penny! Parts, labor, and peace of mind were all worth the price to hire Robert. Highly recommended. I felt very confident in Robert's experience after the initial consult. He was an excellent communicator and convinced me that my initial plan would not be good long term. I'm very happy with the final results. He installed my 60 in LED TV on a full motion wall mount, added an electrical outlet and concealed all cords behind the wall in about 45 minutes. I've mounted a plasma TV in the past but I'm very glad I didn't do it this time. read more

Family business who cares about their customers and does great work at a fair price! First let me say that I am a AV novice. We are updating our home after 13 yrs and needed to exit the Archie Bunker era and catch up with todays technology. We decided to add a TV over our fireplace, but had no idea where to start. Rob responded to my Yelp inquiry almost immediately and within 24hrs had outline a plan for us to get the modern entertainment we wanted within a reasonable budget. He did the full electrical and AV wiring install quickly and cleanly and I will defiantly use again! Thanks Robert! Work complete! Highly recommend read more

Robert knows what he is doing and that is very important. We built a new cabinet and wanted to install our brand new 65" vizio in it. Robert was quick to respond on my quote request and executed flawlessly. He even came to ensure my carpenters were on cue with the build and relocated my outlet in advance. Will surely call him whenever I have audio, video and networking needs. read more

Simply amazing. Within 15 mins received a response - and discussion. Two hours later - he and partner were here in my house installing two 65" TVs on the wall. Suffice to say - extremely professional and omg - the final product. What style and professional touches. Could not be more pleased. Wish I could give them 6 Stars! Simply amazing!!!! read more

Robert is AMAZING to work with and provides top notch service! He listens and consults to ensure you're getting the right products and services you want/need at a very competitive price point. No over-selling. He made sure we understood how to work everything and that the sound quality was perfect. Strong work ethic... you can tell he takes pride in his work! Highly recommend! read more

Audio and Video Dreams is the best. We started working with Robert Hamer when we first moved into our home 10+ years ago and he's still our go-to guy for all things AV today! We had a full movie room set up with big screen, surround sound, and an entertainment set up for our family room with inside/outside audio. We love it still to this day! So easy to use, and all things on one remote (that mattered to me). Always an honest fair price and genuinely cares about our AV experience and he's super friendly. Check them out! read more

I asked for a quote. Robert called me right away. He texted me a quote within minutes that was very reasonable. When Robert and Brandon arrived, Robert made some suggestions that he believed would enhance what I wanted done. And of course he was correct. That is why I hire professionals with a lot of experience instead of paying a talented but inexperienced "buddy" to do the project. Hiring someone who already knows how everything will look before the work begins is invaluable because it means I will do it once and love it, instead of having to do it twice. The finished project was much better than I even imagined it would turn out. The price was very reasonable. I especially appreciate their attention to detail and cleanliness, protecting existing electronic equipment during construction, and when work was completed, the area was so clean no one would have guessed the work that had just been completed. During the process, they were very polite, professional, and they made sure the completed project would be perfect and a great addition to my home. I will have more projects in the future and will definitely hire them again. I highly recommend Audio and Video Dreams. Robert and his team are awesome! read more

Robert and his son did an outstanding job of connecting our surround sound to the tv in our living room as well as remounting the tv. We were very skeptical of having the tv remounted after the first failed attempt with a handyman, but with Robert's background experience, my husband was convinced to give it another try. The price was very reasonable. He and his son were very professional and helpful. Great work, great service and good on time! I would definitely recommend them and use again if needed. read more

Audio and Video Dreams is a company you must use for audio and video needs! I found Audio and Video Dreams after doing a Google search and read all of the positive reviews. I called Audio Video and Dreams and Robert came to my house the same day to give me an estimate. I hired Robert to install surround sound system in my media room and the installation was very professional. He really cares about the quality of his work. Robert is a perfectionist and expended time and patience explaining the functionality of the system. I was so impressed with Robert's service that I hired them to mount a TV. Robert and is a consummate professional and will recommend his company to my family and friends. read more

I've used Audio and Video dreams for a few projects, and while I agree they sometimes take a while to respond or schedule the project, they are worth the short wait. Professional and courteous. Reasonably priced for hanging TVs (will provide hardware as well) and wifi/cat6. read more

For our surround sound system, Robert was a miracle worker in terms of organizing/cleaning up our giant mess of cords from the previous owner of our house, as well as quickly setting up our new system. You can tell he is an expert in his field, passionate about his line of work, and in addition to getting everything setup, he also gave very good suggestions about our new TV settings - we were actually going to exchange for a better TV but it turns out we just weren't using it correctly (so this saved us money!). He was also able to cleanup and organize cords that our security system provider should have done, but unfortunately did not. His quote was reasonable, he is super responsive, and his work was very fast. We will definitely plan to contact him again as we add future zones to our surround sound system. read more

Highly recommend Robert and his team if you need assistance with a home theater set up. Professional from start to finish. He answered my request promptly and showed up on time for our appointment. Once onsite they helped troubleshoot a TV mount I was having issues with. Then were able to assist with running wires (drilling hidden holes into a built-in), install a bracket, and get the TV hung. Would definitely use again! read more

Robert, Robert, Robert!!! THANK YOU! I was in the market for a state of the art home theatre set up and I knew I would have to come out of pocket for a professional but I wanted the quality of the work to be stellar. Robert and Audio and Video Dreams surpassed my expectation. His quote was true, trustworthy, knowledgeable with no underhanded gimmicks or changes, quality industry standard equipment, professional installation, fast turnaround time, and integrity out of this world. I cannot thank you enough-- my set up was cost efficient and the sound design is beautiful. I've never been more excited, and I will forever utilize your services.. Robert was kind enough to fit us in at very short notice since another company failed to show up. He was brusque and yet a little know-it-all-ish at the same time. He said things like visible wires were like nails on a chalkboard and he will not do them. However, he did have a lot of good information and once we got past his demeanor, he was able to give us ideas on how to set up both our family room and our media room in our new home. His visit was on May 5. He was supposed to get us an estimate. On May 6 I sent him a text asking him to add a couple of more items to the estimate. That was the last time I heard from him. It is now May 12. I just sent him another text and maybe he will reply. My husband is disabled and we just really want to get a nice area set up for him to watch movies and TV. But I guess we will end up using another service. Thank you anyway. Let me just edit this now to say that Robert had enough time to call me this morning and was rather upset at this review. I was just honestly stating how I felt about our interaction. Again, thank you anyway. And yet another update: Text message from Robert at 11:16 a.m. today "After helping you with design ideas and telling you the truth about your pre-wire scenario and not being able to put the TV on the fireplace. You insist on doing this. It's easy for someone who sits at a desk to complain about companies that they know nothing about. I need to respectfully decline your project." I am sorry that you are so upset about this. You failed to get me an estimate. You did not have the project in your hands to decline. I am actually glad we decided to go another way, because he was really irate and obviously not able to take constructive criticism. read more

70" TV into dry wall. Robert was quick to respond, the price was reasonable and he was very knowledgeable about what I needed. Him and his son Brandon were prompt on their arrival which was very soon after I called because he was in the area. The job took about 30 mins or so, all my wires were nicely hidden in the wall, they vacuumed up all of the dry wall dust, programmed my remotes and setup my soundbar that I had on my previous TV. The price included the mount. I would definitely recommend his services, very professional and polite. read more

To call Robert a technician is an understatement. He is an architect. I would call him Solution Architect. His IT and networking knowledge is at highest level. Why does it come handy when all you want is your TV mounted and sound system installed? Well it does if you want your home prewired with lan hookup to all the smart TVs and professionally hide the internet boxes like roku, apple tv behind tv. We got estimates from people who said conduit was the best way to go because our home wasn't prewired. Then came Rob to our rescue. His innovative ideas made us re-plan the two sound systems ideas that we had . Switched them between living room and media room and viola we have a neat looking setup. Keep in mind ROB has a smarty pants sense of humor but it goes well with his personality. Rob aka 4k Rob is a genius. I am getting compliments from everyone who sees the job that Rob has done. Calling him for estimates was the best thing I could have done. Yes it helps to shop around but once you realize the potential of the sales man and his vision, it doesn't always help to talk him down in price. Thank you ROB. Once I get HD cable I will let you know ;) read more

Audio And Video Dreams - Living Room - Home Theatre Installation Near Me

After a bad thunderstorm, here in Magnolia TX , my home theater system was in the blitz. I called Robert Hamer with Audio and Video Dreams. He was at my front door within an hour! AND, had it fixed soon after. I was worried, BEST BUY had turned me down, bc of the virus they were not sending out any technicians. My TV is our main source of entertainment since everyone having to bunker down at home. Robert was very friendly but also cautious by keeping his distance and left his shoes on the porch. I thought that was very kind of him bc he is the one that took the risk for a customer. I was so impressed that I'm going to have him give me a quote on updating my wi-fi system. Can't wait!! Thank you Audio and Video Dreams, LLC. read more

Having spent many years in the "Audio Business" I had a good idea of what I wanted (sound wise) from my new Home Theatre system. In this instance..,I am "downsizing" from a separate Audio and Video systems...to one, that is more "Wife Friendly"...but that would serve both purposes without giving up the Audio performance I value most! Now...even an old Geezer like myself, (after being out of the business for more more than a few years) is wise to admit that things have changed drastically in the last 10 years!! Suffice it to say... the integration of Audio and Video is a whole different animal these days, and requires careful equipment selection and installation by a professional who can assess your needs, how you intend to use the system.., and has the skill and knowledge to bring all these factors together to deliver the performance you are looking for...(from the equipment you have selected).. all the while tailoring it to your environment!! Robert, with AudioVideo Dreams... is just such a person, and operates just that type of Company!! Even though he would probably say I drove him a little "nutty" with my questions, concerns, and specific requirements (about the installation) ...he fulfilled everything I asked, and did so in a timely..efficient manor! He left my home as he found it, and like a professional...treated our home with care and respect while doing the installation work. The price I paid was more than fair (though not necessarily the cheapest)...and was agreed upon in advance. Upon completion...there were no surprises! Keep in mind...if you want the "absolute cheapest deal"...he may not be the guy for you!! There are plenty of hackers and "fly by niters" who will do that type of work! But if you want a well integrated Home Theatre...(installed in a professional manor) by someone who can maximize your investment with his knowledge of the latest formats, cables, and products in the Home Theatre Industry...Robert's your Guy!! As Consumers...sometimes we put off getting an estimate till we're "ready"! Then, once we have the equipment, we call an Installer and expect a detailed, (instantaneous) quote, over the phone...(not to mention "Next Day Installation") ;) Do yourself a favor...don't call on a Friday...expecting the work to be completed on Saturday!! Plan ahead a little! Realize that professionals like Robert are busy for a reason...and it will be well worth your while to have it done right...the first time...by a professional... who will be there if you need help, (or additional equipment down the road), and stands behind everything he does and sells!! I have another small project to be completed as we speak, and am glad to not have to "hope" I can find someone to do the work right!! Using AudioVideo Dreams...I can be assured it will!! Thanks Robert! read more

Robert did an excellent job installing our in-ceiling surround sound, mounting a couple of our TVs and hooking up LEDs to the back of our Living room TV. Everything looks and sounds great! Robert came out and installed our TV & Speakers over the fireplace mantle and installed 2 separate AC access points that provided load balancing. What a relief it was to FINALLY talk with someone who knows exactly what they're doing! Robert did work for us back in December 2014. He is a supremely talented individual. One can definitely tell that he loves what he does. He showed up to our scheduled appointment/consultation. He gave us excellent suggestions and recommended Jerry Alvarez to build a custom built-in for our home theater system. He promptly e-mailed a quote to us and, of course, we accepted. Once Jerry finished our built-in (which is gorgeous!) Robert was ready to do his magic. He showed up a couple of days later and went right to work. He masterfully delivered on everything he said he would do. He worked tirelessly from 8am-5pm and even came back the very next day to calibrate our system exactly the way we wanted it. We called him after the holidays for help and he came right over the very next day. We could not be happier with his quality of work and service. We highly recommend him. Thank you, Robert! read more

Robert and Brandon are truly masters of their profession! They set up our entire home AV needs. Great experience with Robert from the start. He answered on my first call and gave me all the information and details over the phone of what his installations provided. I booked him on Friday and he was out by Monday to do the service. He would have been there Saturday had my brick fireplace not required parts that were only sold/available on business days. We texted easily back and forth about the information he needed to be prepared on Monday. Lastly, he was a pleasure to have at the house, again running through the process of what he was going to do. He was done within an hour and a half. read more

Tried to get a quote to mount my TV based on Yelp recommending this company. The response told me to text the details of the project. From the start the business only wanted to sell me another perform the service I needed. First my mount was wrong and I needed to buy a new one, then why did I buy my TV the specs are bad. Why did I buy my mount elsewhere I paid too much, and etc... As soon as I said I wanted to move forward with my equipment and asked for an install date, no response. I guess as soon as they figured out they could not up sell me I was not worth their time. read more

Was very impressed with the quality of the work performed, however it is not exactly the work I wanted. Robert did not consult with me on where exactly I wanted my TV placed before mounting it. He placed it over the mantle where I asked, but he placed it directly on top of the mantle, effectively killing my use of the mantle. I did not notice it until he was gone (he started the installation before I got home), and I emailed and asked him to center the TV between the mantle and celing. He said he would come back to do it...haven't heard from him since. A bigger issue I have is that the written estimate he gave me states at the bottom that he will only take partial payment at the beginning of the project with the rest due upon completion. When he ran my card however, he charged the full amount. I let it slide, because I was sure he was going to do a great job. In retrospect, I wish I had made him refund the full amount and take a partial payment as he said. At least that way I would have had some sway over having him install the TV the way I wanted. Now he has made it obvious he has no reason to come back. read more
