Based on my experience, I can't recommend it to others. The sales demo was impressive. They demonstrated a camera capturing a readable license plate from approximately 200 yards away. In real-world use, my experience has been nothing like that. For example, when my neighbor experienced a theft directly across the street, my system failed to capture any usable images that could help identify the suspects or their vehicle. When I raised these concerns, I was told the poor image quality was because I was viewing the footage on my phone. I purchased a high-quality monitor to eliminate that excuse, but the video quality remained well below what was demonstrated during the sales presentation. I also purchased what I believe was an eight-camera system, including a PTZ camera that was advertised as automatically tracking people and vehicles around my home. Despite multiple service visits to "fine tune" the system, it has never performed as advertised. The tracking has been inconsistent, and the overall performance has been disappointing. Another frustration has been the lack of documentation. I was never provided with clear information explaining the capabilities, limitations, or proper configuration of the various cameras, making it difficult to know whether the system was operating as intended or simply not capable of delivering what was promised. Now, with the company's Chapter 11 bankruptcy, I'm left feeling that many of the promises made during the sales process were unrealistic. Whether the issues stem from overpromising, poor implementation, or something else, the end result has been the same: a system that has not met my expectations despite repeated attempts to resolve the problems. This experience has been an expensive lesson. I genuinely hoped the system would provide the level of security that was advertised, but after years of ownership and multiple service visits, I cannot recommend it. When friends, neighbors, or coworkers ask for advice about home security systems, I encourage them to carefully research other options before making a decision.

It started in 2017 when a salesman named John Warman came out to give me a quote.. he seemed like a nice guy, we agreed to few services to get the security system up/running but when tech came out to do the work it was 1400.00 more than the agreed upon amount! Should've never signed a 3 yr contract but went against better judgment & have paid for it the last 36 months to the tune of 49.99 * 36 months and many service calls to fix what was broken at our own expense because wasn't done properly the 1st, 2nd or even 3rd time! After tech fixed the cameras without fail 1 of them would go offline within 2 weeks prompting another call and another service trip! All in all we spent over 3000.00 in 3 years to fix the problems that for whatever reason were never resolved properly! The panels in my bedroom & laundry room literally fell off the walls and there were a multitude of errors on the panel and through the app on my phone however there was NOT EVEN 1 call ever placed to me by Itech.. not 1 security alarm ever sounded regarding any issue or breach in 36 months! They just happily took my money and the final straw came just 2 days ago when I cancelled my contract since thankfully i had full-filled my 36 mth contract (best day ever) they had the audacity to send me a bill for 75% of September's monitoring fee for not giving them 30 days notice in writing after my contract expired on 8-17-20 that I owed them 40.00 more dollars! Just overall terrible company and its been a nightmare dealing with them last 3 years! Take your hard earned money & invest it elsewhere especially if you truly want to keep your family safe!

The kitchen window was smashed, I was cleaned out of all valuables and ID, and my puppy was terrorized. The only response I've gotten from Central Security was that I must not have set it correctly, therefore it was my fault. They sent someone out to check the system. He had been drinking and smelled of alcohol, and had trouble turning off the system. Since then, no one will return my calls nor talk to me when I call. My advice? I know what to expect from burglars. I now trust the burglars more than these people.

Technician arrived and said the dis-connect for the furnace in the attic needed to be replaced, but he didn't have one in his truck and would have to run into town to get one. Couple of hours later he came back and installed the fuse box, but that didn't do anything. Then he said the capacitor needed to be changed, so he changed that. Total bill came to $556, which is ridicu-lous. I was charged 3 hours labor, 2 of which were for him going into town to get a part. BTW, there's a Home Depot 15 mins. from my house where he could have pur-chased one for less than $20 (he charged me $109.25). He said the furnace wasn't wired correctly, but he couldn't rewire it so he said he disconnected one of the heating elements. He said I would still have heat, but not full heat until the other heat-ing element was reconnected. Today, when I turned on the heater, there was no heat.
