I would never, under any circumstances, do business with Rikman Services for Professional Services. After providing adequate installation of a Generac Generator, the owner convinced me to take his special financing deal which he said was interest free. It turns out Rikman is selling a scam package along with Generac and Synchrony Bank where they do this bait and switch. They do tricks with payment timings (so you never see a true balance before it is time to make the next payment,) and fine print, and instead of providing interest free payments, they flip a switch. We found out today Rikman together with Generac and Synchrony Bank have collectively charged us more than twice the installation cost, even though we actually had the cash to pay for it in full at the time. Contracted through Lowe's Installation Services for a Standby Generator installation. Rikman Services/Master Diggers cut my properly marked gas supply line to my house while digging a trench for a generator installation on September 21st, 2023. The workers left my property without notifying me of the fact that they had cut my gas line. They folded the gas line over and attempted to stop the leak with a tie down (picture). Rickman Services/Master Diggers left my property with a known active gas leak which could have killed me, my neighbor, and burned down both of our houses. I inspected their work after they left, smelled a gas leak, and immediately called CenterPoint Energy, Rikman Services, and Lowe's. Rikman and Master Diggers stated that the workers did not notify me (even though I was home) because their workers do not speak English (even though I had a conversation with them before they started work). Master Diggers was planning on returning later in the day to repair the gas line themselves. I was absolutely shocked to hear this. I'm willing to bet this is not the first time this has happened and Rickman Services/Master Diggers have patched (illegally) multiple natural gas lines they have cut. No one is allowed to repair CenterPoint's gas lines but CenterPoint. Rikman and Master Diggers were attempting to save a few dollars by doing the repair themselves which would have put my life and property at great danger. This company installed my whole house generator. The generator operates for five minutes a week so I guess installation was performed properly. During installation, two wires to my irrigation system were cut due to equipment being driven into the ground. On two occasions I attempted to speak with one of the owners as well as a second person who asked for details. My detailed emails remain unanswered to this day, six months after the fact. Their response is to ignore me and my communications. I cannot say anything positive about this company other than already stated, and certainly will choose a different company for any work needed on my generator. read more

We got to talking, and before he had even finished the job, he had sworn to get me into the Toadies show that night at Emo's. I thought he was full of crap, but this guy Aaron comes through. After a scheduling mishap of theirs, the lady that I spoke with on the phone who was supposedly a top person with the company was one of the most unprofessional and "blame redirect" phone conversations I've ever had. Every appliance I bought from Lowe's after that, I insisted on any installer EXCEPT Rikman. With leadership like that, I wouldn't want anyone who works for them on my property. I called Lowe's Corporate to complain. They fired the contractor and hired RIKMAN Services to do the job. Everything was done great! Rikman came to my rescue when my hot water heater froze during the freeze. No one else was able to locate parts or even a replacement unit except for Rikman. They were able to locate an identical unit to my existing water heater and replace it in less than 24 hours from when I called them. I had been without hot water since 2/15 and it was pretty miserable. Mike and his helper were very professional and got the job done quickly. Mike confirmed that parts were pretty much impossible to get but he located the replacement unit almost immediately. I was told by another plumber that it was goi g to be up to 4 weeks for a replacement unit. I am very thankful for the quick response and work from Rikman. read more

I purchased a dishwasher at Lowes on 2-15-2020. Unfortunately they contracted the installation to Rickman Services. Rickman called and arranged a date and time that we were both agreeable to. I received a confirmation TXT to ensure I would be home. 40Min past the installation time on 2-20-2020, the technician, Alaska, called and told me he was 5 min from me but he was going to install 3 toilets at another location instead and would "maybe make it later in the evening". Eventually he just sent a TXT that he wasn't going to come at all and would bring the dishwasher back to Lowes. Supposedly he returned the Dishwasher back to Lowes, but they CAN'T FIND IT! Lowes isn't much help either in correcting this, but that's another review. :) read more

They no showed for the appointment nor didn't call to tell me no one was coming.
