Flat rate quote helped. Great communication and work was done correctly the first time.

Had a great experience with Kim. He installed a new valve and quick connector on my gas line for my whole house generator. He also replaced my old hose bibs around the house and upgraded the plastic valve on my water heater to a solid all metal valve. Kim was punctual, straightforward, and honest, with very fair pricing. The work was done quickly and professionally, and everything works perfectly. I highly recommend Kim and Drain Control for any plumbing or gas line work. read more

He came out the same day I put in my request and had my problem figured out (a defective water softener leaking the small beads) very quickly. I was fully prepared for a much larger issue and much larger bill. The price was fair for how he was able to fix my issue. I have another project I want done soon so I will definitely be contacting him again. read more

Kim did a great job and was able to come out the very next morning when we had a pinhole leak that opened up in one of our copper pipes. He showed up when he told us he would, he did what appears to be a quality repair to fix the problem for the price he quoted. That's all I really expect of a business. The only thing I would change is that he only offers a one-year warranty on his work and I would hope for longer than that. read more

Kim was great. On time, efficient, clean, and best of all - no sales pitch AND good pricing. He installed a new faucet, fixed another one, replaced o-rings on our shower, and hydrojetted our kitchen drain line. All for a reasonable price in just a couple of hours. We will definitely be using him again and highly recommend him! Edit to add - I am immune compromised and he had no issue with my request to mask which is SO valuable to me! Very honest and did not charge me for diagnosing my water heater leak issue. He attempted to see if replacing a pipe would help me avoid replacing the whole tank but unfortunately there was too much rot which he showed me. He recommended someone who could do the tank replacement for me and left without charging me for spending 45 minutes in my hot attic. Drain Control will always be my first choice in a plumber. read more

Highly recommend Kim at Drain Control. Had a kitchen sink that had very poor drainage. Called a previous plumber who used a snake and Thrift cleaner and was a little better after he left a few months ago. Drainage became worse and I thought it may be the garbage disposal unit. So it was replaced with no improvement of drainage. Kim came a few hours after I called him ,after reading his excellent reviews on Yelp. He instantly diagnosed a blockage leading from the house to the main. He gave me a very reasonable price for hydrojetting and in 30 minutes the problem was solved. There is definately a difference in hiring an independent contractor that owns his own business and tries to give good customer service as oposed to the big plumbing companies that spend thousands of dollars on TV advertising that the customer has to pay for. read more

Kim is truly a gem. 1. Competent 2. *** No upselling *** 3. Straight forward and fair pricing 4. Prompt and efficient 5. Courteous, and cleans up the site when done I highly recommend him. He's been out to the house twice now, and each time I've been thoroughly impressed with his work. read more

Kim was here right on time. Very punctual. It took him appx. 45 mins. to get everything done. Give him the benefit of the doubt that he already been here 2 years ago so he knows what the drill is. I was particular impressed with his equipment. He said he can handle restaurant clogged drain because of those high power equipment he has. He didn't use a snake but that high power thingy which unclog and shoot high pressure water at the same time. Out of all the bid, his was the lowest and though it's just unclogging the drain, and I don't know how well he handle heavy duty serious stuff but he sure did a good job for me. read more

Needed a leaking pipe fixed on a Sunday afternoon in my attic for one of my rental properties. Was skeptical of having someone come out to fix it on a Sunday! Made several yelp inquiries and Kim answered in 10 minutes. Described my dilemma and urgency. He requested pictures and gave me a price. He came out within 30 minutes and within couple hours the pipe was replaced at the exact price he quoted me. This plumber is the real deal and honest! Thanks Kim I'll be using you for future jobs! read more

We had been having a confusing, intermittent blockage issue with only the master shower, master toilet and guest toilet. Finally called Drain Control. He arrived exactly when we had scheduled. He listened to us describe our issue and recommended doing a camera survey. He found the drain 80% blocked by a tree root and recommended hydro jetting. In a matter of minutes our drain was clear! And at less cost than the major plumbing companies! Honest work at an honest price. I highly recommend Drain Control! read more

Fast response to the service call. He did what he can do. He couldn't do anything to solve my problem but videoing inside the pipe. That alone costed me $250.
