I called Mock Plumbing as I had two outside faucets that were leaking. One only leaked while turned on, the second was actively leaking and was the priority as I was leaving to go out of town the next afternoon. Chris called an fit me in their schedule first thing the next morning. They let me know they were on their way and promptly fixed both faucets at a reasonable price. This is the third or fourth time I have used them, going back to the big freeze. I cannot recommend them more highly. read more

I have used Mock Plumbing for several years now...toilet repair & installation; water filtration & osmosis installation; garbage disposal repair & installation; & miscellaneous repairs. They are awesome. They try hard to take care of a plumbing emergency the same day. I highly recommend them!! read more

Honest guy. I had a wet area in my front yard, and was suspecting some underground leakage, cause I had similar issue before. The guy came and inspect the area and suggested me to wait for a couple of weeks first. To him, it looked like a low ground point rather than leakage. If they dig to inspect, they have to charge, and he would hate to find that there was no underground leakage. He further spend time to look around the area and check other pipes around, and didn't ask for a penny. I still tip him though for the time and effort. read more

We are doing remodeling of our house & Mock Plumbing came out to do plumbing for three bathrooms. Their price was very reasonable. They were responsive even though they had to come out several times. Their team was very professional & well mannered & they always came as scheduled. We haven't completed our remodeling yet but so far, their plumbing job was very good & stress free for us. It's very difficult to find a reliable tradesman these days & we will definitely use them again for our future projects. read more

First clue - their youtube video bragged about their comment reviews. I didn't pay attention until I went back after horrible service and I saw all their reviews they bragged about were deleted. They blocked all comments and then bragged about their comments. I called for service and left a message because it was after hours. No one called me back. Two days later, same story. I called a third day and I was put on hold and no one came back. The fourth time I called I finally spoke to someone who absolutely seemed bothered by my call. This guy wasn't rude, but wasn't friendly or accommodating. I immediately realized this company is not who I want to do business with. I called another local plumbing company and they arrived an hour later. Mock is the right name for this company. STAY AWAY from mock and get the real service somewhere else. SERVICE MATTERS! read more

First experience was excellent. Not a simple project - external gas leak with below ground repairs. Project scope was more complex than when first quoted but the additional costs was shared by Mock Plumbing very fairly in my opinion. Their service was personal and professional. There was even a follow-up call out which they addressed almost immediately. I will definitely be calling them for my next plumbing need. read more

The prices Chris quotes are terrific, you won't be paying what A**ow or JM or any of the oversize companies charge. I highly recommend Mock Plumbing, and will continue to use them for all my plumbing needs. Thank you Chris and Will! read more

According to Angie's List, Mock Plumbing is the most highly awarded plumber in Baton Rouge. I don't know why Yelp yanked all their 5 star reviews, but they used to have a bunch of 5 star reviews on Yelp also (of which one of mine disappeared). We used Chris and crew multiple times, and they are simply the best plumbers available in the Baton Rouge area. We wouldn't hire anyone else, and you shouldn't either. They're fast, professional, and affordable, and offer guarantees on their work. read more

I called Mock to get my sewer line unclogged. They showed up on time and did a good job of feeding me bullcrap and charged me $200. After 2 hours they told me that my line was collapsed or full of roots and that I should pay American Leaks $300 dollars to find where it was plugged up. They got my drain running for about 3 days and it clogged up again. I then had another plumber come and he had it totally uncloged within an hour and told me that it was just years of acumulation, not roots or a collapsed line and charged a lot less than Mock did. I would highly recommend that you do not calll Mock Plumbing as they will rip you off. read more

Clint and Raymond provided excellent service. Called them on Veterans day and they came out that afternoon. I needed them to repair a leak in my washer drain and they did a great job. They even moved the location so I could install some lattice near the piping. As if that wasn't enough I mentioned a leak in my bathtub sink and despite the late hour in the day they still came inside and took care of that problem as well. They were courteous professional and I would highly recommend them. I've found my plumber! read more

I've use Mock Plumbing twice over the last six months. The first time was for a plumbing rough-in for a new addition we are making on our home. The second time was last week when we needed our main sewer line from the house to the street replaced. On both occasions, Chris and his team provided outstanding service at very reasonable rates. It is truly a pleasure to do business with Chris as he is very knowledgeable and very responsive. I have been very satisfied with the service that I have received and will be calling Mock Plumbing for any future plumbing needs. Will definitely recommend to family and friends. read more

Mock came out and did several repairs to my kitchen as well as my two bathrooms. In one of my bathrooms I purchased a few drains off of the internet and one of them was giving me issues. Chris came out on a Friday night and replaced both of them with some better drains and only charged me for one which I thought was fantastic service. He did not leave until things were working properly. I discovered a leak the next day and he was willing to come out that Saturday afternoon but the leak somehow stopped prior to that. I highly recommend Mock for their quality as well as their customer service. read more

Mock Plumbing was able to install new fixture on my cultured marble tub at a price that was much more affordable than other quotes I received. I found Mock Plumbing on Google and called for a bid for plumbing related to my recent kitchen remodel. We moved the location of the sink and dishwasher and new pipes had to be run. I also needed my faucet and garbage disposal hooked up, as well as pipes run for a pot faucet. Chris came out promptly to give me a bid (which was very reasonable), and then I scheduled the work for the following week. Chris and his assistant were at my house for about 4 hours and completed excellent work. He strikes me as a quiet, honest, hardworking guy. I would definitely request plumbing work from him again and would recommend him to my friends. read more

We've used Mock Plumbing a few times over the last six to eight years. This past Tuesday, July 19, 2016, they rerouted the washing machine drain in the garage and the kitchen drain from under the slab to outside the slab after the existing piping collapsed. Chris and his assistant worked almost non-stop from about 8:30am until they finished around 2pm in the extreme heat and humidity. They had to break through some concrete in a slab adjacent to the house, dug everything with a shovel, drilled through brick, dug down to the main sewer line to tie-in the new piping, and covered everything up. The time and price also included having a masonry guy come out to repair the masonry at the kitchen and the exterior wall where the washing machine drain came out of the house and repaired the concrete that was removed. Though I was not happy about having a drain line visible inside my garage, I understood there was no option when Chris explained the reasoning behind the decision. The price was good as far as I can tell. Chris diagnosed the collapsed pipe and proposed the reroute as a solution on the initial call-out when the washing machine drain stopped flowing. Based on previous experience with Mock and having used a different plumbing company prior to finding Mock and having seen costs for the same work posted in reviews of other plumbing companies, I did not feel a need to research other plumbing companies nor get estimates from them. Mock has done good work for us before and I am pleased with the work they did on this job. I feel I have my plumber in Mock Plumbing. They are the only company I would use for plumbing work and recommend them to whomever is in need of plumbing services. read more

Several weeks ago I had sewage back into my home. I called Mock Plumbing to check it out. Chris Mock did the inspection, he said my line was plugged and the entire line needed changing. We discussed price and was told between 1800$ and 2200$. The reason for the 400$ gap was he didn't know what he would find when he got to the plugged area. My wife talked to him on the phone later and was told if he had to give a firm price it would be 2200$. Mock and his crew came at 7:30am to do the job. About 2 hours later mock called me outside and informed me that it looked like the job was more difficult than first anticipated. He said the job would be between 2500$ and 2800$. As half my yard was dug up I reluctantly told him to go ahead. Mock's crew finished about 3 hours later with my sewage still plugged. I paid Mock 2500$ more dollars. Mock gave me the number to call the City Parish maintance. They came checked it out and found the main line plugged. Several days later it was changed out and line unplugged. The insurance adjuster checking my damages asked why Mock had changed the entire line. I told him what I was told, he informed me he could not pay me for the entire line as it was not necessary. The adjuster called Mock and was told that the part changed at the site of the plug was worth 1000$. I told the adjuster the information I was given for the cost and he paid me an additional 200$. He also paid me for the original inspection 150$. It cost me 1300$ for the other work Mock did. My suggestion to anyone wanting to use Mock Plumbing get a written estimate before allowing them to work on your problem. Also call "311" before you call any plumber. They may save you some money. read more
