We had a simple water meter leak and were checking whether it was our problem or the city's. Brandon came and inspected the property and the meter. What was a simple "is it the city's problem or our problem?" became a 30-min conversation about a tiny leak in the house. But no other issues. Brandon, instead of simplifying and saying it's the city's problem and calling Bellaire to fix it, became visibly irritated and rudely talked in circles, saying that the lawn sprinkler or water from other places could be causing the water to be in the meter box, and essentially told us how stupid we are. I informed him that I personally drained the water, and it wells up, and he rudely stated, "Well, I think it's just water pulling from somewhere else." He seemed more interested in fixing a tiny leak in the house than in giving us a simple answer about whether it was a city issue. Maybe the worst condescending customer service we've been provided in a long time. We called Bellaire Public Works, and they were happy to come by and look at the meter. Although the other Plumco plumbers were awesome, this experience has soured us on the company. We will be looking for a new Plumbing company after this experience.
