I am incredibly disappointed with the communication and professionalism of the owner, Nathan. I had "Texas Plumbing" do a toilet repair/replacement in my house. His plumber came and worked for several minutes and gave me an appraisal for several hundred (less than $500). Then he said he needed some parts that they had in the warehouse, and he would be back. I have not seen him again. Later on, after several text messages, he stated that he wouldn't be able to do that today, and something suddenly came up! The very next morning, he was supposed to come at 11 a.m., the time we had scheduled before while texting each other; of course, he never showed up. 4 hours later...... I still haven't heard anything from the plumbing company, but I have gotten a text from the owner about the amount of money (for traveling to my house). I would like to ask a community what that is............ Is it a common practice in Houston? Is this a taxi service? It is only recommended if you would like to waste $500 and wait for four to six hours for the no-show. Please don't use them! There are plenty of decent companies around. read more

They quoted $512 for the job AND another $201 for the replacement of 3 feet of PVC pipe for a total of $712 - for a leak that I specifically found for them - this was way overpriced and they made the entire experience vague and muddled until it was time to pay - DONT use these people! read more

On Christmas Eve I was made to wait at home the entire night on a promise that they were working late (I called multiple times to assure that I was being covered that night) , Only to be told via automatic text that I had been pushed back to Christmas Day . Got some water stain on the ceiling. I'm a pretty DIY person, so I cut the ceiling trying to fix it myself, but couldn't even locate the leakage. Called Nathan up since they are located quite close to my home. They quickly located the issue was the loosen bath tub drain cover. The leakage was small so hard to notice. Glad they were able to spot it. Sometimes, I have to admit DIY just can't match professional's experience. They quickly fix it with a reasonable price. Great job. read more

Texas Plumbing on Woodwind did a great job fixing my freeze busted pipes. I texted them Wednesday and they were out today while other plumbers had quoted me A MONTH wait (wait times are very long right now in February 2021 because of an awful storm that got as low as 10 degrees, lasted several days, and froze all the pipes). They spent about 4 hours fixing 3 leaks in the attic, bill was about $1200. My family can finally shower again! read more

Extremely disappointed with the communication and professionalism from the owner Nathan. I had Texas plumbing come do a remodel project for my house, moved drains and gas pipes. His men did the work, they were great until I started having issues with the city inspection and a gas leak that seemed to be "inconvenient for the owner". I called and texted the owner about the gas leak, but he never reached back out to me. I ended up having to pay someone else to fix his work and was left without hot water for two weeks!!!! I would not hire this company again due to the lack of communication, and complete egocentric attitude he has. I was so sad to find the gas leak when in fact this was his job to check after moving gas lines. communicating with the owner on this project, he was demeaning, over talked me and down right awful. If you hire this company as a woman be prepared to be ignored, not spoken to properly and over talked. Don't use them. read more

Dishonest, said they were coming for three days, then finally called to say they'd be there in an hour and never showed. I called after having waited for three days for service when it had been promised the same day and spoke to someone who said," sorry I was over promising things to people" She then said hey, you can see if another plumber can help you because we won't be there today or tomorrow and we don't know when we'll be there. So my recommendation is that you take the advice that she gave and see if another plumber can help you because Texas Plumbing is no good. read more
