I'm shocked that I didn't review this place yet. I owe it to Serge (and his staff) because he is the best at what he does...and what he does is like a people whisperer. You come in, he looks at you, he knows what you need, he knows what you've been looking for but needed help finding. He oozes charisma and his bedside manner makes you feel well cared for and fabulous, the way your favorite hair stylist (or bartender or shrink) with the confidence that you got the right glasses for the right price! Wanna talk more about price? There is no nickel and diming here...there is old school customer service and respect for the relationship with the customer. He's got the high end stuff and the more afordable stuff, but he makes it so that the high end stuff is doable. He's not a cold computor/by the book kind of guy...he will work with you....because he's generous, because he's a good guy not wanting to get the most out of you because he could, and naturally that gives you a good feeling and you want to buy more. So I get all my glasses there...the single lens, the progressive lens, the transition lens, the pure sunglasses, the computor glasses....all of it...becasue he's got the selection and the price and you feel like you are giving the right guy your money...because you are...he's worth it...what you are getting (when you do the research) is a bargain compared to other, impersonal places. He gets busy over there, because he's in demand. But Serge works in the round, from the center of a big bar that circles around him, so he can pivot and help the next person in an instant...and I've seen it, the way he pivots and then gives the next person such exact and intuitive service you would think they are the only customer in the room. He is eager to help and steer you in the right direction when it comes to picking the right frame for you. I tend to switch styles often so his huge selection of glasses is really helpful. I've seen high end designer glasses along with some really good looking more affordable frames. I typically go with bobsdrunk frames and Serge is definitely thoughtful when it comes to his pricing. I walked into the facility and it was beautifully laid out - clean, organized and I was immediately greeted by someone at the desk. I took my time to look around and Serge came up to me to assist me with my first ever pair of glasses. I've been trying to update my glasses on my old frame for a while and I suddenly remembered that my sister bought her glasses from them while ago and I wanted to give a try also because of everyone's great reviews on yelp. Oh I was so wrong about this place. This place is most racist and disrespectful place I've ever been. As soon as walk in there was a old woman who paid her stuff and left. Then I saw old man (owner)behind the front desk next to receptionist . I was standing there like good 30 seconds and receptionist and man pretended that they didn't see me even though I was right in front of them. So I looked at them both and said hi and the man asked me if needed something finally. So, I explained what I came here for and he didn't even asked me what type glasses I'm interested or not or if needed frame or not. He just said $100 and anti-glare $100. In fact I've been wearing glasses for long time and I have an idea of how much they usually cost. In this case he just threw price that came to his head. Despicable. Even after I showed him my frames and told him that I just need the glasses changed and it's single vision, he wouldn't budge until I told him my sister bought her glasses from you. And he tried to negotiate but at that moment I'm already super angry about how him and his receptionist treated me. So I told him what a disrespectful place and left. I would never go there again and if I know someone who's looking for glasses I'll tell them go elsewhere. read more
