My insurance sent me to Safelite, but after reading their reviews there was no way I was going to trust them with my truck! I found Blue Chip and their amazing customer feedback online and gave them a call. Kelly answered my questions, and was humbled by my asking to switch from Safelite. The appointment was set, lobby was stocked with delicious snacks (even vegan) and drinks, and the bathroom was clean. Chris checked me in, and John checked me out when it was time to leave. Freddy did a stellar job on my truck, even grabbing me to show what the body of my truck looked like after removing the old glass (yeah, there was some rust there). He explained that while he can do his best to clean it up by grinding it, that there would be a chance in the future for leaks and would be unavoidable unless I got body work done to fix it, which I opted out of. I thanked him for his transparency. Mind you, I have a 1999 GMC Suburban, which is not perfect, but I don't mind it. Freddy showed me my glass when he was all finished and I couldn't have been happier! My windshield had *numerous* chips because of driving on the highway and it had a gigantic crack on the driver's side - pretty much right in my line of sight. It had been there a while but everywhere I checked was $500+ and honestly, I didn't have that kind of money. I stumbled upon SafePro because I was looking at Yelp for other people's experiences and I'm really thankful I did. So first off, everyone was so incredibly nice. I first spoke with Derek (who texted me! How nice!) and we went over if I'm paying out of pocket or if my insurance is covering it. Once going over my details, I picked a day, Derek gave me a 4 hour window and an email receipt, and said my card would be charged on the day of install. About 10 minutes before the guy (who was amazing - his name is Julio) arrived, he phoned me to let me know he was on the way. Once he arrived, he did a quick inspection and noted any dents or dings and let me know about them (likely this is a liability thing they need to do so they don't get blamed for something that isn't their fault). The install itself took all of 20 minutes and once they were done, the phoned me again to let me know. I came out and Julio explained to keep my windows rolled down about an inch for the first little while and not to wash my car for 3 days. I signed a couple of pages and then the guys were back on their way. Also, because I chose SafePro, I get free chip repair in Maricopa county for the life of the windshield, which alone is *so* worth what I paid (which was only $279!). I can not recommend this place enough. Everyone was so nice, the techs did an amazing job, and the price was pretty unbeatable. I'll be coming here again, when the need arises.

My SUV required calibration and it wasn't that unique yet they took weeks and blamed it on the insurance. I had full glass coverage so never saw the price. Later I found out they charged my insurance company over $4600 for a new windshield. Which eventually looked negatively on my insurance history and my rates went up. Maybe that is the price but for that amount I should have had white glove service and it was a huge pain with extra difficulty due to lack of communication. Will not go back there.
