Some researching and i found Debra and Jesse with Mountainside Glass. Debra handled the insurance claim for me so I literally had to do nothing on my end. And both Debra and Jesse reassured me that they would take good care of me. While Jesse was there, the hubby asked about a chip in his windshield and Jesse took care of that since he was at the house anyway. Chip repair was pretty reasonably priced. From the first call last Monday with Debra to Jesse performing the replacement 2 days later, it was nothing short of a great experience.

Will that blue glare strip be at the top? The only way to find out is just to do your research, find a glass company that specializes in the older glass replacements and ask questions if you've got em (which I did). My insurance sent me to Safelite, but after reading their reviews there was no way I was going to trust them with my truck! I found Blue Chip and their amazing customer feedback online and gave them a call. Kelly answered my questions, and was humbled by my asking to switch from Safelite. The appointment was set, lobby was stocked with delicious snacks (even vegan) and drinks, and the bathroom was clean. Chris checked me in, and John checked me out when it was time to leave. Freddy did a stellar job on my truck, even grabbing me to show what the body of my truck looked like after removing the old glass (yeah, there was some rust there). He explained that while he can do his best to clean it up by grinding it, that there would be a chance in the future for leaks and would be unavoidable unless I got body work done to fix it, which I opted out of. I thanked him for his transparency. Mind you, I have a 1999 GMC Suburban, which is not perfect, but I don't mind it. Freddy showed me my glass when he was all finished and I couldn't have been happier! I met Kelly in person as I was leaving and find that he is a great business owner who really cares about his clients and their experience with his shop. This is the type of business I have no problem supporting every time, and if I need them in the future, "I'll be back".

I usually have my friend change my oil himself and he doesn't charge me at all just has me buy the filter and oil. Usually runs me about $35, $40 MAX for the entire process and takes just 30 minutes. But I went here because my friend wasn't in town. I looked online and it said prices were $40-$70 for the changes. I showed up and the cheapest option was $51 and was horrible quality oil. The next price up was $87 and then $120. That much for average quality changes is crazy. Either the prices went up recently and I was never aware or it's just super expensive here. I'll give it a 2/5 just because they did do a decent job and it didn't take too long and the overall concept is very efficient, but the prices need to be lower for it to be worth it.

My windshield had *numerous* chips because of driving on the highway and it had a gigantic crack on the driver's side - pretty much right in my line of sight. It had been there a while but everywhere I checked was $500+ and honestly, I didn't have that kind of money. I stumbled upon SafePro because I was looking at Yelp for other people's experiences and I'm really thankful I did. So first off, everyone was so incredibly nice. I first spoke with Derek (who texted me! How nice!) and we went over if I'm paying out of pocket or if my insurance is covering it. Once going over my details, I picked a day, Derek gave me a 4 hour window and an email receipt, and said my card would be charged on the day of install. About 10 minutes before the guy (who was amazing - his name is Julio) arrived, he phoned me to let me know he was on the way. Once he arrived, he did a quick inspection and noted any dents or dings and let me know about them (likely this is a liability thing they need to do so they don't get blamed for something that isn't their fault). The install itself took all of 20 minutes and once they were done, the phoned me again to let me know. I came out and Julio explained to keep my windows rolled down about an inch for the first little while and not to wash my car for 3 days. I signed a couple of pages and then the guys were back on their way. Also, because I chose SafePro, I get free chip repair in Maricopa county for the life of the windshield, which alone is *so* worth what I paid (which was only $279!). I can not recommend this place enough. Everyone was so nice, the techs did an amazing job, and the price was pretty unbeatable. I'll be coming here again, when the need arises.
