I strongly advise against spending your time/money here. Poor customer service, clumsy/incompetent employees, and therefore highly overpriced. So many other better options around - I suggest you choose one of those.. 1. Poor planning and service. Had an appointment for two. They started us on time together for pedis, but after the pedicure, they only had one person available to do the manicures. My friend sat there waiting for 30 mins until I was done. Then I had to sit there waiting for her manicure - and for her nails to dry. Put our days agenda back close to an hour. The point of appointments is to ensure availability so this exact issue doesn't happen. 2. Untrained, incompetent. The gentlemen who did our pedicures did not seem thoroughly trained to do this. They were both clumsy in their approach - one pressed the nail file so hard he filed a few hard swipes on my skin and caused abrasions. I yanked my foot with a 'Ow!' and told him what he was doing wrong. He blamed it on my short toenails. Really? You do pedicures and you don't know how to work with short toenails? He did this 2x though only one toe ended up with the abrasions. The other man made the water too hot for my friend - then made it too cold when trying to fix it. Then didn't know how to do a French tip so she had to wait for one of the other employees to apply the polish. ?? This is not hard stuff. These people are not trained properly and are not practiced in customer service. 3. Rude, argumentative, + more incompetence. The woman that did my nails appeared to be annoyed that I wasn't doing a gel manicure but only a lowly regular manicure. She rolled her eyes and said this will just start chipping in a few days. ?! Hm, how about, thanks for your business and for choosing onQ. She then appeared to be in a hasty rush throughout the process. She also asked me if I wanted all my nails the same length - I said yes please. She then proceeded to just slightly file them - in the end they were all still uneven and each about the same length as when I came in. I looked at them and I realized she was apparently asking if I wanted to keep each individual nail the same length as it was! Haha, never would have guessed that. In my 30 yrs experience, they always make your nails all the same length as each other so they look nice and uniform. So when I pointed this out to her, she proceeded to argue with me, telling me I said I wanted them all the same length - so I pointed out the misunderstanding - so let's fix it now. She became highly argumentative with an ugly attitude saying about 5 times - 'are you sure?! I want to be sure because that's not what you said a minute ago. Are you sure maam? I'm about to change them - are you really sure this time!?' Wow. It was a miscommunication on both sides. How about a simple - oh sorry about that - lets try that again! And maybe laugh about it. And another thing to note regarding competence - when I pointed out the example of one nail being longer than another one - she said - no, they are the same - you compare lengths by looking at the front white part of the nail. Um, no you don't. You measure the length they are past the fingertip. Ugh. Never again. read more

I have used this nail salon since it opened and I have been very pleased. The salon is SPOTLESS! This is very important to me. It is nicely decorated with new pedi- spa chairs and mani tables. You are offered a beverage as soon as you sit in the chair and everyone is professional and friendly. I make an appointment everytime but there seems to be enough staff to accommodate walk-ins. This is hands down the best nail salon I've ever been to. I have been here at least six times now and I've never left with anything other than a wonderful experience. With that being said, I've only received pedicures here so I can only speak to that. The pedicures range in price from the basic being $30 to the top spa pedi (milk and honey) being $60. I usually get the medium grade signature pedi for $41. It is more pricey than other places but well worth the money! I took a friend from out of town for a pedicure. We ordered the same type of pedicure, were charged the same amount but my pedicure was incomplete. The hot rock massage was nonexistent. When I complained I was told 'I must have been sleeping.' It's expensive and the quality just isn't there. While I was served my friend was ignored for 30 minutes while other guests (that walked in after us) were served. I asked if they had appointments, they all said no. I've gone to the new salon across Lakeline since this experience and it's been far better. I also recognized a few faces. I believe much of the staff of OnQ has gone to the new salon. read more

I decided to give this place a try because it was so close to my house. I was not impressed for a few reasons. (I had a basic pedicure and shellac manicure) Both of the nail technicians who worked on me were very distracted and breezed through the services. Let me reiterate. They were like zombies. For the pedicure: I wasn't asked how I wanted my nails shaped and instead of maintaining their current shape they were reshaped in a way I did not like. Every aspect of the pedicure seemed rushed and not thorough. For the manicure: this was pointless. I should have just gotten a polish change. The "arm massage" and cuticle treatment amounted to rubbing my arm a bit, putting no lotion on my (very dry) hands and running a brush of cuticle oil across my nails (not even rubbing it into my cuticles). I left with a sticky residue on my nails that gave them a gritty matte feel and look. They feel so gross. Also their massage chairs suck. read more

I wanted to try out the new salon because it was literally walking distance from my house. I decided to treat my 5 year old to a mani/pedi as well. I was pleasantly surprised walking in. The salon is large and nicely decorated with a gorgeous chandelier. Unfortunately the buck stops there. My daughter was whisked away with a man who made ZERO attempt to converse with me or her. Then him and another lady in the middle of a pedicure irritatingly told me my daughter was too little for the chairs. So I assumed they'd just paint her nails and toes. NO big deal. She's 5. Thats all she cares about anyway. The man had her stay there at the pedicure chair and I was told to go sit down at the nail station. The technician was friendlier than the other ones, but not real chatty. When she did talk to me she would repeat the same questions she'd asked me previously. I told my Lady. I think her name was Li that I wanted natural nails and wanted to do the SNS. When she pulled out a super pink powder, I told her I didn't want to do pink, I like American manicure or something more natural, and she told me that it wasn't pink it would be natural. I felt in my gut that it wouldn't turn out well but made the mistake of trusting the professional. She struggled with my nails for quite some time. This wasn't the first time I've done SNS and I think it was hers. My nails came out super short and lumpy and two of them weren't even. And what color? You guessed it. Pink. Actually. It looked like I painted my nails with red transparent children's nail polish. So it was transparent but pink! I was too frustrated to stick around and have her fix it, plus I felt bad for ditching my poor kid with the guy who treated us like he wished we weren't there. When I got my $65 bill I was surprised that they charged me $25 for a mani/pedi for my daughter with teensy tiny nails when all they did was paint them. I went in on March 27th and It's been 9 days, my nails have lifted, they look horrendous even if I try to throw polish over them. They literally look like I was the nail model for someones first day of nail tech school. I also noticed that when someone else came in for a full set they told them to come back in 20 minutes even though there was plenty of available people at the time. It would appear that not many people can do them there. And clearly the ones who can... shouldn't! I've been going to this salon since the day it opened for business. Before today, I would have rated them 3 stars at best. The salon itself is beautiful, the technicians are nice, but the nail services are mostly mediocre/occasionally great. I went with my sister-in-law to the salon on 12/21 and we got a shellac manicure and pedicure. On Saturday, 12/26, two nails on her hands began to chip. When she returned to the salon today to ask them to repair the two nails they only wanted to paint shellac over the damaged nails rather than remove the chipped polish and do them over correctly. When I insisted they remove the damaged shellac, they stated they would have to charge another $35 and do all the nails! If that wasn't preposterous enough, the manager tried to tell me the reason her nails were chipping was because she smokes! Whether she smokes or not has absolutely nothing to do with ONLY TWO NAILS chipping! I cannot believe this was the explanation given, and even worse, that it was coming from the MANAGER! Obviously, I will never go back to this place again and HIGHLY recommend you not go at all, ESPECIALLY if you are a smoker! read more

I have been coming to this salon since they opened. I have always had wonderful service .. my nails always are great. Lee does my lashes and does an incredible job. I too have been to salons where I may not have received service that was the best or nails chipped .. but I have always felt it was important to share my thoughts with the owners to give them a chance to correct customer dissatisfaction. Not sure where all the negative reviews come from. Been going here for over three years. I like this place because they are so clean. They use a liner in the tub. They clean their tools. My husband goes with me. I have brought my elderly parents as well. Always have had great service. I never got rude behavior when I ask for just a clean up of my manicure, meaning no polish, but give me everything else. I usually go for the pedicure and never had a bad one. Nail polish selection is great. Nothing chips, usually lasts an entire month with regular polish. So, take these reviews with a grain of salt. I go here at least once a month. My young daughter and I come here each year before our annual beach vacation. We will not be coming back. They took us back right away for pedicures and started on my daughter. I waited next to her assuming the next free technician would do me. She did not. Two people came in with appointments and they got helped next. It took so long, I had them do my daughter's manicure and I got nothing. I told the manager that they should have told us when we checked in that they couldn't take us both right away and we would have come back later or gone to another nail salon. I was told a acrylic fill would be $40 with gel polish (as it is other places) she started doing my nails and broke 3 of them saying I needed a new set (WHICH I HAD JUST GOTTEN 2 weeks prior!!!) so I was like okay as long as it doesn't charge anything. Once she was done she told me I owed her $55 because of the broken nails that I CAME IN with. I came in with all 10 nails bitch you broke 3 for your money. Never ever ever go here!! My 9 year old daughter and myself went out for a relaxing day. We picked the wrong place no thanks to Dona the angry nail lady. She is the nail tech who did my daughter's nails and was incredibly rude. She has absolutely no patience , is very irritable, and doesn't listen. I had to raise my voice at her at one point since she was freaking out at my daughter because she could not get the flip flop on her little toe. The only reason i am giving two stars is because I had Olivia and she was great . We will not be going back because of the experience with Dona. read more

Beautiful and clean salon. That being said, the service and cost were not worth it to me. Their least expensive pedicure is $30, but then they charged an extra $5 to buff my heel, something that is cost-inclusive at other area salons. They tried to convince me to get a more expensive pedicure, then seemed irritated with me when I declined. The technician rushed through my pedicure, and wasn't very friendly. After only a week, my polish is chipping. A quality pedicure should last longer than that. Again, beautiful salon, but you are better off elsewhere for a cheaper cost and better quality/service. read more

My girl and I went to this spa on December 2nd since it's close to home and we received horrible service to the point where we left before receiving service. My girl wanted to get treated to a manicure, pedicure and possibly a massage. While she was looking at what nail polish color she might like to use and not for long at all, the people seemed to be trying to rush her to decide. She picked one and went over to the salon chair and began to ask them if we could pay a certain amount for me to just get a massage but no mani/pedi and the mani/pedi only for her. They were a little hard to understand and what they were saying was acceptable was getting confusing. My girl went to the bathroom and once she did the lady asked me if I want to do it or not with an attitude because they have new customers that walked in and I need to decided (even though they had about several empty seats any customer could've sat in), so I looked at her and bluntly said no. She told me to get up and sit on the chair to the side while my girl gets her man/pedi. My girl came out of the bathroom and I told her I was leaving next door to a happy hour spot we like Brooklyn Heights Pizzeria because the lady gave me an attitude and my girl picked up her purse and said lets leave because she didn't like the attitude the lady gave her/us either. I love this nail salon! It's quiet and clean. Everyone there is super nice. I'll be sending my friends here for sure. They even host spa parties!! I think my favorite part is the nail color option wall. It's color coded and so organized. Personally, I use celiac nail polish, and the options for that are super organized as well. My eyebrow wax was done well, though I left more itchy than normal.. All in all, I would highly recommend this nail salon! read more

I've been a customer of OnQ for about 5 years and I've always had the very best customer care and the very best treatment. I recently moved to Crystal Falls and have been waiting patiently for the Lakeline/Crystal Falls Parkway location to open - having frequented the Cedar Park location while I lived in Cedar Park. Le keeps the very highest of standards in cleanliness - presenting all implements in sealed sterilized packets with disposable files and nail buffers. Facials are out of the world :) I would HIGHLY recommend this place - at the same time I would also HIGHLY recommend that any bad experience be disclosed to Le so that she may have the opportunity to right the wrong. I just came from getting a shellace manicure and my nails look awful. The color is uneven and some spots that do not have polish. Always nice to have a new nail place nearby, so I tried this out yesterday for a pedicure. I just wanted a regular pedicure, which here is called an "express" pedicure and is $30. Right away, that's a little higher than most places, but I decided to try it anyway, and was pleased with their big color selection, and the fact that they offer complimentary wine or beer to their clients. So that was nice. As soon as we sat down and asked for the express, they started trying to get us to do a more expensive pedicure. We finally caved and went with the $40 pedicure. The massage and leg treatment part of the service was nice. But the lady who did mine (I didn't note her name) cut my nails WAY too short, and I winced in pain several times from her cutting the skin too short. She even made one of my toes bleed, though she tried to cover it up by placing my foot back in the water quickly. They were nice, friendly, the place is clean, etc. However, when I got home, HOURS later (my pedi was at 3:30, and this was around 10), my polish hadn't hardened at all, so when I got in bed, the imprint of the sheet smudged one of my nails. Nearly 6 hours later. Not sure what they used for a top coat (the polish was Essie, which I've used before with no problems), but it looks like I painted my nails myself, which I didn't pay $40 for. I was not impressed with this spa. I went for a pedicure during the week, and I did not have to wait. This was good, and I thought I had found a new place to go as I am new in town and it is close to home. However, the technician seemed very uninterested in me and her work. I thought it odd that she asked if I wanted my toenails cut, as I was there for a pedicure. I replied that I did, but she left them very long anyway. The environment is nice because it is brand-new and very clean. But for the cost of the service, I feel I could go to a million other places for a better pedicure. I won't t be returning. read more

I was excited to have a new salon open up within walking distance of my home, so my adult daughter and I have gone here several times since they opened. I would love to be able to give a 5 star rating, because this salon is the cleanest I have ever seen, and all of the utensils are single use, which is wonderful. Additionally, they offer complimentary drinks and a quiet, pleasant atmosphere. However, the quality of the work has not been the best the last two times we've been in, and the demeanor of the staff is not the most polite when a problem is pointed out. Also, the base prices are higher to begin with and the strong push by employees to up sell you to a more expensive service is not welcome. I would not mind the higher price tag, if the quality of the work was up to the standard of the salon cleanliness. Two weeks ago was the last time we went in, and the two young woman giving us pedicures seemed to be in a race to see who could get done the fastest. Not what you want at a salon/day spa--and not necessary since there was not a long line of people waiting. My nails smudged overnight, indicating that the layers had not fully dried before other layers were put on, and then began chipping less than a week after. I also noticed that the toenails were not clipped evenly--some were left long, others were very short. I hope the owner/manager of this salon is reading the YELP reviews and works to properly train employees in customer service and quality work so that all aspects of his/her business are as excellent as the cleanliness and atmosphere. I will give them one more try in hopes that they can improve. read more

I was excited to try this place after seeing the positive reviews but this is easily the worst nail experience I've ever had. I made an appointment but was seen 40 minutes after my appointment time and the tech was rude and for as fast and rough as she was going, she must've thought she was in a manicure competition. After the very long wait, she raced through the manicure like she couldn't wait to get to the next one and she didn't even spend 10 minutes with me. If her work had been amazing, that would've been one thing.. But the manicure was incredibly sloppy. I could've given myself a better manicure at home. The $35 manicure was a joke and possibly worth $5, maybe. Especially for moms using this as a weekend escape, like I thought I was going to, it's not worth the money to come here. You can tell they spent lots of money on the decor and equipment. They used nice crystal bowls and everything was above par. With that said I had high expectations with the service I was going to receive. I had shilac done on my nails and a pedicure. My pedicure was ok. The girl that did my nails did them in 15 min flat. She rushed. When I left, I still had high hopes my shilac would last. Well, 6 days into it the shelac starting peeling away at the bottom. I usually go to a place in Round Rock that does my shliac and it usually lasts 3 weeks! I'm so dissapointed because this salon is right around the corner from house and oh so convenient.
