I recently moved to the area and I am so thankful that I found devika during one of my visits - it was such a relief to have someone I could trust with my threading needs right when I got here! devika is always quick to respond when I send her an appointment request, and her work is always quick but perfect! will continue to see her regularly for as long as I can! read more

She did an amazing job. I used to live north Austin and had one eyebrow lady that i would go to inside HEB off Lamar and she was great but then I moved to Lago Vista and she moved to south Austin. I tried few places in cedar park and every time my eyebrows were not even. I texted her and was able to get an appointment and go. Her place was super clean & she was so fast and did a such a great job. Safe to say i found my eyebrow place that's super close to me. Yeyeye read more

Devika is absolutely professional with her job. Very knowledgeable and explains what has to be done for satisfaction. She really cares about her clients and gives valuable teaching how to take care of your skin while at home. I am always happily satisfied with her service and would highly recommend her. She's way better than going to some fancy spa and paying hundred of dollars. Great job Devika!!!!! read more

Today was my first time going 12/15/2021, and it was a quick and beautiful experience. Mrs. Gajera was extremely nice and welcoming. Her husband was also extremely nice and welcoming. I felt very comfortable and plan to go back for my threading needs. Thank you again, Mr. and Mrs. Gajera for welcoming me. read more

Devika is great! I got a brazilian wax and she made the experience wonderful. Definitely recommend

She's super quick doing eye brow threading that is almost painless. Very professional and clean. This place is by appointment only but it's easy to get scheduled same-day. I was hesitant to try threading due to a previous bad experience, but my skin had become so sensitive that I couldn't wax anymore. So I found this place and decided to try again. She was very understanding and made me feel comfortable during the process. Now it will become my go-to. read more

This was my first time here and after reading everyone's reviews I felt like I had to go here especially after hearing comments that she's quick and it's not as painful compared to other "threaders" (lol not sure the correct terminology). Anyways, my personal experience was that she (I'm not sure what her name was since she didn't really introduce herself except say hi) was very quiet but seemed like she just went straight to business (no small talk like I'm used to but that's ok). Maybe that's why she was so quick. I honestly arrived about 7 min before my scheduled appointment. Keep in mind, she only takes appointments. Luckily, I was able to get squeezed in on the same day. I'm not from here and just moved to TX so I'm glad she was able to make it happen. Also, her business is at her home but there is a room designated for threading, facials, etc. Anyways, she was super quick and got me out of there in about 5 minutes after threading my eyebrows, upper lip, and bottom lip. The best part was that it only cost $11 for all of that. I usually pay about $20 for all three. Also, she didn't overthread my eyebrows and make them super thin or cut my skin. She just cleaned them up and she was done. I will definitely come here next time I'm in town! read more

I stopped waxing over 2 years ago and decided to try threading since I was told it is better then waxing . Well thanks to Yelp the 1st person that came put was this person . When I was looking for this place I had no idea it was a house lol. Well when I arrived I liked that she transformed a room into a salon. Pretty neat! She did an awesome job on my eyebrows and have returned 3 times . Unfortunately , she is very far and I'm moving away. But y'all go check her out her prices are great. :) read more

Devika is very kind, gentle and knowledgeable about natural henna, and does a wonderful job when doing my hair. I have natural hair and love getting henna to protect and strengthen my hair as well as add a touch of color. read more

I love this place so much, I drive from Slaughter Lane to have my eyebrows shaped and threaded! I highly appreciate a well shaped set of brows, but I was spending three times (literally! 3X!!) more money for threading in my area, only to find my brows too thin and butchered. I heard rave reviews of Apka Salon from a friend, and after advising me to leave my brows alone for several weeks, Devika shaped my bushy eyebrows into the best I've ever had. Not too thin, not it thick, and a perfect arch for my face!! She's been handling my eyebrow needs for over a year now!! The prices are beyond reasonable, and Devika is amazing! It really can't get any better!! read more

34 reviews Share review Compliment Send message Follow LRB L. 5.0 star rating 12/29/2012 I am so glad that I came across Apka Salon during a yelp search. I was so impressed with Devika's services and her customer service- she is very accommodating. I have never had an enjoyable waxing experience ever in my life before now. Now, as I'm sure you know, waxing hurts but Devika makes it bearable. I left there wishing I had found her sooner. And her prices are AMAZING! I now plan to go to Devika for everything... she does it all! Hair, nails, facials, etc. I can't recommend her highly enough! read more

They don't service males. Called when they were suppose to open, no answer, there was a voicemail option, but I didn't want to leave one so I would call back later. She actually called me back w/in 15 minutes, but told me that they don't do male eyebrows. Weird since last I checked its hair on my face. Sad, since this is one of the cheapest place to get eyebrows done. read more

Firstly, the website currently lists your store times as 10am-8pm Mondays through Friday. I came to your house today all the way from Temple at approximately 7:15 for your threading services. I rang your doorbell, even called your phone numbers. It is highly unprofessional to be unavailable when listed as such. read more

Just visited this place for eyebrows. Found her to be very rough and not cordial. Didn't feel comforted. She barely spoke a word or smiled. Didn't feel warm at all. I don't think I will be going back again. read more

I had waxing and threading here. I had a worst experience. In the past 12 years, I never saw liquid wax. The person who was doing waxing for me was applying this liquid hot wax over and over. I experienced horrible pain and rashes all over. I would never visit them and also vl not recommended anyone. For threading as well, i need to mention show the remaining hair multiple times. read more

Devika is quick, clean and super diligent. Can't think of going anywhere else for my waxing and threading.

I stopped by Apka Salon and Spa for the first time today and it was a great experience. Devika was welcoming and professional and had me in and out the door for my eyebrow appointment. I just relocated from South Florida and have been threading for the past 4 years. Glad that I have found someone here in Austin/Roundrock. read more

Devika does such a great job threading my eyebrows. I just moved to the area from Dallas after having my brows threaded in DFW for years, and am so glad I found her! She is so nice, and keeps her home office exceptionally clean and welcoming. And $6 for an eyebrow threading is a steal. My brows always look clean and nicely arched after I leave, and I would definitely recommend her to anyone. read more

Great and timely service- Thanks, Geetha

After reading a few of the reviews on Yelp, I decided to try Apka Salon and Spa as I have been unsuccessful finding skilled estheticians in the Round Rock area. I went to Devika for eyebrow threading and waxing of the full legs and under arms. I was pleased with how she listened and followed simple instructions/requests as every client is different. Her prices are very reasonable and her most importantly her process is sanitary. My only "feedback" would be to pay attention to detail. I understand that some clients aren't as particular as others but I would have liked her to look over the area closely after threading/waxing and remove glaring areas and or hairs that were missed without me having to ask. Other than that, great experience. read more

I went to see Devika today for eyebrow threading & a 30min facial and I must say that I was very impressed. I was a little skeptical since her salon/spa is in her home, but I completely forgot after I came in; she was very professional, the environment was very tranquil & relaxing, & she was very thorough. Best of all, her prices were very reasonable. I'm looking forward to my next appointment. Thank you Devika for making my day a little better today! :-) read more

Today was my first time seeing Devika. My usual salon closed (Siri Salon and Day Spa) who I was very partial to. I called on a Sunday and she called back that day and fit me in for a late Tuesday appointment. I was a little skeptical of going to a salon out of the beautician's residential home, but went through with it anyhow. I was pleased to see that she keeps a very clean home and salon area. She did an awesome job threading my eyebrows, which I am very picky about. She way undercharges for her services, maybe due to the lack of overhead? I will be back, and I will certainly spread the word. read more

I had gone to Devika on and off for about 1 year. I believe she picks and chooses who she will see. I left her message after message and finally she called me back and said I never left my phone number. Two weeks later... same thing message after message. Each attempt to reach her I made certain I left my phone number and again she never returned my call. Finally she picked up, and scheduled my appointment, when I got there I asked what's been going on, I told her again I've left several messages. She seemed quite annoyed and she again said I never left me phone number. This time I was positive I had left my number. I was in and out of her home within 6-10 mins, never had much conversation, never late... and I just couldn't figure out what I had done for her un-welcoming behavior. So I decided to find someone else. I love my new person.. Same as Devika, in and out within 6 - 10 mins, but no games, just business. NICE.. read more
