Now I know why my mother refuses to order at this place. She had ordered the teriyaki chicken about a month ago, and right after eating she got really sick to her stomach. She thought that maybe she just had an upset stomach at that time, so a couple of weeks later she ordered the teriyaki chicken again and immediately got sick after eating it. Very hit or miss at this location. I've gotten bad chicken, missing items from order and inconsistent portions. Yesterday my wife drove over 20 minutes to get us dinner and it was absolutely disgusting. Huge chunks of fat in the chicken, undercooked and large bone. I don't know how they served this. When I called they wouldn't do a refund since I didn't have the receipt number. When asking to speak to a manager I was told she didn't work today. So as soon as I order a couple, 2 gentlemen and a single diner all come in and order dine in meals. As I stand there waiting the 2 gentlemen receive their order first. So out of all the meals we ordered that day. We didn't care for salad. The drinks were so delicious it tasted just like a nice Shasta or like a carbonated fruit punch. The spam was legit. I would go back to this location and order what I was supposed to in the first place. The reason for the low rating.... The menu was hard to read. I ordered 5 mixed bbq plates and 1 shrimp combo plate by phone for me and some visitors from out of town. I brought up the idea of Hawaiian BBQ to them because I always take my family to this place and we loved the food there. Anyway, I picked up my food, and when we pass it out at the house, what a disaster. I could not believe that I was serving my guests what I saw. First of all, the plates looked like they were only half the portions I am used too. Talk about the waste of space on a plate. Everything was way overcooked and dry, the cabbage in the plate was starting to turn yellow from being too old. Some of the meat came in bits and pieces as if they have cleaned up the grill into my plates. I apologized to my guests and started to collect the plates so I could return them and get food elsewhere but my guests did not have the time. It was so embarrassing to sit there and watch my guests eat this mess of a meal. I will take this out with the management and if they give me the same run around like the person I complained to on the phone, we will never return to this place. I feel I have been ripped off.
