A chicken sandwich with pickles, lettuce, and tomato on a paper-lined tray, accompanied by French fries in a small container.

This used to be my favorite location but the past 6 months it hasn't been the same. Twice they forgot to include part of my order, the drive thru can be extremely slow. The customer service isn't all that bad but it could improve. Today I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and as I'm eating it I bite into something string which was a wilted piece of tomato and the next bite is an ugly brown piece of lettuce. I hope it improves. This location is the closest to home for me. I do love me some Whataburger.

Some people like to argue which is better - Whataburger or In N Out. As for me, having tried both, the comparison is flawed. They are a different style or burgers. To me, Whataburger is best compared to the likes of Fat Burger. The style is more alike. So let's stop comparing apples to oranges and say they both have their place. As for Whataburger on it's own, my recent visit was my first time. We only have but one location in the Las Vegas area right now and I am not about to go down the Strip to try it. I happened to be passing through Phoenix on a business trip, though, and took the opportunity to dine in. I ordered a #1 with cheese and a Dr Pepper milkshake. My order was ready in about 5 minutes. The burger was good. Not a "to die for" type burger. But good. Meat, chopped lettuce, chopped onion, tomato, pickle and mustard. As I said earlier, it reminded me of Fat Burger. Which is not a bad thing. I give Fat Burger the edge, though. They make a bigger beefier burger than what I got from here at Whataburger. That is not to say I didn't enjoy my dinner. I've just had better. I had fries on the side. McDonald's thickness which is ever so slightly thicker than shoe string fries. Not a bad thing. Taste was standard. Fries are fries and all tend to taste the same when dunked in ketchup. The Dr. Pepper shake was the real reason I chose Whataburger to have on this particular evening. It's a limited edition release and was worth trying. I had a hard time picking out the Dr. Pepper in the flavor but it was definitely different than just chocolate or vanilla. It was a good shake. I chose this particular location (Bethany Home Rd.) due to the ease of access and the proximity to I-17. Service was friendly. The food was adequate. It gave me the fuel I needed to finish my evening after a long day of travel. For that I am grateful. And now I can say I have tried Whataburger.

Patty Melt - A grilled cheese sandwich with beef filling, partially eaten, on yellow paper, with a drink in the background.

Husband and I stopped by on a Saturday around 1. Even though the dining room was busy we opted to eat in. He ordered a Whataburger with cheese and bacon. I ordered a Patty Melt. The cashier gave us our number and we selected a table. In about five minutes our food arrived. Hot and fresh. Gentleman that delivered it was pleasant and provided us with our condiments. My burger was good, but i do wish they'd offer a single patty version instead of just a double. It was hot, cheese gooey and melted with lots of grilled, caramelized onions. Bread toasted nicely. But it still a fast food burger. So why the four stars? Well, cashiers efficient, food runners pleasant, dining area clean and my food was fresh and hot. What more could I ask for? It was a easy, quick lunch. I'll give them another go around if in the area. It's one of the better fast food experiences I've had in a long time.

I was surprised. Chili is supposed to be served in a bowl not a sandwich lol. The chili and the burger went very well together it's very good. This site only allows me to do pictures. Here is the link to my video. https://youtube.com/shorts/_y9fBBs8Rgw?si=Zkiuc1cJjMXlQx0s

Always good and fresh. I wish I had one closer to me than Phoenix. I still rate this as the best quick burger I've had.

You can customize by adding peppers and avocados but it comes with those yummy crispy onion pieces. The fries are pretty good too - I would give them a 6/10 on the fry scale - they are crispy and not greasy but maybe could be a little bit more crispy. My son and I each ordered our own fry but definitely could have shared them because they are quite large. I also love that they have some pretty decent wine in a can for $10. We dined in and there is not too much ambiance but they do have a tv going -- we sat by the window and did a bit of people watching. This location is inside the uptown plaza and it is so cute and decorated for the holidays. There is not much to say about the service -- our food came out fairly quickly especially during the dinner time so that was positive -- you could see a lot of door dashers in and out picking up to go orders so it was fairly busy -- but not a lot of people eating in the dining area. It is kind of pricey for fast food but it is good and they have a veggie burger so I pay the price.

My manager, who highly recommended this place, was thrilled to introduce it to me. It's a popular spot among locals and even featured on Guy Fieri's TV show, "Diner's, Drive-Ins and Dives." The restaurant attracts a steady stream of customers eager to savor its fun and creative Native American dishes. Frye Bread holds a special place in culinary history as the first Native American restaurant in the United States to receive the prestigious James Beard Foundation's "America's Classics" award in 2012. Their signature Fry Bread is incredibly chewy and flavorful. During my visit, I joined my coworkers, manager, and a few friends for lunch. One of the unique features of Frye Bread is its outdoor mini farmers market, where native American vendors sell jewelry, cultural gifts, and all things Native American. It was a great opportunity to immerse myself in the local culture and experience one of the restaurant's beloved dishes. While Frye Bread offers a variety of savory protein options to accompany their Fry Bread, I personally preferred mine simply drizzled with butter and powdered sugar. The combination of flavors was simply irresistible. Frye Bread is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking an authentic and flavorful Native American dining experience. The restaurant's commitment to preserving and showcasing Native American culture, combined with its delectable Fry Bread and batter, makes it a memorable dining experience.

I was delighted with the value, serving size and quality of the meat and ingredients. The "slop bowl" is a strong concept these days -- a jumble of veggies, fillers like quinoa or rice, and protein. Pleased to report that Angie's stands apart from the crowded field, distinguished by flavor and quality. Worth noting: you place orders on the kiosk and can customize. There are quesadillas, bowls, plates and more from which to choose. Because you do the order selection and input, the staff can focus entirely on assembling and delivering the orders. Efficient, orderly, but without the pleasure of a great server-customer interaction. That said, the value is unmatched.
