Sloooow customer service. I've had bad luck with this place. I think they mean well, but something is lacking. New home builders use them, so they are constantly super busy, and my home had everything in it from One Stop. One of the door knobs to the guestroom fell out and was missing a tiny part, so the whole thing needs to be replaced. A guest got locked in and had to bang on the door. It took a month of constant calling and having trouble getting hold of the right person there to get it ordered. They no longer had my information because it was out of warranty. I paid upfront, and that was on October 18. Today is October 4 and I still have heard nothing. They will have to set up an installation appointment once the product comes in. They may have only one installer. At the rate things are going I'm thinking I will not have this fixed by Thanksgiving. read more

Worst customer service I have ever had in my life. If anything goes wrong, they'll ignore your calls, ignore your texts, and ignore your emails. By far the worst company I've ever hired. I can't even begin to list all the issues I've had with One Stop - multiple parts failing just shortly after installation, using garbage parts and then charging to reinstall, showing up and doing half the job and leaving. I went in One Stop today to inquire about a few things but in particular, an aluminum french casement window. After waiting a few minutes, a receptionist finally approached me. The receptionist brought over a salesman who came out from the back, quite annoyed and rolled his eyes at the sight of me. I inquired about aluminum or steel casement windows and he acted like they were going to be out of my ballpark and promptly said "they are very expensive". I told him that's a blanket statement, and asked "are they $10,000, $6,000, or like $4,000?". He replied that they are in the ballpark of $10,000 (which honestly is an overstatement since I already went to Ganahl Lumber and they run about $4,000). He was so dismissive it was unbelievable since I am ready to purchase right now and in the near future over $100,000 worth of bifold sliders. It's kind of interesting because before I left the house I asked my wife if I should change from my camo shorts and baseball cap since I was warned at Ganahl the folks at One Stop don't like to deal with homeowners. The last time I was prequalified for the way I was dressed was when I got off the plane in snooty Bermuda. Oh well.. One Stop you lost out on some good business from this homeowner with your elitist and smug attitude. read more

This company's driver has some issues. That driver was in first lane and i was in second lane. I tried to move to first lane to make a right and he was about 100 feet behind me. Once I put left signal to change the lane, he suddenly accerlated the truck and almost hit my car on purpose. Then he kept holding middle finger at me.And he kept driving aggressive and came right next to me and held middle finger at me. I had two 1 year old babies in my car. He literally threatend my family just because i went in front of him. Hope the owner do something with that insane driver who does road rage. read more

I went in to inquire about some Milgard patio doors. I was helped by a guy named Robert L. Very dismissive and didn't want to show me anything. He told me to go to Lowes or Home Depot. I kept asking questions and eventually got a brochure. I get that the lead time is long and the price for these doors are not cheap but the customer service was rude and lacking. Our friend decided that she would like a pair of new front doors on her home in San Pedro. After looking at different designs online, she settled on the JeldWen A1322 Rustic fiberglass exterior door. JeldWen's website directed us to One Stop Windows and Doors so we drove over to Torrance one afternoon. We were 'assisted' by Mike who appeared to have decided that we weren't serious about buying anything from the moment we walked through the door. They had a sample of the A1322 in the store and our friend absolutely loved it. We asked questions about color choices/shade charts and he somewhat reticently went to track down a pile of color chips mumbling something about the fact that the color samples they had don't match the current finish colors that Jeld Wen is using. We gave him the dimensions of the rough opening for the existing door (basically a couple of 30x80 doors) and he said that he couldn't give us a quote since their computer system was down. He took our email addresses so he could send one through later. After not hearing back for a week or so, we called them up and asked if Mike could return a call to us and send through the quote. Still nada. So in the end, we went to Home Depot and bought them there instead as they also sell Jeld Wen doors. If it is this difficult to squeeze a quote/estimate out of them, I can only imagine how half-assed their post sales service might be if something goes awry. By all means go here to get ideas, but go somewhere else or deal with someone other than Mike if you actually want to buy something. read more

Terrible and unfriendly service. My wife and I went to look at Baldwin door locks & door handles during the limited time we had together (as busy professionals) for our home. A gray-haired man approached us and informed us we came at an inconvenient time for him (his lunch break) and works by appointment only. He didn't bother asking if we could meet with him at a more convenient time (as I can understand if he had a lunch appointment himself). So we were left on our own on the 2nd floor showroom to browse by ourselves with no one attending to us. This is a case where they let their showroom become a showroom for another store as we got a feel for what we liked vs. didn't like (that we couldn't do online). We snapped pictures of the one we liked to discuss with another store who had friendlier customer service. This store doesn't seem to understand the value of customer service when I can find the best price in seconds on my phone. If there is no customer service - I'm going to pick based on price instead of relationship. I opted to buy at a local store instead of online as I value knowledge & expertise of people who are exclusively selling niche products like high-end door locks & handles. It is sad to see when you have grumpy curmudgeons that are essentially referring business away by turning off new customers ...and they're going to wonder why their business dried up and blame the online stores for killing their business. Customer service and selling your knowledgeability about the products relative to your local market (i.e., beach homes and styles) is highly valuable to buyers like me that have a moderate budget to spend. Paying an extra 20% to make sure I didn't buy $2,000 - $3,000 of the wrong door locks & handles is worth it to me. read more

Went in today to order a new front door. The lady at the front desk ignored us. We stood in front of her as she shuffled papers. We then proceeded to walk around hoping someone would approach us and at least say "good afternoon, how can I help you?". We were the only customers in the store at about 2:30 p.m. today. As they say...first impressions are everything. You need to hire a good PR firm as the woman at the front desk aint cuttin' it. Their reasoning is that they're busy but every company is busy, but other companies can produce a quote for you in a day. I have been warned from other Window and Door companies in the South Bay about what a joke One Stop is....I see why now. They will patronize you over the phone and act very unprofessional. In November 2016 I bought a new Milgard window and had it installed in a rough opening (not a retrofit) from One Stop. Both the purchase and installation went perfectly. So when it came to retrofitting 1971 aluminum single-pane windows, I got two bids and One Stop was best, so I used them again. The product and installation went perfectly. We only retrofitted the windows on one floor of the house and will do the other half next year and I plan to use One Stop again. Megan was our salesperson each time and she is fantastic - knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and gave us great service. Mike was great for scheduling, and John and Tony were great installers (paying particular attention to keeping our cats safe). This is our second house with Milgard and we like the product.
