Shrimp stir fry from the Action station. Very good!

I work in this building so I come here between 1-4 times a week for breakfast and lunch. For the most part I think the food is tasty but...and I'm not sure if this is popular opinion, I preferred it prior to the remodel. Pros: It's a really nice modern cafeteria. Right on trend with wood plank walls and big screen TVs in the seating/dining area. Speaking of which there are a lot of nice seating options including high top tables, booths, and of course the regular 4 tops. I think I've only been once and there was no seating so if you come with a group I think your safe. The employees, seriously they're all really nice! I don't think I've ever had one bad interaction with anyone in the 2 years I've been coming. Cons The hours. This place closes at 9:30 for breakfast. I think that's pretty early. Some people don't arrive to work until after 9 so this really isn't an option for late starters. The prices. I know they had to pay for the upgrades but me and my coworkers agree that the prices have gone up at least 20-25% since the remodel. Although I suppose if you've never come to this place prior that won't matter. The food- At first, there seems to be a ton of variety including a salad bar, sandwich station, grill, soup station, comfort food station and the daily global station. There's also a chef station on Thursday that's generally really good but also dumb pricey (think 12.95 for a salad). I'd say the food is generally hit or miss. I've had some delicious stuff here (shrimp salad) and some blah stuff here (the Spanish and Jamaican foods come to mind). My go to is the grill cheese, but no points for that bec it's hard to ruin a grill cheese. Also...I kinda want them to serve pizza on a daily basis. But...if you come often you'll notice that a lot of the food is repeated. For example, salad bar is pretty much always salad. Comfort food usually consists of sweet potatoes, or mashed potatoes etc. Same with the sandwiches. Maybe I come here too often and I'm not appreciative enough. It's worth checking out for sure though. Here's a tip, check out the menu before coming. It's released weekly!

They'd recently opened at the time. After 9 months we went again recently on December 27, 2025. We also brought our friends here after that. Yemerica's menu has expanded big time. They offer so many hot / iced lattes, refreshers, matcha drinks, mojitos, hot Yemeni beverages, fruit mojitos, Frappuccinos, etc. And they've also expanded their food menu. Now they have a wide variety of pastries and desserts to choose from, and bunch of non-sweet food items as well. The cafe is almost full at night / peak hours, especially on weekends. They have an area that can be reserved for meetings, study sessions, etc. They have ample of seating available for all group sizes. The staff is very friendly and patient. They have outdoor patio seating during warm weather and the interior has beautiful hand painted murals. Beverages: I've recently tried and liked their Abu Walad iced latte, Salted caramel iced latte, and Tiramisu iced latte. Adani chai was interesting & worth a try. My partner has tried their kiwi refresher and strawberry mojito. He really liked them both. Our friends tried the hazelnut hot latte, Kunda latte, and honey saffron latte. They were all real good. Food: Bee bites is such an interesting dish, so worth it. Their Treleche caramel was so soft. It melted as soon as the bite hit the tongue. Sabaya was a non-sweet item with just the right amount of honey sweetness. Marook with dates was an interesting balance of textures and taste. Z'atar Manakeesh is filled with flavours of herbs. Cheese pie was fluffy and soft. Their chocolate and tiramisu cakes looked delicious and I can't wait to revisit and try those among so many other things they have to offer.

Afterwards I stay downstairs and experienced the coffee shop. I ordered a gluten-free breakfast sandwich, which was really good. The bread was a bit firm, but I actually appreciated that since most gluten-free bread tends to fall apart. This one held up nicely. My honey latte was absolutely delicious, smooth, perfectly sweet, and beautifully made. There's also a cute outdoor seating area, great for relaxing with coffee on a nice day. Parking is on the street around the corner, since the street the shop is on is closed to cars and open to pedestrians only, which adds to the charm of the area. You order at the counter, get a number, and they bring your food right to your table. When you're finished, you clear your own dishes to the bin, which keeps the place tidy. I also noticed the staff going around regularly wiping tables and keeping everything clean and welcoming. Overall, Bloom Bake Shop has a great vibe, tasty food, and friendly service. Definitely worth checking out!

Is it a flower shop? Is it a coffee shop? Is it a bakery? Of course, it's all three. We popped in a little before their 1:00 Sunday closing today, and the only bakery items remaining were four lemon blueberry scones. We scooped up two of them at $3.75 each. Now a scone isn't always a scone. Some have the density and weight of a doorstop or a hockey puck. Not these, they were as good as any scone we've ever sampled. They were soft, fresh, and bursting with lemon and blueberry fruit and taste. They were exceptionally great. The interior was very pretty with flower displays, booths, tables, and plenty of goodies for sale like bags of granola, pastries, and sandwiches. The exterior dining patio was packed with customers finishing off their lunches or late breakfasts while sipping their coffees, espressos, cappuccinos, and lattes. Thank you, Bloom Bake Shop, for a very enjoyable visit.
