10-Star Service! My husband and I had our house up for sale, and during the inspection, some issues were found in the crawl space. We received three quotes for the repairs, and One Speed Services stood out immediately. They were fairly priced, incredibly informative, and professional--so we hired them. They handled a large, labor-intensive job for us, all while working around a very tight schedule with our buyers. The scope of work included containment and removal of contamination, installation of a new vapor barrier, rodent exclusion in the crawl space, replacement of a damaged vent termination, and installation of vent wells around the entire house. The technicians showed up on time every day, dressed in uniform, and arrived in company vehicles. They were clean, conscientious, and respectful--never leaving behind a trace of debris. During the project, there was a brief miscommunication. We contacted the office, and they had the owner, Chris Gage, personally call us. Even though his technicians were fully booked, Chris rearranged his own schedule and came to our home for several hours to resolve the issue himself. That level of service is rare and incredibly appreciated. Chris and his entire team went above and beyond to accommodate our timeline and made sure their work did not interfere with the sale of our home. We couldn't be more grateful. We used One Speed to clean our ducts. Since they did such a great job, we had them perform mold remediation in our attic and crawl space, new attic insulation, some duct replacement, and a new bathroom vent installed. Travis Traul is a very impressive and knowledgeable individual who made sure the job was done right. I appreciate how meticulous he was to make sure everything was done right and he was very patient answering all of our questions and addressing ALL the concerns we had. Our attic is now mold free, leak free, and is like new with our crawl space in the same pristine shape. Bar none, I would recommend One Speed. Hiring this company felt like being on that news channel that poses undercover to test business ethics. After paying them $400 to clean our vents that had never been cleaned since we've lived here, I took a look myself at their "work" and was SHOCKED. The vents were completely full of debris and dust...they hadn't even been touched. I reached out to them & discussed this through email and shared these photos. I was assured the owner himself was going to come out and fix this as it was "unacceptable" to their standards, but to my surprise the owner never showed or contacted me again and instead sent the original guy to come "re-clean" them...When you hire a company to clean your vents, you should get a straight forward transaction where you pay a hefty price and the company does just that...cleans your vents. I understand this review upsets them, as they keep fighting to take it down, but I have every right as a customer to share my experience and show others the horrendous job that I paid for so they know what to expect when they pay for the same service. read more

I recently hired One Speed Services to install new insulation on a house I bought that was built in 1958. They did a wonderful job! David, was the first person to come to my house quickly diagnosed what needed to be done and got the ball rolling and sent the technicians, Jose and Tanner. Jose and Tanner were really great. They were very patient explaining the procedure at each step and really listened to my concerns while making sure I was comfortable with the whole procedure. In addition, these two gentlemen were friendly and helpful while at the same time they were working at a complex job. The front office for this company is also very personable and helpful. They came out to do a mold inspection and then quoted to do the remediation work . This is a conflict of interest. Hire a mold inspection company to inspect. THIS COMPANY GIVES OUT SUPER HIGH ESTIMATES. Shop around. read more

They finish the job! But only after I checked their work and found how bad it was. So, sent an Email with pics and the Manager took care of business, problem solved. The only problem i see is that no one supervise the work after they're done. So how are costumers supposed to know if the job is done correctly ? I had One Speed come out and clean my air ducts for my two-story house. The office staff were friendly. They came out quickly. They did a great job. Walked me through what they did and what they saw. (I actually learned a little on how my air ducts ran through my house.) I would recommend them for your air duct cleaning. read more

I had some water damage, so called for an estimate. One Speed sent out a young man, who walked me through every step of the process, told me what to look out for in other vendors (run screaming if they say this!) and submitted a reasonable dollar amount. You hear about people scamming old ladies like me, but I felt very confident with this outfit. They just came to do part of the job (air duct cleaning). The technician was polite, personable efficient and thorough. He took pictures of the clean ducts when he was done, and there were no surprises in the invoice. The team set up a new vapor barrier for my home and performed a thorough duct cleaning. I was not happy after having my duct work cleaned by One Speed. Three weeks after the cleaning I had my furnace serviced by another company I regularly use and they recommended I have my duct work cleaned, he even showed me a picture of a part of the duct work and how dirty it was, even though I had just had the duct work cleaned. I called One Speed to have then come out again. Which they did and serviced the duct work again. After that I seem to have more dust in my house, one of the ducts I noticed later was detached and we had seal it back up. They used something like a twister that went into each duct instead of pulling the dirt out with suction into a truck. Not sure if that was the best option. Definitely will not call them again if I have the need to have duct work cleaned. read more
