Hard to believe, but he spoke harshly and hung up on me when I asked why there was an additional $99 charge. I even said I was not refusing the payment; I just wanted an explanation. That said, Morgan, the technician that reset the button (literally all needed), was lovely, thorough, and pleasant. My system is old and will need to be replaced; however, Steve got his wish - I paid the additional $99 and will never do business with Earthwise again, and I hope you will not either. Rude behavior is the last thing a customer should expect, especially from the owner. Note: Steve could have fixed this with a callback, a simple explanation, or an apology for his rude comments and hang-up. One can hope he may read this review and do better in the future. .

The garage is cool and the rest of the house is hot, especially upstairs. I noticed a two inch gap around a cover . The wrong cover had been installed and just taped on rather than getting screwed on. No tape I can find will hold it on and the air pressure forces it open again. I called Earthwise to have them fix it. My first call was May 18. They didn't call back. Two more calls in the next week got me the reply of "We are busy". They need to make this good by getting the correct part or fabricating one. The AC unit was well over $3000. I have made a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

From the very beginning, Tyler was incredibly communicative, clearly walking us through the project scope, timeline, and next steps so we always knew what to expect. The crews themselves were professional, friendly, and very easy to work with. The quality of the work was outstanding across the board -- from drywall repair to the new flooring installation, trim work, and paint -- everything was completed with great attention to detail and looks fantastic. I would absolutely recommend PacWest Restoration to anyone needing restoration or repair work after damage, or even general construction projects. I started getting respiratory symptoms 6 months ago and had to see a pulmonologist, who prescribed…read moremedications for presumed asthma diagnosis. I was aware of what I thought was just " mildew" under my bed- my dog comes in from the rain, sleeps under there, little air flow- I didn't think much of it. But my cough got more severe and I was using albuterol several times a day. I was kinda freaked out about how out of breath I was. So I decided to tear the bed down and shampoo the carpet...everything got worse from there. When I shampooed I wore a mask, but the next day I went into the room and the fans were blowing all around, and I immediately had a severe reaction and was violently vomiting. I had to go to urgent care for a nebulizer treatment and steroids. I had to sleep on the couch and couldn't even go in without an n95 mask, and would still have an asthma attack afterwards. I was SO SICK! I even had to call into work 2 times. This was crazy, though, right? Just mold! What is going on? Then I read about mycotoxin illness and it's bad! So I look for mold remediation on the internet, talk to some people and ask about experiences...and come to the conclusion this is going to be an expensive chemical nightmare that only ends temporarily... But I keep looking and come across BIORGANIC MOLD REMOVAL. I'm suspicious of a bait and switch like all the other " safe" remediation had lead me on with... But no! Here was something that made total sense! Mold eating probiotics- a living and lasting continuous solution that was even healthy! I did some research and found out that not only do probiotics eat mold, they help treat people with mycotoxin illness! This is a true scientifically backed statement- look it up on PubMed- the only place to go for research based medical facts and studies. So I did it! Peter ( owner operator) told me I could stay in the house while he treated, but that I could expect some signs of detox myself! I was like WHAT? DETOX? YES! Let's do it! So what blew my mind was how much better I felt after he was done treating! No joke! The probiotics have sort of a woody, yeasty smell to them, but that dissipates after a few hours. They don't leave a residue on windows or anything else. I even had him do my truck! Peter showed up at my house on time and told me that he wasn't planning on treating at that visit, because he had used up all his product on the previous job and would just like to evaluate that day. I became panicky- I was SO SICK! When I told him how sick I was he said he would go get the supplies and come back right away- an hour out of his way! It showed me that he really cared about me as a human, not just a customer. I am all about Biorganic mold removal, and you know what? He is the ONLY game in town with this special service- something Oregonians would be way into doing if they were aware of his company. I hope to expand people's knowledge with my review!

Hardline installed two fireplaces for us, both of which involved demolishing the old 1970s rock wall fireplaces. One required building a four-sided, free standing cage from floor to ceiling, and one required a flush wall cage, again from floor to ceiling. They gave us the exact square footage we needed to order the tile [Bedrosians Tile and Stone] and the Schluter [our new favorite word] trim. They installed the tiles we picked out, built and laid new hearths, assembled the inserts that we bought, and installed the gas lines. They directed us to Lisac's for the inserts and Lisac's was also great to deal with. They also gave us a tutorial of the remote control after the jobs were finished [it's not just off and on anymore!]. Every single person that sees our living room fireplace gives us a "WOW"! I'm just sorry that we don't have anymore fireplaces that need to be done, but since they also offer a yearly maintenance contract for a very reasonable price, I signed up for two years as I am afraid of anything fire-related so we'll still get to see them once a year.
