My usual cleaning service was a "no show" and, as I had moved all my furniture off my carpets, I was desperate to find a service that could come on short notice. I immediately reached Uzor on the phone and he said he would arrive in an hour! He did a much better job at cleaning my carpets than the service I had been using for 20 years. What a difference! His prices are fair, and he left my house sparkling. During his visit my disabled husband fell, and he offered to help me get him up and back in his chair. A kind and above and beyond service. Uzor was terrific to work with and his price was reasonable. We needed someone who was dependable and who could come in and do a deep cleaning job on a new home. He came in with his steam cleaning machine for the tile flooring in the bathrooms and he used great cleaning products on our hard wood flooring, material window blinds and windows. He made everything shine! The huge and very tall windows alone, would have been an enormous task for anyone, but he did all the work with a smile and an efficient and hard working attitude. He spent an entire day and then came back another day to complete the long list of items I had requested that he do. (The extra dat wasn't in our original plan but he wanted to make sure everything was completed as arranged...I was impressed!) It was about to be Memorial Weekend, so of course I was freaking out because my last day was coming up. When I called PCS and they were able to schedule a consultation AND clean the townhouse the very next day! I used this Praise Cleaning services again after a tenant moved out during this difficult time. I am working full time, and practicing social distancing, so I definitely wanted a trusted company that I could trust to do the work independently. Uzor was able to get out there within 2 business days, he joined in the work himself, and completed all the details without contact by using a lock box. Great job on windows inside and out and sills, as well as blinds, even cleaning the garage floor and fireplace, which are items that some cleaners just don't include in whole house cleaning without major upcharges. read more

3/25/20 SCAM this company is a absolute joke. They came the first day with two cleaners and did an absolutely horrible job that I videotaped and documented. We paid $450 for a deep clean for a new house we bought. When we contacted them to tell them we are not satisfied with the job that they did they gave us one early morning time frame that did not fit our schedule so we said no and instead of trying to reschedule they showed up the next morning after we said no unannounced. We contacted them later that morning and scheduled a time for them to come back and when they did one person arrived which was the owner and argued with me about the level of clean that they did. I literally had to follow behind him with a flashlight since they don't have any type of light and point areas out. I should not have to do that, they didn't even do any of the corners on the floor. When he was about halfway done with the first floor he made up an excuse somebody died and it's an emergency and dropped what he was doing and left without saying another word or giving me a full refund that I requested. I will be taking him to small claims court for my reimbursement and I have strong video and audio evidence of the whole situation and the lack of work. I will also contact the Attorney General of the state to file a claim against this business. I strongly wouldn't recommend you have been warned! read more

Wow, I could not be happier with the service that we received at Praise Cleaning Services. My husband and I lived in a downtown apartment, and we needed our carpets cleaned in a pinch. (We forgot that we needed them cleaned before moving out, and only had 24 hours to get it done.) We called a couple of different places. One said they were all booked up and the rest said they didn't service downtown because of parking. Then we found Praise. Uzor took care of us for sure. He made time for us in his schedule by coming before his existing schedule. He was in and out and had the whole thing finished in about 20 minutes- and he did a fantastic job. I called them at noon on a Tuesday and they were available to clean the carpets that same afternoon, but I had to be sure my dog was not in the house (PNW weather, so wet paws) so we scheduled for the following morning. They came over at the agreed time and finished everything in an hour. They were prompt and efficient! Not to mention they were super friendly. The cost of their services were reasonable. Absolute joke. We spent over $350 for a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment. They didn't even wipe down our kitchen counters. They halfway cleaned the floor and left the corners piled up with dust. Didn't wipe down the refrigerator or clean a single appliance. Left bathrooms counters dirty. The only things they cleaned were the outsides of the doors, the inside of the fridge (because we agreed to pay extra) and vacuuming the bedroom. We wanted to have the house cleaned before showing it for renters, now we will have to pay another cleaner. Additionally, they broke our vacuum cleaner trying to vacuum up coins. They forgot to vacuum an entire bedroom and had re-loaded theirs into the car, then they asked to use ours because they didn't want to carry it back out of the car. Then they broke it by using it carelessly. Absolute waste of money, I have never experienced any thing like this with years of using professional cleaning services. read more

Found this company online. Was impressed with the website so signed up to conduct tile and grout cleaning in 3 bathrooms. Was quoted approximately $120 per bathroom over the phone which increased to $150 (not including tip) upon arrival. I thought that was high but wanted it done so was willing to eat the cost. Upon leaving, immediately saw the damage to the baseboards. I was also concerned the grout wasn't a consistent color throughout but wondered if it just needed to dry. I reached out to Uzor (who I assume is also the owner) and asked he come back out to reclean. He agreed. The next day I noticed the wall damage. At this point we really didn't want Uzor coming back because we didn't want anything else damaged but did still want the grout clean. I text and asked for a credit. Uzor called and asked how much of a credit I wanted. I said "50%" (but was caught off guard by his question). He accepted with no pushback. As I still wanted the tile cleaned, I explained that we will still need to pay to get someone else in here. He offered to come back and clean it again but would not issue any credit. I asked him to give me an hour to discuss with my husband. Soon after, and before I had an opportunity to respond, he said he had issued the credit and there would be no additional cleaning. The credit didn't include the tip so we still ended up paying over $300 for a poor quality job, no fix, and will now spend time fixing the paint he messed up. Terrible. read more

I can't figure out what they did clean? Absolutely disgusting. I had spoken to Uzor about the size of our 3200 sq ft home and asked if that was a job they could tackle? I was not only assured, but was asked for $250 more for all the windows and blinds...EXCEPT they didn't clean them!!! I ran my hand over a carpeted step and my hand was filled with white dog hair...my dog is black! Omg, and the smell!! Uzor and Wally spent all day cleaning our rental before we turned it over to the landlords, and the house was SPARKLING when they finished. From bathrooms to baseboards, shelves to shutters, they cleaned everything so that the house was cleaner than when we moved in. The appliances were spotless. My tenants hired Uzor's company to clean a two story home when they moved out. Uzor did a great job with cleaning the upstairs, cleaning the window slats, bathroom, and carpets. The woman who worked downstairs cleaned the oven and refrigerator very well although she failed to clean the shower. The glass doors were smeared (instead of clear) and there was hair in the shower still and water spots on the faucet area. I would have given this company 5 stars if it wasn't for the shower. I did not find this company Praise worthy. I don't know how they got so many excellent reviews. The estimate was was a third to half of what I was ultimately charged and there was dirt left in corners everywhere. This was a practically empty house with no furniture to move, An easy job that required very little work and they did not even do that. I was very excited to use Praise Cleaning Services for my move-out clean of our townhouse in Hillsboro. I contacted Praise via e-mail a month prior to my requested cleaning, and they confirmed the date and quoted me a price of $250-$300 depending on the status of the home. I asked if they offered any military discounts, stated our home was actually quite clean and would be completely empty of furniture and other items. I received a reply saying that it would be $300 to clean our house, and to text a number stating the date, time, and cost... I should have realized then that this was a questionable operation... Instead, I texted the number provided the information I was asked, confirmed the cleaning for March 28, not February 28, and that was that. Fast forward to March 25, and I texted the number provided to confirm my cleaning for the 28th. They confirm. I then ask if we can switch to the 29th, at the same time, at the same house due to a personal conflict. They text back and confirm. The 29th comes and goes, and there is not a call or text from Praise. No one showed up to clean... Out of curiosity, today April 2, I decided to text the number and ask why no one showed up last week, and what was their reply??? "Sorry I forgot . I just saw your text" .....wtf? We booked with another company for carpet cleaning and they cancelled on us on the night before at 8:30 PM. We had already moved all our furniture and vacuumed to be all ready for our appointment at 8 AM. When they cancelled we were scrambling trying to find anyone who could help us and BAM! PRAISE CLEANING SERVICES!!! Open 24 hours- how cool is that?! They were at our house within the hour! Which was even better so it would dry all night and our babies could play like normal the next morning, but on our like-new, clean, beautiful carpet! And the guy was SO NICE! Praise Cleaning did my daughter's apartment when they were moving- it was fast, affordable, thorough and excellent. The apartment started in terrible shape- hardly any cleaning done in there for years, literally. Trash piled high, couldn't walk through. It looked like the place should have just been burned. Praise came and had the place looking and smelling good in 3 hours. After that experience, we decided to use Praise Cleaning for our 2500 sq ft house. Our place wasn't in bad shape, but we're getting ready to sell. They cleaned carpets, washed walls and windows, did floors and bathrooms (3), in about 5 hours with a crew of 3. I used Praise Cleaning Services by default when I purchased a coupon deal for 2000 feet of pressure washing fir $125. I found them unprofessional & arrogant. The pressure washing job was fairly good, but not consistent workmanship. My decks are low to the ground with stepping stones & gravel in one edge. You could not even see my stepping stones with all the mud covering them & the small rock around them was a mess. I pointed this out & he just stood there He used my hose which didn't connect tightly so was dripping into my vent well, then he took a phone call leaving the water running/dripping while he went out to the driveway. I turned off the water & when I pointed out dripping to him & then changed to his hose which worked somewhat better . Would not use again. read more

He answered, had all my questions right off the bat, had a same-week appointment for move-out clean and carpet clean, texted with status updates through the day of work, and did a great job! I noticed later they missed one small cupboard but they did such a great job and only had one cleaner with this Oregon weather so I don't blame them at all. We hired Praise for a move-in deep clean of a house which had been empty since last year, which their website boasts is their specialty. While things we generally clean (they weren't that dirty before, just dusty) they missed every single corner of every room, behind doors, the space under both claw foot bathtubs was never touched, bathroom drawers were missed completely, behind every toilet was missed, light fixtures weren't dusted, the list is endless. They also shattered a piece of our frig glass in the side of the sink with the disposal and DIDN'T VACCUM IT OUT. They left all of it in the disposal and just cleaned up what you could see. They also lied to me about the type of glass, claiming it was the wrong kind, however, once we removed it from the disposal we saw the correct glass markings indicating it being frig glass. Its one thing to miss parts, its another to lie to us. Then they tried to charge us full price with no reimbursement of the glass. Not cool. read more

I was very happy with their service until this past week and 1/2. Jerry was the one who usually did the cleaning although one time he sent his brother Jerry started doing a great job but I noticed each time he came it seemed to be the it was not as good as the time before. The last time he came he did not vacuum the small area rug in the family room which was very noticeable because my small dog had a few of his stuffed animals on the rug when I left for work and they were in the same spot when I returned. He was not cleaning the bathrooms as good as he did in the beginning. He was not emptying the small trash cans in the bathrooms, nor was he wiping off the small stainless still trash can which had a cover and was showing water spots. I was not there most of the time since i work on Fridays which is the day he usually cam. My husband noticed that he wasn't taking as much time to do the job as before. A week ago Thursday Jerry called my husband to say he would be there around noon on the next day, which was Friday. He never showed up and my husband call and they said he would not be coming. We tried all a few more times to see if someone else was coming in place of him but could not talk with anyone and left a message on their voice mail. I asked that they call me to explain why he wasn't coming and they never did call me back. That only shows that this company is not reliable and really does not care about their customers. I found Praise Cleaning Services on Yelp and messaged him for a quote. I didn't expect an answer for a while, but he responded extremely quickly with a basic quote for a move out cleaning. Uzor was extremely responsive and we set the appointment on Yelp messaging and via text. Day of, I had forgotten to leave the door unlocked and after a quick phone call, we rescheduled for later that same day. He called that evening letting me know that they had cleaned but that the cleaning was more than what he was expecting so it took them a little longer. I was completely ready to pay a little bit more, but he told me, "You know what? We won't charge you any extra for it. Just pay from the quote. We did our best but sorry we couldn't get everything up." I went back to check on it and it was beyond what I imagined. They did such a good job, I kind of want to move back in! There was one little spot on a counter they couldn't remove (which I expected wouldn't come up) but other than that, it was spotless. I saw some negative reviews regarding the carpet cleaning, but my carpets were pretty bad when they went in (I have two dogs who have gotten old enough now that they can't always hold their urine) and they looked and smelled fantastic after the cleaning, so I'm not certain what folks were expecting from a cleaning that they didn't get. I would not recommend this company. They had to come back the next day to redo the cleaning and it still looks worse than when they started. My carpets were only 4 years old. I have owned my condo for three years and when I moved in the carpets looked new. My husband and I only use the condo for five months a year and with only two of us and the equivalent of only one year, they did not get much wear and tear. There was some dirt in the traffic areas but not too much in other areas of the condo. My first reaction was that the equipment looked dirty. When they left, the carpet dried with streaks throughout the condo. I called the next day and they very willingly came back. They used two different machines. At one point I saw that a hose was leaving a green paint like mark and told the owner, he said not to worry it would come right up. It never did and remains on my white carpet. He also let the machine sit on my carpet, as he was removing the hoses. There was a big ring of dirty water that was left, and it took a long time to dry and then left the big ring as a stain. I will not call them back, but the experience was not a good one. Although they were courteous, and kept telling me not to worry and said that it was my type of carpet that showed the marks, and tried to blame the type of carpet. Beware! read more
