10-Star Service! My…read morehusband and I had our house up for sale, and during the inspection, some issues were found in the crawl space. We received three quotes for the repairs, and One Speed Services stood out immediately. They were fairly priced, incredibly informative, and professional--so we hired them. They handled a large, labor-intensive job for us, all while working around a very tight schedule with our buyers. The scope of work included containment and removal of contamination, installation of a new vapor barrier, rodent exclusion in the crawl space, replacement of a damaged vent termination, and installation of vent wells around the entire house. The technicians showed up on time every day, dressed in uniform, and arrived in company vehicles. They were clean, conscientious, and respectful--never leaving behind a trace of debris. During the project, there was a brief miscommunication. We contacted the office, and they had the owner, Chris Gage, personally call us. Even though his technicians were fully booked, Chris rearranged his own schedule and came to our home for several hours to resolve the issue himself. That level of service is rare and incredibly appreciated. Chris and his entire team went above and beyond to accommodate our timeline and made sure their work did not interfere with the sale of our home. We couldn't be more grateful. Highly recommend One Speed Services--true professionals from start to finish!

Premier was good at packing out our belongings, but the actual restoration work on our home was…read moreterrible. We've had to redo multiple things more than once. They sent non licensed electricians to perform electrical work, and afterward we had loose and faulty outlets in several places. When we raised concerns, they said they would not fix them. They also hired very low quality contractors for repairs. At one point, I asked for only the garage ceiling to be painted black, and instead they painted all of the interior ceilings in my home black. When I objected, they tried to convince me to keep it. They eventually repainted the ceilings back to the original color, but they did not even remove hardware like dome lights and door hardware, so black paint was still visible underneath. When they told us the house was ready to move back into, many things still did not work. The garbage disposal was clogged, the dishwasher was clogged, the washer and dryer were not connected or plumbed correctly, the bathroom ceiling fans were not working, the doorbell stopped working, the fridge ice maker stopped working, and new garage outlets they installed did not even work. They blamed some of this on pre existing issues, but these problems appeared after their work. I also found that they billed insurance for work that was not actually completed. About a year later, I discovered they had never installed attic insulation as claimed. They only came back to do it after I caught it. Later, when the dishwasher clogged again and overflowed through the air gap, I checked under the sink and found a large kink in the garbage disposal hose from an improper installation. This was another example of careless workmanship. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that anyone using this company inspect every claimed repair very carefully and verify that the work was actually completed. Good packing service does not make up for poor restoration work and questionable repair practices.

I immediately reached Uzor on the phone and he said he would arrive in an hour! He did a much better job at cleaning my carpets than the service I had been using for 20 years. What a difference! His prices are fair, and he left my house sparkling. During his visit my disabled husband fell, and he offered to help me get him up and back in his chair. A kind and above and beyond service. He spent an entire day and then came back another day to complete the long list of items I had requested that he do. (The extra dat wasn't in our original plan but he wanted to make sure everything was completed as arranged...I was impressed!) Uzor was very professional and I recommend him for single jobs or multiple tasks...he takes pride in his work, he works hard and he will get the job done without complaints or hesitation. I started getting respiratory symptoms 6 months ago and had to see a pulmonologist, who prescribed…read moremedications for presumed asthma diagnosis. I was aware of what I thought was just " mildew" under my bed- my dog comes in from the rain, sleeps under there, little air flow- I didn't think much of it. But my cough got more severe and I was using albuterol several times a day. I was kinda freaked out about how out of breath I was. So I decided to tear the bed down and shampoo the carpet...everything got worse from there. When I shampooed I wore a mask, but the next day I went into the room and the fans were blowing all around, and I immediately had a severe reaction and was violently vomiting. I had to go to urgent care for a nebulizer treatment and steroids. I had to sleep on the couch and couldn't even go in without an n95 mask, and would still have an asthma attack afterwards. I was SO SICK! I even had to call into work 2 times. This was crazy, though, right? Just mold! What is going on? Then I read about mycotoxin illness and it's bad! So I look for mold remediation on the internet, talk to some people and ask about experiences...and come to the conclusion this is going to be an expensive chemical nightmare that only ends temporarily... But I keep looking and come across BIORGANIC MOLD REMOVAL. I'm suspicious of a bait and switch like all the other " safe" remediation had lead me on with... But no! Here was something that made total sense! Mold eating probiotics- a living and lasting continuous solution that was even healthy! I did some research and found out that not only do probiotics eat mold, they help treat people with mycotoxin illness! This is a true scientifically backed statement- look it up on PubMed- the only place to go for research based medical facts and studies. So I did it! Peter ( owner operator) told me I could stay in the house while he treated, but that I could expect some signs of detox myself! I was like WHAT? DETOX? YES! Let's do it! So what blew my mind was how much better I felt after he was done treating! No joke! The probiotics have sort of a woody, yeasty smell to them, but that dissipates after a few hours. They don't leave a residue on windows or anything else. I even had him do my truck! Peter showed up at my house on time and told me that he wasn't planning on treating at that visit, because he had used up all his product on the previous job and would just like to evaluate that day. I became panicky- I was SO SICK! When I told him how sick I was he said he would go get the supplies and come back right away- an hour out of his way! It showed me that he really cared about me as a human, not just a customer. I am all about Biorganic mold removal, and you know what? He is the ONLY game in town with this special service- something Oregonians would be way into doing if they were aware of his company. I hope to expand people's knowledge with my review!

When I booked this appointment with Renée, I gave her the exact measurements of each room that they would be cleaning. They quoted me $325. When Chem Dry here to clean my house, I got a call saying that instead of 400 ft.² they needed to clean 800 ft.². That's quite the difference. I let the gentleman know that felt like them giving me the other quote was just to get into my house and he assured me, they were going to do a fantastic job. They sent one man. He was here for exactly 1 hour. They charged me $515 which I did agree to so that is not the problem. However, when I got home from this $515 carpet cleaning job, I decided to vacuum my carpets because I was finding stuff on the ground. Still which I should not be finding after they did a thorough job. I want to state, when I talk to Renée on the phone before they came out, she assured me on the recorded line, do not vacuum your floors that is part of the amazing service that we offer. Perfect. I did not vacuum. However, that evening when I got home, I decided to vacuum the carpets after they said they did the job. I'm going to go ahead and post a video of a vacuum canister that was completely empty and once I vacuumed the space that they were supposed to do it was 2/3 of the way full! I made another video to show them the space that I did not ask them to do so that they would see, I only vacuumed what they were supposed to clean. I will post that video as well. The morning that they came, my dog has terrible allergies and did a little sneeze on the carpet. I very lightly tried to wipe up the snot, but I left it because I knew they were coming, and I did not want to embedded in the carpet. That spot was not even touched. When I called them that evening and explained everything to Renee, she did not want me to send any pictures, she did not want me to send any videos. She wanted to talk to the owner and take care of it. When I spoke to Pepe a few days later, he said they would send someone back out to clean the house again. I am not going to invite someone back into my house to do a job that should've been done right the first time. The fact that you would charge me $515 and walk away thinking that you had a job well done? I'm not going to ask you to come back. The comeback service is very nice if you missed a coffee spot under a desk. It is not a service that I'm going to take when you literally did not clean my whole entire house. Do with what you want these photos and videos. After he refused to help me any further, I ended up having to take this situation up with my credit card to have them dispute the charge for me.
