This is an example of what dealing with any contractor should be. After much research I had decided to install the Hardie siding. I wanted to use a contractor who was familiar with the product and installed to James Hardie criteria and specifications. I went to James Hardie's website and searched for contractors that are designated as Elite Preferred. ACAE popped up and had impeccable reviews. Starting with the sales person, Joe, he thoroughly explained what they would do for me. He was knowledgeable and personable. There was absolutely no pressure whatsoever. The bid was higher than the others but after researching (ACAE) and speaking with Joe, I was convinced they were the company for me. In this case, you really get what you pay for. I was introduced to Josh, the Project Manager. Once again, very knowledgeable and personable. Very easy to work with and communicated with me on a daily basis. When problems cropped up, he was always there to offer suggestions on how to proceed. His crew, led by Nikolay with Rosty and Eugene, did amazing work. The workmanship is impeccable; the crew was very organized and professional. They always made the worksite safe and clean; leaving everything spotless when they left at the end of the day. I can't emphasize enough the quality of their work. It was just beautiful. The paint crew, led by Vladimir, once again did unbelievable work; totally transforming the appearance of an already exquisite job. Although color decisions were ultimately mine, Vladimir was always willing to offer a suggestion as to which color to use on a particular area. (I had selected four colors for the primary on the house, secondary for the house, trim and the doors.) These individuals collectively transformed my house (a basic ranch) into a home that I am proud to show off. In summation, I would highly recommend A Cut Above Exteriors if you want premium quality work on your home. You can probably get a siding job done cheaper but I truly believe you get what you pay for. There is nothing I can say negatively about the experience from the initial walk around with Joe, the actual installation with Josh, Nikolay, Rosty and Eugene and finally the painting with Vladimir and his crew. I would absolutely use ACAE again.

The builder on my house put in plastic vents to save money I guess and their roofer did a poor job…read morenailing incorrectly. To prevent problems others have had I had the vents replaced by Cooper Mountain. I called for an inspection and they promptly showed up and took pictures to show me the imminent failure. While it took a few days for the quote, it was a fair bit less than what others in my neighborhood have paid for the same repairs. We got on the schedule and they came out and fixed us up quickly. The builder also put in a vent with no connection to anything. The repairman showed me and went into the attic space to confirm that nothing was amiss. This is the second time I've used Cooper Mountain (roof replacement on prior residence) and I would totally recommend and use again when the time comes.

When I wanted to add ventilation to my roof, every other roofing company simply wanted to sell me a new roof, which I didn't need. Casey worked with me to create a custom solution that involved ridge venting and bird blocks to create the airflow needed on my duplex, without having to replace the roof. Once we agreed on a design, the install was done in 2 days, which is mind blowing considering there was over 100 feet of ridge vent and about 36 bird block vents. Casey came back to the property after the install to check the work which I greatly appreciate and I feel really shows the professionalism of this company. I will only be using Cooper Mountain for any roofing needs.

All three stated, roof cannot be salvaged, needs to be completely redone. After Bliss roof installed, I now have multiple weak points on roof. Various items in contract still not done btw. Found 2 access points in attic/roof that allow weather and pests in. These were not present before Bliss did roof. Bliss has still not returned my money for materials not used on my home, I have written proof of "Check is in the mail" from early June. Bliss offered me $2,500 in exchange for liability waiver & me to remove all reviews & complaints. I refused. Bliss employees agree the roof is subpar and not worth what I paid, yet I'm supposed to live with it. I am requesting a full refund to have roof replaced by someone reputable. These people lie in every direction - learn from my mistake. I am filing a complaint with the contractor's board- The inspector & other roofers all stated "You want the state inspector to come out! You should get all of your money back, this is less than amateur work". Friends don't let anyone they like use Bliss Roofing. All sales and no substance. BEWARE!!!!

The Crew - these guys were the hardest workers I've ever seen, (and I've seen a lot) they started at 7am - 6pm for 2 full days ! The inspector found several items that needed to be fixed, and Lucas agreed, commented about how good of an inspection it was, and promptly fixed the issues. We were satisfied. Lucas never showed up, never called, and now I've called and text him 8+ times without a call back.
