On a Sunday morning we had an accidental flood in our kitchen when a pot filler dripped all night over the stovetop. Once discovered we mopped up water all over the kitchen floor and immediately called three different restoration listings. Water had seeped under the island and under the house. Prestige NW is simply wonderful and provided fabulous mitigation, repair and reconstruction services! I highly recommend this company, and should we ever have a similar incident to this one, Prestige NW is my "go to" agency. Just before Christmas, we had a pipe break that flooded the master bedroom floor, closet floor, soaked some of the drywall, and then leaked into the next room. I read tons of reviews for multiple mitigation companies, selected Prestige NW, and came to realize it was the best decision ever! I contacted Prestige NW around 9 a.m. They not only answered the phone, they sent an evaluator over before noon. Tyler completed the preliminary evaluation and promptly sent a crew to begin the mitigation/drying process before the end of the day. The crew checked everything thoroughly, including the crawlspace under the house. The drying process and eventual reconstruction required clearing the affected rooms, so Prestige engaged a company to move the contents to storage. Everything was out before the end of the week. Throughout the mitigation process, Prestige NW staff frequently checked the moisture content and drying progress in the affected areas. They took the time to explain the moisture readings, the target moisture content at each stage, and anything else I wanted to know. They made sure that the electrical system would handle the equipment and were absolutely efficient and professional. After everything dried completely, and we had a brief pause for Christmas, Prestige NW quickly started the repairs and reconstruction. They did not waste time, and completed the drywall replacement, flooring replacement, and painting within a week. Everything turned out beautifully and exactly as we asked! From beginning to end, Prestige NW's business office worked closely with our insurance adjustor and me on the estimates, invoices, and payments. Due to a previous horrible experience with a different company, I was very cautious and asked numerous questions. Cassandra and Jeremy were endlessly patient and helpful, and explained everything honestly, thoroughly, and precisely. Everyone involved remained kind, respectful, courteous, responsive, punctual, patient, and communicative throughout the whole ordeal. (Did I mention patient?) Carlin's crew did a wonderful job replacing 3 windows in my house that had been leaking. I had someone recently working on my roof near the new windows, and he commented that there was no evidence of any construction! He couldn't believe his eyes! I know this was a very difficult job, pulling out the old windows. They were up almost 30 feet, so installing the new windows was equally challenging. Thank you Carlin, Mike, Justin, and Quinton! Had Prestige NW redo my kitchen after water damage in Aug 2022. The guys who came to work showed up at 8am. By the time the got everything in the house they needed they took a break a 10am. Then went to lunch at noon then took another break at 2pm then left at 3:00. The project took a long time to complete. They did a lot of great work over all. The painting in the kitchen was an issue that they tried to fix. The biggest issue is with the cabinets. They are cheaply made. After many weeks the cabinets finally showed up and they had to be sent back because they were cut wrong. I have a small kitchen and it didn't require tons of cabinets. When they finally got the cut right and installed they looked great..but that's it. They are smaller then the ones I had. I lost my lazy susan in a corner and can't use that space. They gave me 1/2 shelves inside the bottom cabinets. I Carlin told me that's how they are done now. I was so upset I told him take them all out of here, I wanted what I had. He did get the shelves I wanted. Now the doors don't close properly. Carlin sent someone out the fix it, they couldn't, so his message was I just have to live with it!!!!! Now the paint on those cabinets on one door is cracking..These cabinets were put in Nov 22. My brand new stove was all scratched I assume from a belt buckle because they had to put up backsplash. My fridge got a dent in the door and everyone denied doing it. SO yea, good guys overall but not always careful. When they sealed up the bottom under my sink they did not vent my AC,Heater vent. They just let the air blow in that open space. My under sink if quite large and we were getting no heat from it. Carlin came and we fussed about it, he said this is how it's done I disagreed. I called my HVac guy out to verify that everything was hooked up under the house..Had Carlin back and he was still adamant that it was fine. I think I convinced him that when this house was built in 1992 it was properly vented. He finally fixed it. I should not have to argue to get things done right. I had them do other projects that was not insurance related and for the most part they did good. Laying flooring and base boards aren't hard. So in summary, I would be sure that you get what you pay for. I wish the owner would be the guy who came at the end of a project and went over it with the homeowner and discuss the good and the bad so he can make sure he's hiring correctly.. read more

Mitigation Services (not the rebuild services) utilized in July 2024. After I learned that a slow leak in my kitchen had left us with a water/mold mess in the lower cupboards and flooring, a respected plumber referred me to Tyler Long at Prestige NW. I immediately learned why Tyler, the Mitigation Manager, was so highly recommended. He was very professional, responsive, communicative, friendly and kind. Because the water damage was not covered by insurance, we had to do the project as self-pay. Of the bids I had done, PNW's was the best and I believe they took care to help me keep costs down while doing a thorough job. It took several weeks to complete the process because mandatory asbestos testing revealed we had it in the flooring. They coordinated the services of an abatement company who treated and safely removed the flooring. The Prestige NW crew who worked on our house included Troy, Nick, Cary and Fadlle, who were all fantastic. They were professional, courteous, communicative - and patient with my many questions. When little hitches occurred - like the dehydrator tubing getting pinched by a bedroom door - they immediately resolved the issue. The whole team kept me in the loop and their respectful and compassionate manner helped me make it through the stress of the situation. On the final day of the remediation, Fadlle who was working in the crawl space, noticed some ducts were disconnected. Knowing that I had recently heating and AC work done, he took the initiative to photograph the ducts and bring them to my attention. It was that "going the extra mile" on his part and the others is the reason I highly recommend Prestige NW for water mitigation and remediation.
