They replaced two windows last July (2024). Did a great job. Professional and friendly. The only "issue" was getting the windows from manufacturer (Milgard). It took longer than expected. lifetime was communicative. We had such a good experience we called them to add a window but they didn't seem interested. Did not come out to provide estimate. Said the "engineering" and permitting would be expensive. Instead, we worked with city building inspection/permitting. Wrote our own permit application, drew diagram, and paid the cheap fee of $30. All approved; no issues. Window was not of the quality we could have purchased from lifetime but at least I have a window in what was a previously dark cave of a bathroom! We will try to use them again in future if need arises. Don't confuse this company with Lifetime exteriors (I don't believe it's same company). read more

I spent A Lot of time researching getting all new Windows and a slider in my circa 1992 townhouse. Looking at 12 plus windows and the slider. We had been living with OLD aluminum windows that would not close properly and the seals were long broken. I had Renewal by Anderson, Pella, another local Milguard installer and almost the "triple pane" dude from LakeO. Also researched other makes of windows including Marvin and Jeld Wen... If this was going to be my "forever" home I probably would have spent the extra 30+% on Renewal by Anderson as I liked the sales guy and think my job would have actually gone right. I actually sent him $100 to take his wife out to dinner after not choosing him because he was so, no pressure and actually educated me and was pretty much a consultant, just like he said he would be. ***Although now I think I would look at Lifetime for even higher end windows I know they have as Lifetime's installation went beyond expectpections*** Anyhoo, in my research of all these companies it was almost universal that they received five stars or one stars. The windows were all fine and high quality but the installation was the crux. You can put in the best and most expensive windows but if they aren't installed, calked, sealed, etc. correctly then all deals are off. I found Lifetime on the Oregon Energy Credits website and had reservations but their reviews were stellar. When Matt gave me his bid (after the other three but before LakeO dude) it wasn't the cheapest but by no means the most expensive, I took it, said let's get er done and called the LakeO triple pane dude and cancelled his appointment, he pouted, boo :( So we were still dealing with COVID and supply issues but they set a date that was reasonable (8-12 weeks I think) and then before the scheduled date we had the HEAT DOME. I called Thursday before our scheduled Monday concerned because I am anal. They didn't think it would be a problem but then I got a call on Saturday (they are closed) and we came up with a plan for them to show up EARLY, set up and get a start on the back end of the house (Shady West side) before the heat really started. Well Kai and Karl showed up right on time at 7:30am, got their tools and ladders and Windows and by 9am it was already 90+ degrees. They got a back window in and we called it a day. Next day even hotter but they showed up early and finished the back and slider. We survived. Yeah. Kai and Karl are THE BEST, just saying. On to the front of the house which is a super tall townhouse. CO, shows up to help setting up the crazy scaffolding rig. CO has to be the strongest man I have ever met, anyhoo, two days later all done. They only went a day over what was scheduled .... IN THE MIDDLE OF A HEAT DOME .... It was literally 116 degrees at one point and always over 100. I can't give Tai, Karl, (Bodie the new kid) and CO to much credit. And Matt. Great teamwork which is sadly missing lately so many times. Three visits total and all very professional, they explain everything you need to know and answer all your questions. Everything they said they would do they did which is hard to find these days. I waited a few months before writing this to see how we like the windows and we love them far better than we even expected. *UPDATED BELOW* Okay, I was really excited to get a quote from these guys as I need some new windows. So my sales rep was Christian. Nice guy, he arrived 15 minutes late. Really, I wasn't as concerned with that. So he did his thing. Measured my windows told me my discounts etc. He spoke ill of another company (which will give me their quote soon). Told me my quote which was the first one yet and I was almost ready to get on board. My brother in law was looking for windows as well so he asked him for a quote as well, as I referred him, oops on my part. Turns out he has 11 windows to install. His house is trimmed up and everything. His quote came in 6900.00 after some rebates. My house has 6 Windows. My quote was 5900 after discounts and rebates. "Whaaaaat? Really?" Mind you I told them I would do the interior casing and trim myself. Also, currently the old casing and trim are gone, as I removed them for making the job swifter. His reason are as follows as I copy and paste the email from him: Oops, I am sorry. There was no line and case added to the job for interior trim. 1. After reviewing the estimate form throughly, 2 of the 6 windows are custom sizes.( your relative has none) 2. Lines 1 and 5. Also, you have 2 windows on a second story(your relative has none) 3. You also have 2 windows tempered and frosted. (Bath and stairs) your relative has 1 window tempered and frosted) All of those things are make the job cost more. Those three item add to to the cost. There project for 11 windows was $7,382.00 Your 6 windows are $5,985 if you pay cash ( your relatives paid cash) If you finance the project $6,484 These are all the correct prices in order to get the project completed. We recently had 6 large windows replaced that were badly damaged and hard to slide open. My experience with Lifetime Windows and Doors started out awful but ended very well. One of the estimators came out to give us a quote. He complained about a woman in the office named Mona exactly 3 times to us and he seemed to not let it go, it was super unprofessional and really uncomfortable since we were new customers. He gave us a quote on the spot and we felt a little pressured by him to go with them so we did. We actually were told to put down a 50% deposit, which we did. He told us we'd likely get installed next Tuesday, so I marked it on my calendar and he said they'd call me for the install date and final measurements. Well, Mona called me and told me the install date was that Tuesday, so I wrote it up in my Google calendar and requested that day off from work. I realized no one had called me to take final measurements so two days before the install, I called and spoke to Sonia who was extremely confused. She said Tuesday was the final measurements date and I explained to her that's not what I was told and that I took work off and everything. So they came and did the measurements and the guy was very professional and knowledgeable. He said he'd get back to us with an install date. When I spoke to Mona on the phone to ask about the style of windows (because the original guy never even asked us what kind of windows we wanted or if we wanted the same and never confirmed with us what style he ordered), she told me the install date was tentatively April 11. That's it. One day. So I said okay. Then the measurements guy got ahold of us and also told us April 11. So I marked my calendar again and took work off again. April 11 came and I got a phone call from Sonia in the morning which went to voicemail. Sonia explained the Milgard guys wouldn't get there in time and that it'd would've been a two day install and that shed move it to the next day and that they'd "try to make it a one day install". I called her back wondering what the heck was going on. I told her that day would not work for me because I had an event to cover at work and she was VERY agitated with me and said "well you knew this was a two day install, you were scheduled for Thursday and Friday so moving it to Friday shouldn't be a problem" and I just got so angry and told her no I did NOT because that's not what I was told by two different people. She made a deep, annoyed sigh and said "...okay well we're booking over a month out so" and I just said "it's not my fault we were told the wrong information, that's not on us" and she seemed to change her tone and that's when I just lost it and said I wanted to learn about canceling or getting my money back. It had turned into a nightmare and I was getting blamed. She had her manager Lindsay call me. Lindsay was extremely apologetic for the actions of her staff and was super understanding. She offered to have our windows installed in one day the following week and assured me "scheduling over a month out" was not true. She also gave me her personal phone number just in case anything else came up and offered me a discount for my trouble. Come install day, I was a little nervous because of my experience and hadn't received any kind of confirmation of my appointment which I thought was strange. But the team showed up on time and did an AMAZING job. The windows were very well done. One of the guys actually had an allergy attack and I had to run and get him Benadryl so they weren't even operating at 100% and still did an amazing job! I would def recommend them for the work they did, if you run into trouble just ask for Lindsay and she'll make sure you're taken care of or solve any communication issues. We asked several contractors to bid on replacing a kitchen window. Only two bid, the others saying they would only bid on much larger jobs. Lifetime's bid was about $1000 lower than the other bid. The window was installed yesterday and it's really, really nice. The installation crew put a tarp down on the driveway to limit the spread of debris and cleaned up after themselves really well when they were done. Good job Lifetime! read more

I realize we are experiencing a pandemic and job slowdowns but there was no communication with me and if I tried to call someone, I got the call center who left numerous messages but I was never called. Update: Lindsay from Lifetime Windows and Doors left a comment for me after I posted my review saying that she had been trying to get a hold of me...however...she never left me a voice mail. I called her back twice at the number she left and left a message both times and have not heard a word back. First let me say that the installers we great!...The job was done well and everyone was very nice. That is where is stopped though. We had an issue with one of our windows cracking from the top to about the middle of the window about a year after they were installed. I called the Bend store and Gregg helped me...sort of. He explained that they do not guarantee any of the windows, only the install....this was NOT explained to us when we bought these windows (Milgard) we were under the impression that "Lifetime Windows and Doors" meant just that, that they were guaranteed for a lifetime. If we would have been told this by the sales rep we would NOT have purchased Milgard windows...we would have stayed with Timbur Windows who guarantee their windows for life. After calling Milgard, they told me that they don't guarantee windows unless you pay extra for that....again, that was never explained to us by Lifetime Window and Doors, or, again, we would not have purchased those windows. They sales team needs to do a much better job of making people understand what exactly they guarantee. read more

We got tired of our single pane windows due to heat loss during winter and clearly hearing all the freeway noise which runs close to our house. I literally called about 10 window companies and received the best quote from Joe H. at Lifetime Windows. He was extremely professional, knowledgable and honest. I also like that there was no pressure. They measured my windows quickly and then we discussed our options. They have some of the best windows on the market that will last. I loved all the cool features like woods, screen locking and pane options. The installation was a breeze and we are loving our new windows! This was our first winter with them and our electric bill has gone down considerably. They look beautiful and I can't hear the freeway anymore which is awesome! read more

Lifetime contacted me to update my review with more stars. I came back out and noticed that I had a response from the owner. I have 2 points of contention: 1. I first contacted their office to see if we could resolve the issue and asked to speak with an owner. No one called me back. I called again and still did not receive a response. I did not receive a call from a manager to resolve my complaint until AFTER I left a negative Yelp review. 2. Yes, my roofing job was subbed out. Phil Coates from Rain or Shine LLC and his crew did the roofing job. You can find his business right here and Yelp; I wish I had contracted with him directly. While I didn't decide to go with Lifetime, their quote was competitive and they have a number of good options available, some of which are likely to fit your needs better than they did mine. I recently purchased my second home and in the past five months have worked with so many different companies to accomplish so many different tasks. Getting my windows replaced has been by far the best experience out of all of these. These guys were so friendly and incredibly timely and punctual! They got me in right away and had my windows ordered, delivered, and installed in what I would've expected to be an almost impossible time frame. Maybe the owners of this company don't think it's a big deal for a family to spend over $10,000 on a new front door, but for us it was a major decision. The sales guy gets the only star in this review because he did a fantastic job selling us a beautiful solid wood door with side panels and transom. On installation day we were pretty excited, until the guys left and we realized the door was not hung level, and they didn't even wipe down the glass. After calling the office we were told it would be a MONTH before someone could come out and fix it. We just happened to run into the sales guy at the local pool that weekend and told him how unhappy we were, and he must've talked to the owners because the next day the office called to schedule the reinstall. The next guy who came out took a bunch of pictures and basically said the guys did a terrible job. He fixed it, but there were holes the first guys didn't fill and a few other minor complaints. He assured me they would be sending a supervisor out to do a final inspection. Nobody ever came. The next call I got was from the office...asking me for the final payment!! Really?? These guys do not care one bit about customer satisfaction or retention, obviously. Had I been happy, maybe I'd get my windows replaced by them. But NOPE, never again. We picked out windows and they were getting estimates together and just kept putting it off. I would follow-up and nothing would have been done. After weeks of nothing, I took what we had discussed to another company and handed them the list and they were ordered the same day. I've purchased over 30+ windows now (across two orders)... sad because the people are nice and seem to know what they are talking about.... but don't seem to want business. *UPDATE - A very nice lady called me to discuss this issue right after posting. Instead of replacing our door (which would have been very expensive and a big undertaking) he recommended to have it fixed and gave me a recommendation. I would not ever recommend this company, even to my worst enemy! I am a disabled woman who hired lifetime in August of this year to do a siding job with a 50% down payment. Excuse after excuse they showed up on Halloween with a dumpster and a porta potty parked in front of my home. Come Thanksgiving week it was still not finished up. But they sure showed up for the balance owed promising that the issues would be resolved. Now 3 weeks later, we still have gutters not strapped to my house, no exterior lighting had been rehung, my cable box and wires are laying on the ground out back and so is my brand new $500 storm door that had just been professionally installed! They've stopped by to pick up things leaving my gates wide open for my service dogs to escape. Thankfullly they were not killed or injured. The lack of supervisor from lifetime following this, we had to call them when their crews did not show up. Mind you that was on multiple sunny days of work. I've got planks that are warped and move when pressed against as well. The foreperson even hit me up with her second business she runs. Telling us she doesn't just work for lifetime. WOW!! Imagine the delays could be due to her hands being in to multiple solicitations for extra work she has her own company. That's great for your business and reputation Lifetime!! We are to the point with this now (since a disabled woman) has been taken advantage of that we will be handing this over to our legal counsel to resolve. Lifetime does not seem to care about what has happened to us with no offers of recourse. After paying over 26k, I should not have to hire an electrician, call the cable company for a reinstall of the wiring left all around my home on the ground or a fencer to fix the botched job I'm left with!! I wish I would have hired my own subcontractor directly!! Maybe you should too. I was asked to leave an update by Lifetime, so here it is. 1/29/17 They called immediately after this review was posted. Showed up the following day. Had a employee with them to try and fix a few of the issues. Gate repair on left side of home. .... I can just trim off some wood so it closes?? Never mind my brand new double gate closed before they messed it up. Just shave off an inch. Wow The other side of my home gate that was fully functional. "I can force it closed but it will never open again Great answer and resolve there! Warped planks.. Ohh once the sun bakes it on, this should go away. Storm door.. Took another 2 weeks as the original crew lost or threw away major components to reinstall it. Wiring..I had to hire my own electrician to rehang all of the exterior lighting. 2 fixtures needed to be replaced due to water damages at our cost. (Ty lifetime) They did however reattach the cable wires to the home. Due to the siding delays the painters still can not complete their job. Our home was to be listed for sale in December. My opinion is still unchanged. I would not recommend Lifetime. read more
